I elected to set the 50 inch Smart TV up myself after I unpacked it. There's a droning voice telling me what to do. It's still there now after trying everything to get rid of it. Everything goes thr... See more

Faulty From New, Failed Repairs and Some of the Worst Customer Service I've Experienced
I purchased the Hisense HS693A90XADUK Full Size Dishwasher expecting a reliable appliance from a well-known manufacturer.
Unfortunately, it has been one of the worst purchases I have ever made.
From the very beginning, the dishwasher failed to clean dishes properly and the drying performance was consistently poor. We followed all of the manufacturer's guidance, used the recommended programmes, cleaned the filters, loaded the appliance correctly and carried out every troubleshooting step requested. Nothing resolved the problem.
What followed has been months of frustration.
Hisense repeatedly requested photographs and information, which I supplied on numerous occasions.
There were delays in responding, emails that went unanswered and repeated chasing on my part simply to move the claim forward.
Eventually, engineers were arranged through Pacifica.
Despite multiple engineer visits, the appliance has never been repaired successfully. Following one repair attempt, the dishwasher actually became worse and developed a further fault, leaving it completely unusable.
The latest engineer visit summed up the entire experience. The engineer attended without the correct replacement part, meaning no repair could even be attempted. I had taken time away from work to be available for the appointment, only for it to be completely wasted because the correct part had not been supplied.
The customer service has been equally disappointing.
In particular, Emma, who dealt with my complaint, provided what I consider to be a very poor level of customer service. During one conversation, I was advised that my case would be reviewed with senior colleagues and that I would receive an update by email within a couple of hours. No update was ever received. Despite further emails from me chasing the matter, no meaningful response or follow-up was provided.
Making promises to customers and then failing to honour them only adds to the frustration and gives the impression that customer concerns are simply not being taken seriously.
Over the course of this complaint I have:
Sent numerous emails and photographs.
Chased unanswered correspondence.
Taken time off to attend multiple engineer appointments.
Endured repeated failed repair attempts.
Been left with a dishwasher that is now completely unusable.
At every stage I have cooperated fully, yet I have been left without a satisfactory resolution.
A premium appliance should not fail from new, and a manufacturer should stand behind its products when things go wrong. Unfortunately, my experience with both this dishwasher and Hisense's customer service has been extremely poor.
I have now completely lost confidence in the HS693A90XADUK and, based on my experience, I would not recommend either this dishwasher or Hisense's after-sales support. The product has been unreliable from the outset, and the handling of my complaint has fallen well below the standard I would expect from a major manufacturer.
I am also a Which? subscriber and will be reporting my experience to Which? so that they are aware of the standard of product quality and customer service I have received from Hisense. Consumers rely on independent organisations such as Which? when making purchasing decisions, and I believe it is important that my experience is shared as part of that assessment.
I hope Hisense takes this feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements to both the reliability of its products and the standard of its after-sales support.
Pleasantly surprised
Firstly, I was surprised by how easily the TV (43A7QTUK) and how effectively it reacted with my preexisting Roku Streambar. Very impressed with both the blacks of the picture and the necessary brightness. I am still, as an inquisitive octogenarian, I am enjoying checking out the various settings available. Also impressed, in these days of extortionate power charges by the privatised electricity suppliers, the frequent reminders that changing picture settings may lead to extra energy use!
Poor quality 32 inch TV sound
Purchased a 32 inch TV in May for bedroom. Sound has been terrible. When Customer service did respond to this raised issue ( I had to remind) they told me to carry out tests. Sound 'failed'. Their response oddly was that picture was fine! When I pointed out sound was the issue that told me it is mounted too close to wall then ( they had no evidence ).
Stated they would not assist further. Wrote polite email to CEO asking for intervention which is not even acknowledged
Poor quality product and even poorer customer support. Would never buy Hisense again
Good price and quality
Good price and quality. Still
Finding my way around the way it works.
Overall I’m pleased with it so far.
New 43 inch QLED 4K TV
my new 43 inch QLED 4k TV is very good, easy to set up when opened and to use your product, my picture and sound quality are excellent.
keep up your good work Hisense.

Warranty refused despite serial number – robotic customer service
I received a Hisense 58A7GQTUK TV as a Christmas gift in December 2024, brand new. After about 18 months of normal household use, it developed a fault.
I don't have the original receipt because it was a gift, and I cannot contact the person who gave it to me – they have permanently moved to Australia. However, I provided the serial number, production date, and a clear photo of the label on the unit.
Hisense UK has repeatedly refused my warranty claim, insisting on a proof of purchase I simply cannot obtain. When I pointed out that they themselves stated "the production date is unrelated to the purchase date," they then used the production date to claim my TV is out of warranty – completely contradictory.
I escalated to a manager (Shawn, Customer Support Team Lead), who gave me a polite but ultimately unhelpful response, still refusing to help.
The most frustrating part of this experience was dealing with their support representative, Anna. Every response from her was a copy-paste template – completely identical wording, over and over again. She never addressed any of the specific points or questions I raised. It felt like talking to a robot, not a real person. I sent detailed emails explaining my situation, and each time I received the exact same generic reply asking for a receipt I had already told her I cannot provide.
I chose Hisense for my family to enjoy watching the World Cup together. It is deeply disappointing that a well-known brand would hide behind paperwork and robotic customer service rather than stand behind its product.
Date of experience: December 2024 – July 2026
Tip for other consumers: If you receive a Hisense product as a gift, be warned – without a receipt, your warranty is essentially worthless. And don't expect a meaningful conversation from their support team.
Rude customer service
1 star is too many stars! I’d rather give this company a negative star review but that’s impossible. My mother bought a tv which turned out to have been faulty due to the remote control (as I read afterwards, this is now common), they have taken a month to determine that it was indeed faulty but are in wanting to return the TV to my mother so she can exchange it. The customer service isn’t great either. They told my mother they still had the TV when she had received an email to say it was on its way back to her.
1 month on from returning the TV to the shop under warranty, Hisense still haven’t done what they said and my mum has missed the World Cup and paid for steaming services without the need.
When asked to speak with a manager, the service representative said “no. There are no managers” without an alternative option of resolution. She was so blunt with my mother than my mother was in tears. The representative didn’t appreciate the return of favour as she hung up, clearly can’t take what she dishes out. She even had the nerve to say “don’t speak over me” while speaking over me constantly. How stupid must you be to ask someone to not do something you’re doing then hang up because it’s cause ld anger! Clearly a member of the token power club. Maybe Hisense should remember that their customers find their pay and aren’t servants!
My mum was still in tears after the call due to the rude staff and she still doesn’t understand why it’s taken so long to get a response. Maybe a lawsuit will help switch on a brain or two in the company or at least develop some form of common decency?
I bought a Hisense oven and it died…
I bought a Hisense oven and it died just after the 2 year warranty. My Dad has an oven in his house working for 50 years. I don't expect this oven to last as long, but 2 years is ridiculous. Now that this has happened to me I'm seeing terrible reviews everywhere and I am sorry I didn't look at them before buying the oven. So here's my advice - avoid. Save yourself the heartache.
DONT BUY
Took delivery of washer 18/04. 12/07 it stopped mid cycle called service centre 13/07 engineer came today 17/07 but with wrong microchip board. Due to waiting for correct board centre it will be 31/07 before repair attempt two. 3 weeks with a washing machine in this heat after only 3 months usage crazy and unacceptable.
First time a washer has ever packed up on me
Great products.
First got the Hisense TV as we had bought a Samsung TV from Curry's that broke within two weeks of purchase and they had no replacements in stock so took the Hisense as an an alternative, so glad we did.
Easy to set up, one remote so simple and easy to do.
Just recently had a new kitchen installed and now have bought a Hisense washing machine and under counter fridge.
The washing machine is so quiet, spin noise is almost hardly noticeable compared with the old washing machine we had, fridge the same.
Nice sleek designs, not big and bulky like the others.
Not just one but two years warranty on both items.
So far very happy with my Hisense purchases, perhaps not the cheapest available on the marketplace but are good value for money in my opinion.
Great fridge
Great fridge. Plenty of space and excellent temperature control.
Brand new washing machine ordered from AO.COM
Brand new washing machine ordered from AO.COM. AO not interested that there is a fault passed us to Hisense. The fault logging system for Hisense is clunky and forces you to subscribe to the newsletter. Once completed and having to upload 4 images and also type in a very lengthy serial number the form disapears into the ether with no reference number or anything that can be used to prove a fault has been raised. Have done this four times now and no contact from Hisense at all. Terrible service and faulty product from new so questionable quality,
Hisense 43” tv with freely
What a great television easy to set up with built in freely so no need for aerial
Tumble dryer short lifespan
I bought a Hisense tumble dryer in February 2024 and it stopped working in June 2026. We are a family of 4 and we do a combination of air drying clothes along with tumble drying so I would state the machine has had moderate use. At the purchase price of £599 I do not believe the product represents good quality or value. I submitted a complaint 7 days ago via the Hisense website which has not even been acknowledged. Based on my experience of this brand I would not recommend.
HhS2000 soundbar
HhS2000 soundbar. With 43" LG tv and sky Q. Poor instructions, thanks utube. Voice confirmation poor, no on screen visuals (matching hisense tv ?). Led's on front panel unclear remote cheap and doesn't respond well. I have given 4 stars because for the price the sound quality is good ,I suspect my LG tv not best pairing.i may look at Hisense tv if LG gives up.
Great product
The product is quality I live in open plan the fridge freezer is so quite I have had others in the past that you could hear would absolutely recommend Hisense
3rd break in less than a year, radio silence
Our dishwasher door has broken for a 3rd time.
Each time before, repairs were organised immediately and were fixed within days.
Once I mentioned we need a replacement, radio silence… now just left with a less than year old unusable dishwasher. What a joke.
