Wizz Air’s “All You Can Fly” pass is very misleading. After purchasing it, I discovered that I’m unable to book many flights — even ones that appear half empty. There is no transparency about how... See more

Wizz Airline is a scam
Literally still sat at the airport. I have never been through this utter nonsense in my life. £45 per person for check in at the airport. How is this legal. I booked a package holiday through love holiday and should have looked at the airline they choose to fly. Wizz Airline should be shut down. I never even knew they existed until this bitter experience. They messed up my holiday before it even began. I will never fly this airline. If i had a choice I wont return back with them either. Unfortunately, its also been booked. Terrible airline.
Is this a humane service at all?
If there an option for a minus star, I would give it to this airlines, indeed!
OMG! What stories we hear about this terrible airline service from our relatives who travelled to Italy the past week . They were charged £45 each for checkin at airport! They did not have access to online check in as this was a gift to them from us. We could not check in for them as we did not have their passports . This was for their onward journey 30th Sept.
And today on their way back , the desk staff was extremely rude to them all and delayed their boarding so much , with them almost missing the flight! If the son is helping the mother, they should declare the mother to be a medical patient , apparently .
Airline that tricks customers
Everytime I use Wizz air I feel like they try to trap you into paying more.
My boarding passes wouldn’t download online and I booked additional handluggage, which was then denied because it needed to be checked in. Rather than being courteous, I was charged nearly £70 additionally to travel.
Lost £351.77 and no refund
Wizz refused to refund my money even though l paid for a ticket to Tirana. I ended up having to buy another ticket. Very disappointed lost £351.77 and l have not recovered a penny. Trip dot com informed me that they do not refund because of Wizz’s policy. I will never use them again
Price jumped from €89 to €109 right at…
Price jumped from €89 to €109 right at checkout, after I'd already filled in all my details — the site claimed the fare was "sold out." I went back and searched again immediately, and the exact same number of seats was still showing as available. Based on how many other reviews describe this exact same pattern, it's hard not to conclude this is simply how they operate.
On top of that, in my experience their flights are almost always delayed. If you have a tight connection booked afterward, there's a real chance you'll miss it because of Wizz Air's own lateness.
My honest recommendation: pay a bit more and fly with a proper airline instead. Save yourself the stress.
Worst Airline ever!!!
I booked to Cyprus, paid for 3 seats, and extra bags (Arriving & Returning). Wizzair informed me my return flight to Gatwick had changed to Luton. I informed them I could not go to Luton; they rescheduled back to Gatwick, leaving the next day. I made sure to confirm my paid seats, and extra bags were included in the rescheduled flight leaving the next day, which I was reassured all the details would be carried over. I tried to check in the night before leaving but was unable to as my seats were not available. I went to Larnaca airport, assuming I could check in at the desk, but was informed there were no seats available as the airline had overbooked the flight. I had to pay (150 EUR extra) to check in and go on the standby list with no guarantee we would get on the plane or be seated together (two kids under 10). As there were no Wizzair staff, only airport staff, they were limited in the information and just referred us (2 other families also) to the Wizzair site.
Better than it’s competitors
For the price of the tickets I think the company has some benefits like they are way more flexible when it comes to baggage and if you need to change something in the tickets or to cancel them. I say this since I currently had bad XP with another low price company that had way worse policies… for sure i prefer wizzair :)
Lack of communication
Lack of communication. Bird strike caused our flight to be delayed for 6hrs. Appreciate safety is key and i wouldnt want to fly without being sure it was completely safe to do so. However 6hrs! and not one person communicated what was going on! Tap water when say on a 35 degree runway in the plane - does not compensate this!!! oh and a free bitesize shortbread - how very lucky we were. Rubbish - avoid.
Woeful customer service when making a claim
Had to give at least one star otherwise wouldn't have bothered with any. Flights were ok, though our flight home was delayed by over 3 hours. These things happen, but what has been absolutely shocking since then is the claims process, communication and ability or otherwise to speak to someone (I'd take a Chatbot, but even that couldn't help) regarding the now overdue communication and rightful compensation. During an initial call I was told my claim was visible to the customer services assistant - even though I hadn't yet processed the claim, and a second call today - to chase up the payments due which I have been told I am entitled to on my app account - resulted in being told I was not giving the correct email or phone details that matched my booking. The details I gave are the only email address and phone number I have! Talk about infuriating. Next steps, if no joy in response to my call today, is to take legal action as Wizz have recognised I am eligible for compensation - they clearly just don't want to pay it and will do anything to avoid communication by making it so difficult to connect with a human! Really disappointing and sad...
If anything goes wrong do not expect action…
If anything goes wrong do not expect any compensation for delays overnight etc from this Airline they do everything to get out of their legal responsibilities. In my case I am taking the issue to the regulator after a month of useless calls to their helpline
Systems don’t work and steal money
Systems don’t work. Not possible to check in online. €50 fee at airport.
Customer service commits a refund in full.
Then an email saying €42 refund as airport fees outside their control- I don’t care.
Irrelevant as never pay or refund anyway.
Absolutely useless. Fly waits anyone else.
Flight cancelled without notice.
Flight cancelled without notice.
I have checked the flight status and I found the flight was cancelled by Wizz air without any reason. I claimed compensation because I have booked another flight from Malta to France but I lost my money as I couldn’t reach Malta. I was disappointed and not happy with this company.
Poor
I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Wizz Air. Both my outbound and return flights were delayed and ran late, which caused unnecessary stress and disruption to my journey.
What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. Rather than being helpful or understanding about the delays, the customer service felt very poor and the staff came across as dismissive and ignorant of the inconvenience being caused to passengers.
On top of this, there were additional charges for various reasons, which made the overall experience feel like passengers were constantly being charged extra. The lack of clear communication and poor level of service made an already frustrating journey even worse.
I understand that delays can sometimes happen, but it is how an airline handles these situations that matters. Unfortunately, Wizz Air’s customer service and the way passengers were treated left a lot to be desired.
I wish I'd read the reviews on here…
I wish I'd read the reviews on here before booking with Wizz. We were charged £90 for our boarding passes, even though we were at check in before the three hours cut off, which we knew nothing about. The check in person watched me struggle to register and check in online with four minutes to go. I failed to achieve it and they billed us £90. I have never received such heartless service. I won't be flying with them again!
I would rate Wizz Air zero stars if l could…
I would rate Wizz Air zero stars if I could. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received and would not recommend this airline to anyone.
I was travelling back from Milan Malpensa to London Luton with my family on 16 August. We checked in three suitcases, but when we arrived at London Luton, only two of our suitcases were delivered. The third suitcase was missing.
I reported the missing suitcase to the helpdesk at the airport and was assured that I would receive an email explaining what I needed to do next. Unfortunately, I never received any email or communication from Wizz Air. As a result, I had to take matters into my own hands and submit a missing baggage claim through the Wizz Air lost baggage website myself.
Three days later, I received an email from DHL informing me that my suitcase was on its way to me. At this point, I still had not received any communication or update from Wizz Air regarding my missing luggage.
When my suitcase finally arrived on 20 August at approximately 12:55 pm, I was shocked to find that it had been badly damaged. The sides of the suitcase were damaged and parts of it were broken.
I have repeatedly tried to contact Wizz Air regarding this issue, but I have been unable to get through. I am left waiting on hold for extremely long periods without receiving any assistance.
This entire situation has caused considerable stress and inconvenience to me and my family over the last four days. Not only was our luggage lost, but when it was eventually returned, it was damaged.
I expect Wizz Air to take full responsibility for the damage caused to my suitcase and to compensate me for the inconvenience and distress this situation has caused my family. I also expect Wizz Air to replace my damaged suitcase with a suitable new one.
I hope this matter will be dealt with promptly and appropriately. I look forward to receiving a response and a satisfactory resolution to my complaint.

Very disappointed
I really like wizz air but this time a flyght operated by wizz air booked on lastminute application, has been changed from 6,30pm to 8,15 am, making me loose a full day .
The offer refund only for that flyight back and also, I already booked everything on destination.
Disappointed and, if I wanted to wake up that earliy, I would have made reservation on that time on first place
Avoid this airline - Cheap fares but non existent service. when flights delayed/cancelled.
I really do not recommend flying with this airline. When flights are on time and go well they are fine but if there is any kind of issue they simply wriggle out of responsibility. My friend booked a flight on 7th August from Barcelona to Podgorica. After a more than five hour delay with no information they cancelled the flight leaving people to find hotels at 2 am. Dreadful service. They have not provided any explanation for the delay and cancellation but instead when the claim was submitted they have hidden behind 'exceptional circumstances' . I am now going through the courts but be warned - Wizzair has a terrible track record and have been fined previously by regulators. {info available on line} DO NOT FLY WITH THEM. You have been warned.
wizzair Absolute horrendous experience
Absolute horrendous experience never to use them again check in absolute joke £160 out bound, no pre paid booked transfer when landed around midnight with a new broken case & a 7yr old son had to pay a further £40 taxi. return was worse pre paid booked taxi was 25mins late picking us up,now less than 2h for checkin a further £140 to pay then a lot of angry customers who like us checked in online then told we did not check in missed our flight £300 for more tickets & a 13hour wait in the airport missed our pre paid booked coach back a further £120 to get home, from leaving the hotel in the morning it took 24hrs to get home & cost over £500.absolutely disgusting
Wizz scales dont show real kg
They charged me £120 for a luggage that i did weight before i went to the airport and it was 2kg more than i was allowed.
Their scales somehow showed 9kg more and no matter what i said they qouldnt listen
Very dissapointed with what they do to take money of people .
They should be embarrased.
Never ever book any flight from this…
Never ever book any flight from this operator. They mostly cancel or reschedule their flight and then you end up paying higher price later with another flight operator. I've experienced this thrice just this year, and those 3 are the only time I booked or tried booking. Never going to book any Wizz air flight again, even if I've to pay extra with another operator
