This company will rip you off. They employ the smooth-talking salesperson who will sit you down and present you with two options. Take the car without the extra insurance and face near certain extortionate repercussions or pay the additional fee and everything goes away. You don’t even need to fill the tank on return, which would probably explain why our tank was less than half full on pick up! We were walked out onto a car lot with no lighting and were instructed to use our phone torch to take photos of the car (once we had downloaded the app and uploaded the X amount of photos required – which was also timed!) In short, we were heavily pressured to take out their insurance which cost us an additional £250 on top of the £200 already paid. We were threatened. Told we had to bring the car back spotless inside and out, otherwise they would charge us for the clean. Said they would keep our £3000 deposit for three months. Any mark on the car would be paid for by at an extortionate rate. Told our separate insurance would not be accepted. I would never book with this company again. I am sure the positive reviews on this site are fake. The whole place is geared up to scam customers. After the rental period, we were pressured to leave a positive review. A month later, we got an email telling us they had a data breach and all our personal data was ‘stolen’.

Nu sunt serioși, iar serviciile oferite clienților sunt foarte proaste! În realitate, mașinile sunt foarte avariate. Nu veți primi ceea ce ați ales pe site; de cele mai multe ori, vi se vor „băga pe gât” mașini zgâriate sau cu diverse probleme, inclusiv parbrize deteriorate.

Faceți poze și filmați mașina în momentul în care o preluați, pentru a avea dovezi. În caz contrar, riscați să rămâneți fără depozit și să vi se pună în cârcă daune care nu vă aparțin.

Din experiența mea, nu recomand această firmă!

They are not professional, and the customer service is extremely poor! In reality, the cars are heavily damaged. You will not necessarily receive the car you selected on the website; instead, you may be given a scratched or damaged vehicle, including cars with damaged windscreens.

Make sure you take photos and videos of the car when you pick it up so you have evidence of its condition. Otherwise, you risk losing your deposit and being charged for damage that was already there.

Based on my experience, I strongly do NOT recommend this company!

My experience with the rental service at Klass Wagen Lisbon was terrible when comes to the customer service. Additional to the normal and expected push for the up-sale, the horrendous costumer service just went from bad to really bad. At this point a number of fees that had not been disclosed at the time of the rental were brought up as a threat for not accepting the up-sale. When I asked for an explanation on the fees, I got this gentleman, entitled as the assistance manager, named Ruben with an unknown last name because he refused to give as like he was hiding it.
He denied to explain any of the fees and simply said that these are all normal and self explanatory, and to end the conversation he said that if did not want it I did not to have to rent the car.
At this point I thought about not proceed with the rental so I enquire about get them to shuttle me back to the airport, where I was picked up from, which I was denied. So here I am with my son and my wife, being treated poorly by the this gentlemen, in a foreign country stranded in a weird industrial location with a decision to make, whether call a cab to take back to the airport that I did not know where it was or accept the conditions of the is rental that add not been disclosed completed.
As a final note I was given a 10euro voucher to compensate for the gasoline I had overfilled the car with beyond the amount I had picked up the car with. However, when I picked up the car they told me that they would refund me with any difference on gas tank but never told me that this refund was by the means of voucher. What am I supposed to do with this voucher when I will diffidently never use this company again.

Overcharged!
Don't book cars through third-party companies. Because after you arrive at Klass Wagen, you will be overcharged anyway, especially if you are from North America. They will ask you for an international driving licence (if you don't have one, you will have to pay for additional insurance). Does insurance make your driving licence more international? They have many tricks to charge you more, such as driving abroad fees. Driving to a neighbouring country in Europe is already considered an 'abroad trip'. Autobahn tolls and lots of other things.

It was frustrating that the costs for the rental car weren't clearly explained on the airline's website, but the rental company representative answered our questions, and we received a very nice car that we were very happy with. The booking process was very easy and quick. The rental process was very easy and quick. Important: You must have a credit card with you.

Easy pick up, with shuttle to the rental place. Helpfull staff, that are honest about insurance and depositum. Remember a credit card and not a debit that I did. It will ease the rental process.

Verry polite staff. Realy enjoied talking to them.

At arrival there was a very useful automated system to let them know I am waiting for the transfer car, and the driver was very nice.
The car pick-up was made unneccesarily difficult by the young representative. He insisted beyond measure regarding they insurance. Even though I made it very clear that I am not interested to purchase this product several times, the representative kept insisting. He made me very uncomfortable, to the point that I was wondering if this car is in a suitable condition to drive.
Also he said I should take pictures of the car, which is normal, but he did not make me aware that I should upload the pictures to the Klass Wagen website. All in all, a really poor experience at pick-up. For reference, you should respectfully tell the customer their options, briefly re-iterate your damage policy, and accept the customer's decision.
At drop-off a different representative was brilliant - made the process easy, and fast, and was respectful.
The car was ok, what you'd expect from a rental, clean and relatively new (Citroen are a bit rubbish, not the rental service fault).
Thanks, I will think twice before renting with Klass Wagen again - at least at the Cluj Napoca airport branch.

Everything Fine

Patience to solve problems created by difficult traffic, delays in baggage delivery and lack of consistency at Otopeni Airport. This allowed safe recovery and travel afterwards.

The new location is harder to get to, but that is not the biggest issue. What is truly disappointing is the complete dehumanisation of customer service.

Trying to reach someone by phone has become an ordeal. First, you have to listen to a long automated message and press countless buttons, only to eventually be told that all staff are busy and that someone will call you back. When? Nobody knows. In an hour? Tomorrow? Next week? It certainly feels that way.

Whether you have a problem, a delay, or even an emergency, you simply cannot reach anyone when you actually need help.

To be fair, once you are on site, things are quite different: the staff are friendly and helpful, and the fleet is excellent. But for a service company, being unable to communicate with your customers is a serious issue.

The cost savings achieved by “modernising” customer service in this way may look good on paper, but in the long run, this kind of impersonal service is likely to drive customers away. Good service is not just about the cars — it is also about being there when your customers need you.

Very nice staff and services, very nice cars.

What made the experience great was the excellent customer service, friendly and professional staff, and the smooth rental process. Everything was explained clearly, the car was clean and in good condition, and the pickup and return were handled efficiently. The staff was helpful and responsive throughout the rental, which made the entire experience easy and stress-free. I would definitely rent from Klass Wagen again and recommend them to others.

I've been back to Klass Wagen Iași twice now and had a very positive experience both times. Both cars I had were in good shape and well maintained. Sebastian was extremely friendly and helpful, he made the drop off experience very easy. I haven't met a single staff member working there that I didn't like. Would definitely recommend Klass Wagen to friends and family!

Very good experience with Klass Wagen ,booking process is easy . The staff is very helpful. I highly recommend .The cars are new and easy to drive around.
