On the southwest coast of England, almost completely surrounded by sea, our home in Cornwall is famous for its windswept cliffs, sandy beaches and rolling hills.
It's where we were founded in 1981, with a little family shop selling workwear and waterproof coats to fishermen and sailors, as well as local artists who chose practical aprons and hard-wearing smocks for long days in the studio.
From the very beginning, we've been passionate about crafting clothing that will be loved and worn for seasons to come, and we're proud of our considered approach. We focus on quality and longevity, using fabrics with organic, recycled and responsibly sourced fibres that are better for people and the environment.
Today, the story of Cornwall's wild landscape and artistic community is still woven through every garment. Each collection is carefully curated to inspire creative, confident dressing, with a range of timeless shapes, rich coastal colours and sizes to fit UK 6 - 28 as well as Petite and Tall.
We hope the clothes we have created will become part of the rhythm of your life and bring joy and beauty to your every day.

Loved the men’s Polo shirts which are cotton and wash at 30 and just hang up to dry and not need to iron.
Found the same with dresses too.
Recommend Seasalt for fast service and quality.

The coat is a great length and it seem…
The coat is a great length and it seem like it will be properly waterproof which is what I really need. The fit seems a little on the large side but then it will be helpful for when I have a jumper on.

Always my first port of call
Always my first port of call for new clothes! My style is their style I guess. Easy to use website with a great collection of beautiful clothes. So well designed, quality materials used and so well finished. The fit is usually spot on I find. Fast dispatch and I like the paper packaging. All good and highly recommended!!

The website is awful
The website is awful. Created a new account to order a dress because I couldn't get into my old account. Ordered the dress, got locked out of the new account even though I entered the correct password. Requested a password reset five times - nothing. No emails. Just like my first account. Yes, I checked spam/junk folder. Can't return dress as can't request a return. Will never order again. ☹️

Always a good experience from Seasalt Cornwall. Website easy to use, photographs online are clear and it is easy to place an order. The quality of the clothing is always excellent - items well made with nice materials and colourful. Delivery service can be a little slow yet reliable.

Disappointed
The jacket I ordered was very poor quality, it looked like a rag when it arrived and in total I paid over £6 for having it delivered and returned! This experience has put me off ordering from Seasalt again.

Janelle waterproof coat
I'm size 14, 5ft 2ins so bought size 14 petite. It fits well, tho the sleeves are a fraction long, I wear gloves in winter so sleeves should be ok. I love the colour even tho it's a little dark, sort of purple with navy. I bought a Janelle coat about 2 years ago and it was a good fit so bought this one, it fits a little bigger than the first so I have to put the poppers at my lower back to the 2nd position (didn't have to do that with the 1st coat) and it's fine. Overall I'm happy with my new winter raincoat. I ordered on a Sunday and it arrived on Thursday.

I never got the dress I ordered and had to be refunded. And it took a phone call and four emails to get there. I love Seasalt but it was a pretty rubbish experience.
