Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 99 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently experienced unexpected monthly subscription charges and automatic payments deducted from their accounts. Consumers also bitterly complained about poor product quality, noting that the golf balls felt hard like stones and significantly underperformed compared to advertising claims. Though some customers appreciated the golf balls or found them decent for casual play, many buyers strongly warned others about the hidden recurring fees. People strongly urged future buyers to check their payment cards and bank statements closely due to these recurring subscription charges being applied automatically after a purchase.

Written by the company

We're a team of everyday golfers, course pros, and engineers who got tired of paying $50+ a dozen for the same premium golf ball. So we built our own. A ball re-engineered from the core for longer drives, straighter shots, and durability that holds up round after round. We sell it directly to golfers, which is how we keep a tour-level ball at under half the usual price. Every order is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you're not playing better, send it back, no questions asked.

Can’t give them zero

Can’t give them zero. Don’t trust them. Liars and cheats. Goods come from China but they hide that fact. Took ages to get HALF my order. Never sent the rest. Support are useless and ignorant. You sign up to a subscription you never wanted and the balls are mediocre at best. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Check your PayPal…..it’s there without your knowledge.

Pity there were ni minus stars to rate…

Pity there were no minus stars to rate this company. Golf balls don't match the advertisement claims, don't stop slicing...don't travel any further. The most frustrating part is that they automatically subscribe you after purchasing. £21+ in my case. I've made comments on their adverts, which are blocked..if negative. Customer beware!

This company is a fraud

This company is a fraud. We cancelled the order 3 minutes after it was placed and have been trying for two weeks to return the useless golf balls they sent anyway. We have no less than 25 emails from their chat bots,(I don’t believe any humans actually works there) and every email has the same broken link to start a return. We are going to seek some recourse through our bank.

Tried to cancel my order and so far haven’t been able to use the cancellation form as it breaks down all the time. Have contacted them each time to cancel it and I get the same message and link. They even asked me to put in my browser to do it and still got the same issue!

Wish I had come here before I bought…

Wish I had come here before I bought these golf balls. They didn't work for me & I lost distance with them. I was going to return them but it was going to cost me 90% of the purchase price for the postage back to USA.
I decided to keep them & give them away & it may save 12 people from making the same mistake that I did.

Stay well clear

Stay well clear

Orser process does not allow you to review basket. Goes straight to take your money.

I emailed them several times within 24 hours of the order being placed to cancel. Replied 7 days later saying the order had been sent and I would have to pay for the return.

Crap communication. Crap ordering process. Couldn't care less about the when or if it arrives

Take unauthorised money. Beware!!

Balls are OK at best. Paid for them and i was billed an extra £22 a fortnight later for no reason, with no authorisation. Inform your banks not to pay any extra to Forgeway as they'll keep taking it, as and when they're ready.

Placed two orders

Placed two orders , only 1 was delivered, after nearly 2 weeks from date of order. When contacted customer service , they replied quickly enough to say although I had placed 2 orders totalling £46.95 I would only be receiving 1 set (12) of balls. Very poor service and wouldn’t recommend. Be careful before ordering from this company

Ordered balls

Ordered balls. They to be honest are ok. Took a £22.70 subscription for 2 months. I have cancelled on PayPal. Don’t pay by PayPal or they will take money every month without you getting anything. Got on to PayPal still no joy. They’ve still got my money. Beware DONT PAY VIA PAYPAL or they’ll rip you off.

Subscription scam

The golf balls themselves are fine.
But the dodgy way they sign you upto a subscription is disgusting.
Intentionally slipped in in light barely readable font, this is clearly intentional.
Bang out of order
