Phone number listed on Facebook and Trustpilot for this company does not work. They do respond to emails however. Failed collections for seemingly arbitrary reasons (courier could not find property, packaging not to exact specification) and fees for each recollection should be considered before using.

Sent 4 wheels from one depot to a another left with no damage and arrived with paint all over the packaging and all over a wheel. You have to jump through so many hoops to get a claim its not worth it. Do not use this company. I should of read the reviews before I did!!!

Paisley Freight
It’s been long time to arrive my bike it take a week then very bad this courier company I should not recommend this bad service not Happy no contact number to call 😄
destroyed bike frame - get the additional liability or avoid!
would strongly recommend paying for the additional liability up to the full value of shipped goods.
due to extreme force during handling, bike frame was damaged beyond repair with a significant dent in the downtube of a downhill frame (how badly was it handled?!)
If you want your bike to arrive like…
If you want your bike to arrive like it’s just been through a mincer then this is the company for you. I used a dedicated bike box and wrapped the bike within an inch of its life. They managed to deliver it with a good old gouge in the frame. If they put as much effort into delivering than damaging your bike they’d be fantastic. I’m not bothering to claim as I’ve read about their lack of communication and not being able to speak directly to anyone.
Exceptional, World-Class Service! Paisley Freight is in a League of Their Own!
I recently sold my mountain bike to WeBuyCycle, and when I asked for a reliable courier recommendation, they pointed me toward Paisley Freight Courier.
It turns out that was the best advice I could have received! The entire process was absolutely flawless from start to finish.
Booking the collection was incredibly quick and straightforward. What truly sets them apart—and makes them the absolute best in the market by far—is their option to send you a bike box and packing materials ahead of the collection date. It took all the stress out of the preparation!
Why They Are the Gold Standard:
• Lightning-Fast Communication: Their team was exceptionally responsive. Every time I emailed a question, they replied super quickly.
• Unrivaled Reliability: If you look at my other reviews, I have historically had terrible experiences with courier services. Paisley Freight completely shattered those low expectations and stunned me with a level of service I didn't think existed in this industry.
• Stress-Free Process: From doorstep to destination, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism.
If you are looking for a seamless, secure, and professional way to transport your bike, I cannot recommend Paisley Freight highly enough. In my opinion, they are the undisputed market leaders in the UK by a mile.
Well done to the team—please keep up the phenomenal work!
Researched freight companies which take…
Researched freight companies which take road bikes. Paisley Freight looked good. I read their guidelines, and boxed my bike in a soft shell custom bike box. Paid £40 or so extra for insurance to cover the value of the bike. Bike was picked up and delivered fine. A couple of days later, I received an email demand for £20, a fine because my bike had not been 'packed according to Paisley Freight guidelines'. I emailed back, objecting, to be told that the bike should have been wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard!!! Clearly, this would have offered far less protection than my bike box. I refused to pay, and requested to speak on the telephone to a manager. No reply. Requested again. No reply. Total scam merchants - AVOID!
No happy just waste my money
I should not even given 1 star the driver not attending collection and they send missed collection how this company charge extra for rebooking delivery
Not recommended because they not provide phone number to call
A "specialist" bike delivery that doesn't ship standard bike boxes?
Packaged up a bike in a box THAT HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN DELIVERED TO ME BY PAISLEY FREIGHT and courier picked up. Next day I got an email saying the box was 'oversized' (by 3 cm) and I needed to pay a charge that, funnily enough, is the same as the additional they wanted to charge me for a box supplied by them.
The charge is basically a ransom as they made no offer to return the bike to me, just that it would be "held until payment was made".
Disgraceful.
Read the size restrictions!
Paisley Freight advertise bicycle shipping so I would say it's reasonable to assume that a standard bike box used to ship bikes would be within their maximum size. It isn't. I got charged an extra £20 for assuming a bike box would be within the prescribed size, I should have checked of course, but it just seems to me to be some Ryanair style shenanigans to wring a bit more money out of customers. On top of that their courier APC didn't seem bothered by the size at all and delivered the bike before I paid the charge.
AVOID - USELESS ROBBERY COURIER
Booked an collection for 2 tyres and they never turned up and just send me email for missed collection, paid £9.99 for 2nd attempt and same happened. No one turned up on the address, no missed calls, not even look the instructions, absolutely useless robbery courier company. In the end I had to cancel the collection and from £40 I paid, been refunded £20.
Wish I could just use APC directly..
I've used Paisley Freight fairly regularly for years now and whilst overall my experiences are fairly positive (competitively priced and service usually reliable), APC (who they sub all of the work to) probably deserve all of the credit for that. It's difficult to see or say what Paisley freight add, and if anything their involvement only complicates or frustrates things, especially if there are issues. In my experience, things get sorted out much more quickly and easily when I can get talking to APC directly and Paisley are passive at best, and at worst evasive. If I could commission stuff directly with APC, I would.
Excellent experience!
I want to report an excellent experience with Paisley Freight. I bought a mountain bike on Ebay and arranged to have it shipped to me in Scotland from Kent. The price was good, they provided a bike box and packing material, communication was excellent, they did the pick up and delivery exactly when they said they would - despite the wintry weather. Highly recommend!
Avoid!
I ordered a bike from a shop in Stirling, to be delivered to Elgin (about 150 miles north of Stirling) on 24hr delivery. Three days have now passed, no one has been in touch, emailing them has yielded no information other than "it's delayed" (No! Really??). I'm still waiting for someone to tell me, at very least, where my bike actually is.
Abysmal company. Avoid at all costs.
Paid for a wheel collection and the…
Paid for a wheel collection and the driver didn’t even attempt to collect — tapped the wrong door once, stayed about 20 seconds and drove off. I was home and ready. Paisley Freight then tried to charge me a “failed collection fee” for their own driver’s laziness and only issued a partial refund. Totally unacceptable service.
Oversized
Booked order
120 x 100 x20
I received an email stating it was oversized at
110 x 104 x 19
I measured the parcel when entering details and rounded the numbers up to be safe
So was charged extra £20 ontop of the £35 already paid
Update
I asked the customer to measure it when received
110 x 19 x 100
So with the rest of the complaints im guessing their tape measure doesn't work or they are at it
Did arrive safely and on time ,so instead of getting all my parcels from now on they got extra £20 and won't use them again and advise anyone thinking of to go straight to APC who they use

The driver did not come to pick up the package on the agreed day. I paid an extra 20 pounds because I am from Northern Ireland. Also, there is no adequate connection with this possibly fake company.
No collection and added fees. Avoid
The delivery driver never turned up and was supposed to call once arrived and they now want to charge me 9.99 to reschedule collection and so I cancelled the order and they didn't refund me what I paid. Never use this courier
Won't deliver to Northern Ireland
Mustn't do any deliverys to Northern Ireland tried by parcel and by pallet
