It is so nice to find truly free tools on the internet which help get your work done fast. That feels to me like a very good use of the interwebs - sharing tools for free. Thank you QRCodeCreator!

absolute bastards
absolute bastards, with a flawed business concept. They lure 'customers' into a trap and make them pay for a year, with subscriptions being renewed without any timely reminder being sent. As a result, lodging a complaint is by definition too late, and you are obliged to pay for another year

Scam - avoid this website and do not give your credit card
In their "free QR code" marketing (the title at the top of their homepage) QRCodeCreator.com does not make it clear there is a difference between a "dynamic" QR code that will cost $200CA+ a year to keep alive, and a static one that is free. The website guides customers toward creating the dynamic code while obscuring the full information and cost. It's sneaky and unethical. Also, it is not clear that there is no monthly payment option until after one creates a dynamic code.
Had I known, I would have opted for a free static QR code. Unfortunately I have already printed and distributed 100+ flyers with the dynamic code so was forced to pay $214CA to keep the code working for ONE MONTH. Requested a one month subscription and was advized there is not such thing, even though the "Monthly cost" of $19US/mo is quoted on their website pricing page.

They take your money
They took money out of my account after a free -trial with no warning. When I checked the details, they stated the subscription is billed monthly; but a full annual payment was taken from my account. I contacted them about this, never spoke to a real person and they denied the refund without giving a reason. They take your money.

The auto renewal notice went to spam
The auto renewal notice went to spam. I am out of work and the subscription auto renewed. I requested a refund for something that was ‘active’ less than an hour of the auto renewal. The company’s response was polite tone but refused to refund. Buyer beware."
