APG&E is the worse electric company to deal with one the market. when paying my bill, I kept getting an error message only to find out APG&E had taken the payment out 4 times and has not made any attempts to issue a refund. I have been given the run around, and when I threatened to leave, they placed a hold on my account. And they still owe me over $400.
The customer service rep I spoke to was very nice. I tend to talk a lot and she was very patient. She answered all my questions, even going above and beyond by reminding me to sign up on the Texas smart meter website since I keep an eye on my usage at least once a week. Very impressed with the service I've gotten so far. Keep up the great work. Thank you
As a new customer of APG&E, I found the enrollment process to be straightforward. Upon receiving my initial bill, I was pleasantly surprised by the user-friendly layout of the statement.
Crooked company. They are putting my electric bill under 1000KwH in order to force me to pay double for my electricity. Customer support has been useless and my support tickets have gone nowhere.
I just signed up with APG&E. Customer service has answered my questions in a timely matter with no long waits. I'm very happy with their rates.
Any time I have to review updating my service agreements for utiliities and auto/property insurance, it is a hassle. My experience making this selection was probably the only time I have ever received clear and knowledgeable answers to my questions about getting the best and most affordable service. Enrolling with APG&E was simple and very minimally time consuming. Looking forward to some real savings.
Every person I spoke to gave me different answers. I saw cheaper prices than what we renewed for. When I questioned them they said they could not see these prices. Then why are they published?
Well I hope it will be good. I have not totally felt as if the process was complete or if I will have any charges like a deposit or something unexpected.
My former provider raised rates so high it was not sustainable.
I am a new customer. Set everything up for auto pay was informed that 1st payment did not go through due to mismatch. The day I was informed payed bill and spoke with customer service about them assessing $30 fee on next bill. Spoke with them today unable to waive fee. So disappointed in lack of customer service.
Good experience - the customer service person was pleasant and efficient. The time required to estimate an account was a few minutes, not the usual years-long experience at other vendors.
This is the best energy company I’ve ever had and I’m 50! I’ve known some bad light companies and some good, but APG&E is the best! Customer service really cares!
Sign-up process was frictionless. Follow-up communications were prompt, detailed, established timeline, and level-set expectations.
Cheapest rate around. Agent even suggested a cheaper plan. On line for 24 months at a killer rate. I feel energy prices are going to continue to go up in the near future. Easy sign-up and easy access to the website.
They couldn’t connect my electricity because it was marking E instead of W and they are charging me for 2 meters on 2 locations and haven’t responded back yet. I’m not paying the other houses electricity I don’t own it
I was attempting to setup new service with APG&E through an online broker (SaveOnEnergy) and was driven to frustration by their intrusive information gathering and so I called them directly. Speaking to them directly was more frustrating and unproductive and so discontinued the conversation. I then called APG&E directly and let them know that the APG&E plan offered by the online broker wasn't showing on the APG&E website. Teresa at APG&E quickly located the plan and set me up at an even better rate. After arranging the credit check she promised a call back to finalize the setup even though we were approaching the end of their office hours. Sure enough, ten minutes after they closed she called back to let me know that we were set to activate the account the next day. I received the welcome package that night and the transfer from my current provider to APG&E service occurred as scheduled. I couldn't be more pleased.
Easy transition from other provider. Knowledgeable and friendly customer representatives.
I registered with APG&E @3pm & canceled @5 on 7/24/26 because the broker said I didn’t have contract with Reliant my current provider, then I found out I DID have 5 year contract & it would cost $400 to leave Reliant so I cancel service with APG&E 2 hours after signing up but now it’s gonna take days to STAY with Reliant, this all SUCKS!!!!
