Fantastic delivery all round. Organising the delivery was smooth and easy to set up. The delivery itself was efficient and all items arrived in the condition they left. My delivery driver was extremely helpful and helped me along every step of the move. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous service from start to finish! Easy booking system assisted by my email request as it was an awkward item (a big Big Green Egg BBQ and table).Easy to book and pay a deposit. Regular emails with driver contact details. The courier, Usman, was fabulous. Thank you! Left North London at 5:30pm, arrived in Gosforth the following day before lunch. I would absolutely recommend without hesitation. Excellent company!

What an amazing experience from start to finish. The booking of the courier was seamless with communication provided as to exactly who would be doing the activity, including their contact details in case any issues occurred. Notifications were provided of both collection and then progress leading to delivery occurring at the agreed time. The courier was engaging, helpful and pleasant with the activity costing significantly less than the competitors. I will definitely use this company again; well done to a company that actually delivers on their promises !!

From start to finish the process of booking transport to collect an EBay furniture purchase was simple,efficient and more cost effective than hiring a van.

Really impressed with the service from Porta. Gavin was absolutely brilliant, so friendly, helpful and professional. He collected a number of items, including furniture, from my house and delivered them to my mum’s house for storeage as part of a house move, and everything arrived safely and carefully.

Communication was great, everything was handled exactly as promised, and Gavin couldn’t have been more helpful. It made what could have been a stressful part of the move really easy.

Would definitely recommend Porta and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Fantastic service!

Great and reliable service. Allowed me to book for the same day delivery on a bank holiday weekend. Kenneth (the courier) was great and communicated well through the process. Highly recommend!

I paid extra for a "collect today, deliver tomorrow" service for £244.15 because I needed multi-day flexibility for my move. My driver's van broke down at 3 pm, which is an accident and completely understandable. However, when I contacted support, they told me at 3:46 pm: "Don't worry should all be okay, we'll find a replacement."

Because of that explicit promise, I trusted them and didn't look for alternative transport during the afternoon. Porta claims in their response that they "kept me updated," but this is completely untrue. I was the one who had to chase them for answers. They left me in total silence until I had to message them at 6:33 pm to chase them up. You then left me waiting in silence for another two and a half hours.

Out of sheer panic, I was literally about to message again at 9:09 pm when the team finally admitted they had no replacement. Even then, you didn't actually tell me to cancel and find alternatives until 9:24 pm. Advising a stranded customer to look for alternatives at nearly 9:30 pm is unacceptable and left me with zero realistic choices.

Leaving me stranded late at night forced me into a midnight emergency booking with AnyVan that cost me £367.00, an extra £122.85 out of pocket. Because of the last-minute change, I had to accept an inferior same-day service, leave 5 items behind, and completely upend my travel schedule.

Porta's response also claims they offered to arrange a van for Wednesday. This is another complete fabrication to protect their public image. Your agent simply cancelled the job and walked away. I was left entirely on my own.

Finally, you mention offering compensation, but leave out that it was a low-ball £50 that didn't cover the extra expense your delay forced me into. When I tried to compromise in good faith for a fair £90 reimbursement, your team ghosted my emails. If you want to resolve this fairly, you have my email thread regarding the £90 compromise. I am happy to amend this review the moment you honor that amount.

Very reliable,but pricing is a little high

I was in desperate need to move some of my eBay purchases and couldn’t think of how to, then I bumped into Porta. They have made acquiring items over eBay really easy and I’ve used them 4 times in just under 2 months. Delivery service has been great so far and price is reasonable.
