It is so nice to find truly free tools on the internet which help get your work done fast. That feels to me like a very good use of the interwebs - sharing tools for free. Thank you QRCodeCreator!

[solved] Negative experience once the trail ends.

Edit: problem is solved! Advice for QR-code creator team. Forcing the subscription (because we couldn’t find the free plan) after the trail gives a negative experience with the product. Make it a positive experience. The tracking of everybody who scans the QR-code is very nice! And make monthly subscription possible with yearly if you want a discount.

Original message below.

We used the free trail of 7-days to try the QR-code generator. Yet we made by accident a dynamic QR-code.
Now we need to pay, to use the QR-code. We ordered 250 flyers, that are unusable now. Unless we pay.

Scammy. I was very happy starting with the generator. But now I’m very frustrated.

Now i read that there is a Free Plan if you are using just one QR-code. Tried to reach out, but the chat didn’t bring the solution and we are waiting for a mail response.

Avoid this website! Their QR codes are NOT free!

Avoid this scam website!

I googled for a free QR code generator and this was the top link on the 29th October. Today I received an email from them informing me my QR code woudl expire in 2 days and no longer work unless I signed up to pay a annual fee of over £130 (prices are given in Euros). At no point did it make clear that I was signing up for a free 7 day trial and to keep using it I would have to pay an annual subscription. The whole set up is deliberately misleading with their first email timed for when you're likely to have sent the artwork to print!

I just needed a static QR code NOT a dynamic QR code. I had already sent my artwork to print, but it is cheaper for me to pay for a reprint than pay this annual fee so this is what I am doing.

Avoid using this website or you will be stung with annual ongoing fee to actually use it unless you actually want a dynamic QR code that you can measure and alter the information in links to. I have used other QR code generator websites in the past and they made it very clear what I was signing up and paying for. I do not appreciate being held to ransom like this by deliberately misleading selling tactics.

So I wrote a review saying how easy it…

So I wrote a review saying how easy it was to use this, which is true, but unfortunately as easy as it was, I did not realize my QR code would be expiring unless I paid for it. So now all of the places I created to use the QR code are now broken unless I pay. I will be cancelling my membership and going to the FREE QR code sites.

Dear customer,

Thank you for your earlier feedback on how easy our platform is to use, and for sharing your concerns.

From what you’ve described, it appears you signed up for our 7-day free trial, which allows you to explore all the premium features of QR Code Creator for a week. Before the trial ends, we send email notifications to let users know that their dynamic QR Codes will be paused.

There’s no obligation to move to a paid plan once the trial ends, and there is no automatic charge at the end of the trial period. Your static QR Codes will remain active, while any dynamic QR Codes created during the trial will simply be paused. If you choose to upgrade to a plan later, those dynamic QR Codes will be reactivated. We also offer a free plan that includes up to 10 static QR Codes and 1 dynamic QR Code.

If you’d like assistance or guidance with your QR Codes, please don’t hesitate to reach out at support@qrcodecreator.com; we’d be happy to help.

Best regards,

SCAM

SCAM. When you create a "free" QR code you start a free trial. But after the trial, the code you created stops working, unless you subscribe for at least a year.
I will have to redo all the flyers I printed for an event.
I would have paid a month membership to keep the code working for the one day event, but $100+ for a single code is beyond ridiculous.

Complete Scam!

Scam!! They offer free at the time of generation and then have only annula plan. Also the support is so poor that there is no way of recourse. Unbelievable.

Fast & easy

It was easy to create a code for a website and fast. I had to connect with either email or Google to download the image.
