These towels were advertised as luxury towels. What 5 Star Hotels use. I bought. It took about 2 weeks to finally get. They arrived in shrink wrap. I knew immediately after opening that I had been scammed. I read the instructions on how to wash and dry them, but I could tell by the light weight of the towels that there was no way they would plump up and I was right. I am so disappointed. What surprises me is the people who rate them so high. I’ve lost confidence in these reviews when this was clearly a scam supported by high customer review ratings. My advice is to stick to going to a brick and mortar and feel the product for yourself or order through Amazon where you can easily return if you’re dissatisfied.

Towel quality in question
We waited a long time to receive towels like others have reported. After 4-5 washings the only 2 towels we had used, out of a large package, began to develop snags. We were asked send photos, which we did. All we wanted was to return everything and get a refund. Same story as others, $25-$45 to return to China. Onuia’s latest offer (today) is to keep what we have and receive a free 800 GSM replacement offer duplicating our original order. After looking at several reviews here and on other sites, we are contemplating their offer. Our question is, will the quality of the 800 GSM product be any better. We currently have Frontgate towels that are about 1 1/2 years old and are excellent quality still.

"After purchasing what I believed to be…
"After purchasing what I believed to be Egyptian cotton with the Egyptian Pyramid Mark certification.
Ordered Aug. 5th, received Sept. 4th.
On 8/6 I was charged $210.40 stating 7-10 day delivery. It's been over 3 weeks, I've been told I can't refuse and must spend $25 - $45 on your estimated return shipping costs as stated when purchased.
Then, I may have to wait longer than a month to receive my refund.
I purchased believing they were Egyptian cotton based on your site information. When questioned I was told
"they are not Egyptian cotton and do not carry the Egyptian Pyramid Mark certification. They are made from high-quality cotton by experienced textile partners who specialise in high-end production. I have flagged the advertising wording internally so it can be corrected."
Refunds
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you the approval status within10 business days.
- Approved refunds are issued to youroriginal payment methodwithin10 business daysof approval. Your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the refund.
- If you haven't seen your refund within 10 business days of our confirmation email, check with your bank first, then contact us and we'll investigate.
Once I was told they're made in China and did not not hold up to the standards advertized that's when I requested cancellation.
All I wanted was return postage, if they generated it perhaps I could receive my refund when shipped.
Regarding packaging, they were shrink wrapped into 10.5" x 14" x 4". Should I have tried them out as suggested I believe a much larger plastic bag or box requiring ever higher return postage.
Very disappointed.

I ordered 1 Bath bundle with bath…
I ordered 1 Bath bundle with bath sheets and 1 Bath bundle with bath towels They split the order into two separate shipments they arrived about a week apart. The first part of the ordered arrived it was washed as per their instructions. The instructions said that it would help them fluff up. It help a little bit. For the price paid I was expecting a much better quality towel. Here's the problem. Per the return policy once you was the towels to fluff them up they are not returnable. The second part of the order arrived yesterday. To return them you have to pay to ship them back to CHINA.

Second thoughts on my previous critical review
I wrote a review earlier that expressed my frustration with the disconnect between the website's slogan not being consistent with the actual return policy (and that it looks like returns -- to China?! -- are at the cost of the customer, which was an unfortunate surprise). I am writing again just to say that their customer service was very helpful, and very responsive, and we resolved the issue. And I look forward to trying out their towels and bedsheets!

Absolute garbage.

Their products are exceptional (after 1st wash) their delivery system is less so, but they stand behind their products. These are drop shipped from China but are 100% cotton, take several months to get, don't believe their shipping notices till it arrives at your door.
