Think very carefully before buying Beko

⭐ 1 STAR – EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH BEKO
I would strongly advise anyone considering buying a Beko appliance to think very carefully about the level of reliability and, equally importantly, the customer service you may receive when something goes wrong.
We purchased an integrated Beko larder freezer, which developed a fault after a relatively short period and stopped freezing properly. An engineer attended, but the problems continued and Beko eventually replaced the appliance.
Unfortunately, the replacement appliance has now developed essentially the same problem within just nine months. We have once again lost food because the freezer was not working properly.
What has been even more frustrating than the appliance failure has been Beko's customer service. Trying to get through to someone takes an unreasonable amount of time. We were directed to live chat, which did not provide a response, and despite explaining that we needed an urgent appointment because food was being spoiled, we were unable to obtain the urgent assistance we needed.
To add insult to injury, we were offered just £20 as a goodwill gesture. Considering the repeated failures, spoiled food, inconvenience, time spent dealing with customer service and the fact that we have had to deal with essentially the same problem more than once, we find this offer completely inadequate.
We should not have to repeatedly chase a manufacturer to resolve a problem with an appliance that has failed again and again. We expected Beko to take responsibility and provide a proper solution.
This has been an extremely stressful and disappointing experience. In my opinion, the combination of repeated appliance failures and the poor after-sales service has seriously damaged our confidence in Beko.
I am posting this review so that potential customers can make an informed decision before purchasing a Beko appliance

Had a beko washer that lasted over 15…

Had a beko washer that lasted over 15 years , then I bought this thing in sept 25 .
On average every 3 washers ,the machine pauses at the 15min remaining time ,you then unpause it, the. It starts the rinse cycle again - then low & behold it pauses again at 15 mins ,
We have to manually turn the control button to drain & rinse.
I already regretted buying the machine, but then when it was 11 months old , it stopped working while full of clothes & water
Engineer came out , it needs a new control board . Guess what , no parts available for 2-3 weeks . Beko customer services are useless , I have cancer & just had an operation to remove a major organ from my body. So I need to wash my bedding 5 times a week , asked beko for a replacements washer under medical grounds , but no chance. Beko told me to speak to curry’s, as I bought the machine from them.
Currys told me I had to get an uplift number from beko before they could replace the machine . Spoke to beko again & they said they could not give out uplift or authorisation numbers to customers not even on medical grounds
Please think twice before buying

Shameless and devious charlatan's and rip-off merchants, flogging insurance for their substandard appliances.

When I installed the dishwasher, every time the machine drew-in water from the mains supply, there was a very loud, high-pitched squeal and squeaking sound.

When I asked 3 separate so-called ‘advisors’, I may as well have asked my dog for his opinion; for they knew absolutely nothing.

In fact they knew less than nothing; what an absolute sham and a shameless disgrace.

All they were focussed upon or interested in was flogging me insurance.

What has become of this country?

Money, money, money….thats all you care about, isn’t it?

You couldn’t give one damn about me, the customer; all you care about is how much more money you can screw out of me.

I am not at all impressed.

They ‘kindly’ booked in an engineer for me.

The only problem is, the engineer would have accused me of not installing the dishwasher ‘properly’, then subsequently would have charged me £75.00 for the privilege of turning down a lever 3 degrees, to fix the problem.

In reality it is a manufacturer’s problem and a design fault.

The problem?

The inlet vale for the water supply pipe was fully opened and the pressure from the mains water was causing the machine to squeal and squeak.

My point is, why did none of the 3 advisors know of this problem or the solution?

Also, why is this ‘fact’ not mentioned in the installation manual?

Your so-called advisors are clearly not qualified to call themselves advisors.

It’s a bloody insult and a disgrace.

You were intentionally trying to rip me off.

All these advisors were focused on was flogging me insurance.

Are your products so poorly designed, built and manufactured, you think it’s a good idea for me to shell out even more money to compensate for your shoddy machines, poor design and workmanship?

What an utter disgrace.

How do you lot sleep at night?

With a smug smile on your face and a bulging bank balance?

If I had the time, I would take you court and sue the living daylights out of you.

You lot are one of the reasons why I hate modern society.

Every day I wake up and think to myself:

“So, who’s going to try and rip me off today?”

Nice try…..but you failed.

!EFFING WA##ERS!

You really couldn’t give a s##t about me, could you?

I am really not impressed!

Have a beko DIN15x20 integrated…

Have a beko DIN15x20 integrated dishwasher I have had a year this month (sept), purchased from Currys (Belfast forestside)

Recently the machine on initial start up of a cycle began to generate a loud grunting noise which resonated through my kitchen to the point you couldn’t be in it, this would also happen intermittently through the cycle which would indicate a possible pump issue, however it has now stopped making the loud noise in question which is a little concerning

Went to Currys on 29th August, spoke to a helpful employee who rang Beko uk and made an appointment for my machine to be inspected which was today 4th September

Technician Chris came out for the appointment which I had to have my father present at the house due to not able to get out of work

A while later my father rang me asked what the issue was again which I explained and would I like to talk to technician Chris which I said no bother

During the call I discovered from the information Chris was telling me that he ran a cycle with my unit and determined no issues found and to leave things at that.

I asked Chris would he not even carry out a few basic checks to which I was told no, I explained that I also come from a technical background in my own line of work and if a few basic check are possible it would be fit to do so, anyway got into a little bit of a debate with Chris and asked how this will affect my warranty which also runs out this month.

I asked if this issue happened again and if outside my warranty will I be able to ask for another call out because it would be a reoccurring issue, I was told he didn’t know

So I decide to do some research of my own and found it is indeed a pump I hear on initial start up and at different intervals through the cycle (drain pump)

I decided when I got home I would remove the metal screen at the base of the inside of my dishwasher inspect for myself, The metal screen also has a fine mesh filter attached on the opposite side

Once removed I found what can only be described as a long thin white plastic hook/catch which has rough wear marks around it which would indicate to me this is the possible culprit that has been causing my issue and would have been lodged in my drain pump and has now dislodged itself

The hook/catch is too large to bypass the filter screen let alone a fine mesh filter and to me this would indicate this would have had to have come from the opposite side which would be internal of the machine to be able to reach the point it was found.

This just goes to show what I was asking and proves my point, if some basic checks are able to be carried out then you may as well go cover the basics

I feel the technician Chris just couldn’t have been bothered and wanted an easy touch and also trying to make a fool out of myself by trying to make out I didn’t know what I was talking about

So Beko uk if you read this I would like to be contacted and told exactly what’s going to be done about this issue and also what’s going to happen about my warranty and unit for that matter if I do run into anymore problems outside of it

We've had the washing machine for 4…

We've had the washing machine for 4 weeks and so far, so good. The positives with the machine are: it is very quiet and enables you to do a 60 degree wash in an hour, with a full load - most other machines don't allow you to do this.
Happy with the machine, here's hoping it lasts me more than a year! Would recommend to any potential buyer, at present.

Beko EnergySpin™ BM3WT3841W 8kg Washing…

Beko EnergySpin™ BM3WT3841W 8kg Washing Machine with 1400 rpm - White - A Rated
Received a brand new Beko washing machine model 2 days ago from AO.com and honestly it's useless.

You cannot load it 3/4 as the spin cycle won't work properly and a 2.5hr cycle ends up lasting more like 4hrs.

I've had to contact Beko for an engineer to come out, my next available date is in 1 week. The phone call itself was tiresome, trying to sell me insurance and washing products.

I may have to pay an engineer fee of £75 depending on what the error is and a further £150 if it needs repairing, again depending on the issue.

I was looking forward to a brand new washing machine having had my Hotpoint for almost 10 years, I should have stuck to that brand!

I am happy with my new fridge in…

I am happy with my new fridge in general. Opening it by the top of the door makes it feel like you might pull it over with the suction on the door. The temperature control knob is on the ceiling inside and easily gets knocked when putting items on the top shelf, which then warms the fridge up. No issues with the ordering or delivery.

Absolute joke

Absolute joke. Engineer came out to replace a part but didn't have the tools to remove the parts. Ended up having to wait and eventually had to have a replacement.

The engineer was very rude which ended up making my son with complex needs upset. This in turn caused over 10k of damage to my house and contents where he got so upset he smashed everything in sight. I had to have the replacement but in future at all costs avoid Beco

Shirley's Cooker

The cooker is very nice and on the whole I am happy with it. BUT the clock loses time easily and I feel that the element in the grill is a little too close to the front of the cooker making it rather hot to set the timer.

This is my second Beko dishwasher

This is my second Beko dishwasher. If you want just a basic integrated dishwasher this is it. So reasonable compared to other integrated dishwashers. It was actually cheaper to buy this rather than get the old one fixed!!

Beko washing machine

The machine is quiet and the controls are easy to use. The clothing at speed 1400 are not to wet and can go straight in the tumble dryer or on the line outside. I am so far happy with my choice.
