Currys
Currys, where to start. You deliver a damaged fridge freezer, I make a complaint about poor customer service and misleading information provided by delivery drivers and lack of communication between call centre and delivery company, I don’t get contacted back by phone or email as requested. Bearing in mind, for your records, all calls are recorded yet no one addresses this internally. I finally speak to a voice of reason yesterday and arrange for the damaged item to be collected, then I get a phone call from a woman harassing me from 0121 8382002 asking me to explain it all over again. I am usually a resilient person, but this experience has absolutely shaken my nerves. I am still within 30 days of purchasing it and it was logged as delivered damaged! I will be glad when it is collected and I have my gift card refund, but I wish I never would have purchased a large item from you in the first place. If tomorrow’s collection doesn’t go swimmingly and I receive further harassment and negative remarks, then having to defend my decision to not want a damaged item and take your meagre 15% partial refund (on a gift card!), I will report to trading standards. It seems like you want social media to entice customers to purchase from you, but when you have our money, you treat us abhorrently.
Extremely disappointing service
Placed an online order for same day collection using a gift card. This was placed outside of business hours, so naturally presumed this would be available to collect the next day.
Spoke to an advisor on the online chat who was no help at all.
Waited another working day and phoned customer services, who have advised that my order actually isn't placed and needs to be cancelled with a gift card sent in the post which could take up to two weeks. There has been no communication from Currys that this order has not gone through. In fact, an email was received to say it had gone through.
Asked for an e voucher instead but apparently this will still take up to 5 working days. Have asked for a manager, hopefully someone who has a teeny tiny bit of empathy unlike the chat advisor and phone advisor, to give me a call to discuss an appropriate resolution.
Extremely disappointed and will be contacting the company who issued me the voucher to request a voucher for elsewhere.
Well informed
Both my wife and I were well informed about our product and was very impressed on how the delivery was set up
Very pleased
Good Service reliable; Good customer service from Castle Vale nice guy to helped me carry the TV in the car.

I purchased a washing machine along with a paid installation service. However, the delivery team left without installing it, forcing me to set it up myself. Despite reporting this immediately and following up multiple times, customer service has passed the blame to the delivery team and refused to resolve the issue or refund the service fee. Actually its not the fault of customer service team its their manager that he has such not competent team member. I have also requested to speak to their manager promising to call me back which never happened. Disappointing experience and lack of accountability.
Never had a problem with currys before…
Never had a problem with currys before trying to order a printer from them and having to deal with the cistomer service. Ordered a printer it was available for collect 2 days from ordering but also had next day delivery so i chose that rather than having to wait for 2 days. Printer never arrived DPD never recieved the parcel. Little bit peaved but least ill get it on the thursday i thought. Well no the tracking is still saying not recieved and so im not getting it on the day i could of collected it in person myself. Tried live chat on the wednesday who told me it would be 24 hours twice. If the live chat didnt just disconnect for no reason. Then rang customer support the day after due date and they told me it was rescheduled no answer as to why becaus ei never asked for that. Tried live chat again to fond out what was happening and chat statts explain reason and just cuts out.

Failed at refund, failed at install.
I went in store, bought a dishwasher and paid for the installation. Website claims they will *remove* my old dishwasher and *install* my new dishwasher. A team of FOUR could not remove my old dishwasher because they are not "integrated trained", although I removed all of the integrated parts as a courtesy. They offered a refund of the install (£55.00) to which I accepted at the time. It's been two weeks, no refund. No follow up.
I was also mis-sold "express delivery" at £20.00 which I never accepted in person?

Shocking
Shocking. Purchased a range oven with extended warranty. Under warranty the paint has blistered and water marks have appeared. They come out and say that its cosmetic so no we will not do anything. Well it is a warranty issue whether they like it or not. We got no where with the manager of the chap that came out. All the man was interested in was me giving him a good score so he gets his bonus. So the questionnaire comes to which I leave scores but as soon as I mention the issue it then just stops and goes no further. So I try emailing but found Currys do not like to email anymore as they feel its better for communication that its disused. So the option was chat or write. I decided to write a letter then that way it cannot be fobbed off. It takes 16 days to reply. They replied by letter and state they have no record that I purchased an oven from them. I now need to provide more information yet they have failed to give me either an address, telephone number or email or another way to follow up with the information they desire. Now that tells me that they care little about if they actually get this information. They want to make it as difficult as possible to enable me to respond. But they do appreciate and understand how disappointing and inconvenience this problem has been for me. Yet chose to make it even more difficult.

Had a washer dryer installed and they installed it in a way that water is leaking from the pipe and my kitchen floor is full of water. Called the customer service team who were completely unhelpful and said the installation team is looking into the issue however the issue is in my kitchen so not sure how they plan to look into this from their office. Asked for her name and she told me that it is a Currys policy that they aren't allowed to share their name to customers. When I questioned further, she then said it's their manager who has set the policy and refused to share her name

Appalling
Appalling. Bought a TV on 27th June, asked for 'free delivery'. Bad move - should have paid the extra. Information about delivery from DPD was given, the item did not arrive on the stated date. Waiting in for delivery the next day, nothing arrived. Notification given by DPD was useless. Chased with Currys who said the item would be delivered and to wait a bit longer. I did that. Nothing. Initiated a return (even though I'd not got the item) on 4th July was told refund could take 7 - 14 workings days. 14 working days later I'm still being asked to wait as I am still within the specified time limit. When I asked what that time limit was I was told it was 14 working days. Going round in circles here and told to wait. This was all done on Currys online chat. I then called and spoke to a person (hurrah!) who said the item had NOT been delivered back to the warehouse. I guess this review should also go on DPD's page but as I didn't choose the courier it is here on Currys who did. Not happy.

The lady that served us in the Carmarthen store was absolutely brilliant, will look out for her when I'm making a further purchase, she was funny, friendly and very helpful couldn't ask for more.x
Busy manager didn't care
The manager of the store came over to serve me, I wanted to buy an ipad. He disappeared to the store room to see if he had any in stock. I began chatting to a other member of staff whilst he was gone.
He returned telling me that they didn't have any in stock and walked away.
The other member of staff asked me what model I was looking for and informed me they had two in stock. He went to the sto k room and appeared a couple of minutes later with the ipad I wanted, which I purchased.
It's a shame when management are too busy to take an interest in the customers.
