Hello,

We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations.

However, we would like to clarify a few points. Unfortunately, due to a stock error, the limited edition item you ordered was no longer available from any of our suppliers. As soon as we confirmed this, we contacted you to explain the situation and offered you three options: a store credit, an exchange for another item of the same value, or a full refund.

Once you informed us that you preferred a refund, we processed it promptly and confirmed that it would appear on your original payment method within the usual banking timeframe.

We understand your disappointment, especially for a limited edition item, and we sincerely apologize for this exceptional stock issue. However, we cannot agree with the statement that we refused to refund you. Your refund was processed as soon as you requested it.

We wish you all the best.

Fraudulent shop must avoid!

They pretend to be a store based in Japan but infact its a middle man store based outside of Japan that charges more than the original stores in Japan. They take weeks to order your items that you order and poorly package them and send it across I was charged double than the market rate and felt it was fraud when i realised after order they arent even based in Japan they refused to cancel my order and took 3 weeks to despatch it.

Hello,

We are sorry to read your review, but we would like to clarify several incorrect statements.

First, JAPANDCO is genuinely based in Tokyo, Japan. We are a Japanese company and all of our orders are prepared and shipped directly from Japan. We do not use any intermediary or third-party fulfillment service.

Regarding the shipping delay, your order included pre-order items. As clearly stated on our website, an order containing pre-order products cannot be shipped until all items are available. This is why your order was dispatched only after the release of the last pre-order item.

As for our prices, they are displayed transparently before purchase. They reflect not only the product itself but also the sourcing, handling, international logistics, and customer support that we provide. Customers are, of course, free to compare prices before placing an order.

Finally, we regret that you describe our business as "fraudulent." We have been serving collectors worldwide for many years, and we always strive to provide transparent information and reliable service.

We wish you all the best.

Not trustable people

Preaordered some collectable card game. 2 days before sending they cancelled my order "due to low stock". What happened was that the price of the boxes went up,so they cancelled my order and now they are selling singles in their store at crazy prizes. So, no boxes for my order (two boxes), but enough boxes to open and sell the singles. Just greedy and unprofessional. Now customers cant get cards at a reasonable price because of their bad practice.

Hello,

We are sorry that you were disappointed by this situation.

However, we would like to clarify a few important points.

Due to an unexpected allocation issue, one of our display suppliers was unable to provide the quantities initially confirmed. Faced with this shortage, we made the decision to reduce orders containing multiple boxes so that as many customers as possible could receive at least one display instead of cancelling all affected orders.

In your case, your order was therefore partially fulfilled, and you did receive one display.

We would also like to address the claim regarding the single cards sold on our website. These cards do not come from the same supply chain as our sealed displays and were not obtained by opening products originally intended for customer orders. They are sourced through a separate distribution network dedicated to singles.

We understand your frustration at not receiving the full quantity ordered, especially for a highly sought-after product. However, we cannot agree with the suggestion that orders were cancelled in order to benefit from rising market prices. This is simply not how we operate.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the supplier's shortage and appreciate your understanding.

Hello,

We are sincerely sorry that we had to cancel your pre-order and understand how disappointing this must have been, especially for such a highly anticipated release.

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected allocation issue from one of our suppliers, we did not receive the quantity of products originally confirmed, forcing us to cancel some pre-orders and issue refunds.

We understand your frustration. However, we would like to clarify that the cancellation was not related to market prices, but solely to this unforeseen supply issue.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback.

We completely understand your comment regarding the shipping cost. Since all our orders are shipped directly from Tokyo, Japan, international shipping can indeed represent a significant part of the total cost, especially for a single figure.

This is also why we generally recommend combining two or three figures in the same order whenever possible. In most cases, adding one or two extra figures only slightly increases the shipping cost, making the overall cost per item much more attractive.

We are glad to hear that, aside from the shipping cost, you were satisfied with your experience. We hope to have the pleasure of serving you again in the future.

Excellent customer service and very fair prices.

I was searching the whole web for very specific figurines. They not only had all I needed, but provided them for very reasonable prices (including parcel costs).

Super responsive and kind customer service. Was a little worried about the no refund policy, but I would order always again there if I needed something.
