Charged extra for touching the boarder of another country which we never knew we had crossed as sat nav took us that route for a very short time, rep never mentioned this but it's in the small print. Very disappointed that the short time we were there was not factored into the assessment. Will stick more reputable companies in future.

Professional services, good value and good price.

The company worker didn't answer the phone for around an hour. Finally he call me , said that I can leave the car at the parking with no checking. The rest of that rental was ok.

We rented a car from their Krakow Airport location in May. I was a little apprehensive renting from this company mainly due to the incredibly low rate I got booking via Holiday Autos. I came prepared, having a credit card in my full name and having my own excess insurance. We arrived via Uber from the city a little early; the collection was very swift, no sell on the extra insurance, and they didn't check the name of my card; they just put a holding charge of 5,000 zl on my card. The car given to us was much bigger/better than what I'd paid for (Renault Arkana). It did have a few scratches on it but was in pretty good condition for a 30,000km car. The vehicle hadn't been washed, but this could be due to us turning up 30 minutes early. We returned the car on a Saturday afternoon at 17:00; I was surprised to see that the office was locked and no one was around. We dropped the key in the overnight slot. We were told on pickup there was a regular bus to the terminal (shared between all the other rental companies); however, after waiting around for a bit, there was no sign of it, so we ordered an Uber which cost 25zl, but the distance to the terminal is walkable.
The next morning, I received a confirmation email to say that there were no issues with the car and the holding charge would be removed.

No issue with this car rental company. Even if the car park is not at the airport there is a free shuttle from/to the airport with just 5min to go to the car rental office.

I rented a car from this company for the first time and cannot have enough words to praise them. They contacted me ahead of time to confirm the pick up and return. they came on time to greed me in front of the terminal and did an amazing job with the swift singing process. Car was upgraded, clean and well kept.
The most impressive thing that happened was when my flight was canceled. They agreed to come the next day with cars for me and my brother with no problem at all!!
Mr Mikolaj Koscielny was the nicest and most accommodating person in such miserable situation.
The fee for extra delivery was 55 pln in comparison to new rental agreement, which would cost me in the other company over $3000 cad for 3 weeks. You cannot ignore this kind of kindness. Thank you so much for my first experience with the Polish rental company. You are better than my previous providers like Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, Alamo, Sixt, which I have been using in the past with mixed reviews. Thank you guys, you are the men!!!

Rented a car through booking.com for a week. Express could not have made the experience easier. They met us at the airport, handed off the car and picked it up at the same spot. They even called the day before we arrived to check in. Their staff was excellent and very easy to work with.
The only thing worth a noting as someone from the US northeast is that you can't assume that an SUV is going to be All Wheel Drive. However they put snow tires on so we had no problem driving in the mountains for some skiing.
We would absolutely work with Express again when we're back in that part of Europe.

Only 1/4 tank of gasoline when I pick the vehicle and so dark and foggy that night. First time in the town and have no idea if I would get to my destination before run out of fuel.

Surprisingly easy! As most rental companies nowadays they try to convince you to get their insurance, but I found them a lot less pushy than other companies, and in general very nice and easy to deal with :-)

I ordered a VW Passat but received a Renault Arkana instead. Technically it’s still a D+ class car, but the rear space felt quite small, and since I had the car for 50 days, I was hoping for something larger.
The vehicle also appeared to come from the sister car‑sharing company “Traficar” rather than directly from “Express”, and it had a number of dents and some minor interior damage. Only about half of these were listed in the initial report.
The front tyres had been replaced just before the rental, but the “low tyre pressure” warning light stayed on and couldn’t be reset. The windscreen washer fluid also froze on the first night.
On the positive side, “Express” handled both pick‑up and return very quickly, and the staff were helpful. It’s possible I was just unlucky with the car assignment.
Overall, this is an honest review based purely on my experience.

Excellent straight forward experience at Krakow airport. Van wasn't the best condition lots of dents and stretches but this didn't bother us. Efficient at point of collection and return. Felt uneasy just posting keys into a drop box, however shouldn't have as received confirmation of return via email within 30 mins. Great value for money and honest reliable service, will be using next time.

I rented a van for a week, paid a pretty penny, ordered an automatic, but got a manual transmission. A big downside was that they gave me a car with really, really bad tires in the winter; the front tires had no tread at all.

I used the car hire service once again and, as always, everything was spot on. The car was clean, in excellent condition and ready on time. The service was professional and completely hassle-free. I would also recommend booking directly through express.pl – it’s quick, straightforward and easy to arrange. I would highly recommend it and will certainly use their services again.
