Don't waste your time let alone money. Scammers galore. Horrible customer service. Zero accountability.

One day I opened the app and my profile was completely replaced with some 18yo bimbo. Like wtf? I deleted my profile

I was a Happn user for more than three years, and I can honestly say this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had with any company.

The app itself has long-standing problems. It repeatedly showed me people I had already dismissed, resurfaced profiles I had already declined, and even placed people into my chats without my approval. I reported these and other bugs multiple times over the years, yet nothing ever seemed to get fixed.

My second concern is security. Throughout my time on the platform, I encountered numerous fake profiles and obvious catfish accounts. I reported them because I wanted to help make the community safer. Despite those reports, the problem persisted.

The final straw was when Happn suddenly blocked my account without warning.

When I contacted customer support, I wasn't told what I had actually done. Instead, I received a generic template listing possible reasons accounts might be suspended, including fake photos, false information, scams, explicit content, inappropriate behavior, and more.

Not one of those reasons applied to me.

Every photo on my profile was an original photo of me. My profile information was truthful. I wasn't promoting anything, running multiple accounts, or violating their Terms of Use.

I replied point by point, explaining why none of the listed reasons applied and repeatedly asked a simple question:

What specific policy did I violate?

No one would answer.

Instead, after multiple emails, Happn changed its explanation. First I was told my account violated the Terms of Use. Then I was told it was suspended as a "preventive security measure." Shortly afterward, I was informed that my account had been permanently deleted and could never be recovered.

Still no explanation.

Still no evidence.

Still no investigation.

Still no meaningful appeal.

The most frustrating part wasn't losing my account. It was the complete lack of transparency and accountability. If you're going to permanently delete someone's account, you should at least be able to explain why and identify the specific rule that was violated.

Trust is the foundation of every dating app. Users are expected to trust the people they're matched with, trust the platform to address fake accounts, and trust customer support to investigate problems fairly.

Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite.

I can forgive software bugs.

I can forgive honest mistakes.

What I cannot forgive is a company that refuses to explain its decisions, refuses to investigate legitimate concerns, and permanently deletes a customer's account without providing any evidence of wrongdoing.

After three years, I can no longer recommend Happn.

Three days ago I took the misguided step of signing up to Happn dating site, puzzlingly recommended on one list as good for introverts. It turned out to be completely useless (not one single profile to match with in the South American country where I spend part of each year). I explained to difficult-to-reach customer service (accessed via the kindness of Hapn GPS, a completely different company) that I cannot keep my UK mobile and location open all the time while abroad. I requested a refund which is so far not forthcoming. I feel Happn is fraudulent. This review is unsolicited.

Unfair and disappointing. Never had any issues in the past. I recently reactivated my account and was banned immediately afterward without any explanation. Support tells me I was reported as a "fake profile," even though all my photos are real. The worst part? They are asking for my ID to prove myself! It is unacceptable that abusive reports (probably from bots or haters) force users to hand over their personal data. I refuse to give in to this blackmail; I am deleting the app, which is now completely useless. Avoid at all costs.

Total waste of time - I allegedly had 100+ likes / crushes but not a single one of them actually replied to a message...all I said was "hi xx how are you" nothing too off-putting. I had zero conversations let alone actually meeting anyone.

The app stopped working properly for me after just a few days of signing up.

Fake app. They will show there’s a lot of likes and you must pay to view them. Once pay you’ll know that it’s all bot. Cheated my money!

It's early days yet but my experience with J1Live.com has been much better. I will go with the flow and see what happens next, but for now I am happy meeting girls for real (offline) via this platform. When you are a free trial member on Happn, they flood you with computer-generated messages so you think they have a large pool of people. But they just want you to pay for membership. There is no continuation to that correspondence. They don't care what happens after you have paid.

Encourages you to pay to view likes, but people from different countries mainly, don’t waste your money

Full with scammers!!!!!!! Even the developers know it's not worth it really!!!!! Stock market, porn, etc.... Real people really wanted to meet real woman's and no chance.... Ai bot or fake account..... Makes this app the s**** f**** in world!!!

Happn is 100% fraud. Minus 10 stars.

If I could give 0 stars I would I wish there was negative stars as a option I would recommend any other company I have multiple devices and they told me I have to pay for multiple subscriptions 1 for each tracker it’s outrageous and when you buy multiple trackers from them they don’t tell you you will have to pay multiple subscriptions till you try to activate them it’s a huge waste of money

I had technical issues and reached out for support several times. Every time, I got a reply regarding something totally different. Like a really lousy AI or something….
I ended up deleting my account. Not coming back.

The app itself is useless - a ghost city with maybe a handful of real people. It's early days yet but my experience with J4Kiss.com

Scammers and prostitutes, mostly. Not worth your time. The idea is great: meet people who go to the same places - coukd indicate mutual interests. But it’s full of women who advertise themselves for sex or massage, and scammers. What a waste of potential.

They promised locals but none are within 50 miles

This app is pure extortion.
The pay wall set up is terrible.
From what I thought was free chats turned into a couple hundred in the space of an hour. You get so many chats before having to pay.
And if you want to see other pics you need to pay.i find it disgusting. You cant even put locations in to meet a match without getting your conversation blocked.

This is a scam site. I have spent $80 on here.
And every time I tried to give this girl, I have been talking with my number park, a location to meet up you block it. And I gave you eighty dollars for 2 people to hook up and make a connection and which we like each other through the conversations that we've talked so far, and I looked at a lot of the. Reviews about this site and a lot of it's bad he. Refused to give back their money he. Refused to get back with him. And talk about a problem.
That some of these are fake women out here that don't exist on here, just yeah. Pictures of them that you're never going to meet
