All went well except: 1. No V5 on delivery so had to ring to get Document number to tax car. 2. Had an email saying the exchange offer had to be accepted within 4 days otherwise the offer will be... See more

Firstly huge faff sending pics and a video of the car. Took nearly two hours and finally had to send video on live chat which is like wading through treacle. The man who delivered it couldn’t get away fast enough. Had no introduction to the car. No demonstration etc. when I drove it 30 yards to my garage it became apparent there was an engine fault which might explain his haste to get away. It makes a very unsettling noise when I Steve the engine. I have a tech booked to look at it but expect I will get the usual lip service so I am considering sending it back and not buying another car online as I feel I need to check it’s ok first. It’s very sad as I’ve had 4 sanderos and this is the first I really don’t want to drive.

Jay, who handled delivery and collection was particularly polite and thorough

Easy enough process, however it was a little bit stressful when picking up my car. I couldn't find the location, satnav didn't help much either. So I gave 4 stars as the service is still good.

Ian Neal was brilliant today, very helpful and polite when showing me the functions of the car. Brilliant service today

Ian Neal helped us with our car today, showed us everything we needed to know. Couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful!

We turned up without an appointment however, the staff were still happy to help and made us feel welcome. The process was quick and efficient. The only thing that would have made the experience better was to be able to look at more than one car as we had a few in mind but had to choose which one to have moved.

This the second time we have used Cinch to buy our car. On both occasions we have enjoyed a straight forward, quick and easy process. To be honest, I can’t think of a better way of buying a car. We are absolutely delighted with our latest purchase. The handover was very smooth, and James Wallace, who delivered the vehicle couldn’t have been more helpful - a great guy! All in all another excellent experience and HIGHLY recommended. THANK YOU CINCH!

Great communication from start to finish. All my questions answered.
Vehicle delivery was prompt at the time specified, the delivery driver Myles was polite, friendly and made the hand over process easy.

Tom from cinch (Washington) was fabulous, easy process, car faultless, can’t believe it’s so easy to buy a car!

I cannot believe how badly cinch have handled what should have been a straightforward car purchase.
I purchased a car on 20th August, specifically paid £325 for the car to be delivered on Saturday 29th August. Buying the car was very easy, but delivery on the other hand..... still left waiting for the car.
The Thursday prior to delivery I was phoned by cinch to be told that my car is 'confirmed' for delivery and I need to organise insurance and tax for delivery on Saturday. Perfectly normal.
Saturday at 8 am, (day of delivery) I am called to be told that unfortunately my car will not be delivered as they left the keys in the transportation truck that moves the car to the local branch. So my keys weren't actually with the car. The person on the phone advised they will contact me Monday morning for rearranging delivery.
Monday afternoon, I did not receive any calls to rearrange delivery, after chasing customer support, they advised me that they have posted my keys to the local branch and keys should be there by Wednesday and I can organise delivery from there. As I couldn't wait any longer I offered to go collect the car myself to ensure I get my car as quick as possible. customer support advised they will update me Wednesday once the keys have arrived and we can organise collection for wednesday/thursday.
Wednesday rolls around..... no communication from cinch. I chase them again to be told no update again. The same information on Thursday and now today (Friday). My keys have still not been delivered to the local branch and I am still left without a car and no update on the whereabouts of my keys or when I can even collect my car.
Customer support fails to give me basic information, i'm left repeatedly chasing for updates. Customer support don't seem to have phone lines to their branches so can't even directly ask the local branch if keys have been delivered, so they have been communicating via email. There is no tracking number for the postage of my keys, literally no information.
As of Friday evening, I am still yet to receive any updates on a timeframe for when I can expect to get my car, or even just where my keys are.
I have had to rearrange plans, spend my own time repeatedly calling and chasing, booking annual leave from work for a 'confirmed delivery' that has never happened.
To top it off, I have made a formal complaint, to which I am still awaiting a response to. I have asked customer support about this to be told I will receive a response to my complaint once I have received my car. But when that will be, who knows?

On collection of the car I was read out the old mot and didn’t get a confirmation that the service had been done. Was told it was in an email which is yet to arrive?

James was amazing on time kept me updated all day about the delivery and was a pleasure to talk too. He ran through everything I needed to know on how the car worked showed me round it and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you James

I recently bought a vechile in June 2025, it had 54,000 miles on the clock. In the last 6 months the car has been in and out of the garage for the following.
Head Gaskett
Water Pump
Turbo
Exhaust
Starter Coil
Which has cost me £2,500
I phoned the company they do not want to know or take any responsibility for this they said that i have had the car for 12 months. Yes I understand this how ever surley a car with such low mileage and so many problems something is not sitting right with me.
The garage has today confirmed that their had been many issues on the car prior to me purchasing the car regarding engine head gaskett they could see when they removed certain parts that these had been removed prior.
Stay clear.

Excellent experience with Cinch. I was worried about buying a car online but I knew what I wanted and just couldn't find it in my area. Lots of time was wasted with dealerships not returning calls and emails. Found the whole process really easy. The car was delivered on time by a very friendly courier, Lucian, who told me how much he enjoyed his job (give this man a pay rise). I was shown the car and its workings and it was very clean inside. Communication with Cinch was very good and they sent me V5 number in order to tax it. I have had the car for 4 days now and love it- it's not going back but the 14 day return policy gave me added confidence to buy with them.

It is now 4 September (over a week later) and we have received zero proactive updates on the status of our vehicle. Every update has come from us chasing, not from Cinch. There is no single point of contact, so each call means re-explaining the situation from scratch — we have now spent hours on the phone with nothing to show for it.
When we asked about being moved to a different vehicle given the delay, we were offered a £100 voucher. For a car we paid in full for and still don’t have a working version of, this felt like a token gesture rather than a real resolution.
We also paid for their three-year warranty on top of the purchase price. If this is the level of service and responsiveness we get before anything has even gone wrong under warranty, it doesn’t inspire confidence in what happens if we ever need to use it.
We bought through Cinch expecting a hassle-free process. Instead: a faulty delivery, no communication, no accountability, and no urgency. Can’t recommend based on this experience.

I have just had delivery of my car i paid £66k for to then notice Bad dents / scratches that had been touched up. when i spoke to customer service, they have basically told me it was my problem to sort as they have a policy saying customers have to accept small marks. so anyone who sees there car online ask for video evidence as i have had a quote of a £1000 to get my car fixed. i will never deal with cinch again.

I’m very happy with the repairs done on my car. Rhys was very professional and didn’t take long to solve the problem.

My Cinch buying experience was good, quick and easy. I'd recommend seeing the cars first, as you can spend a lot of time checking them out. I noticed two tires needed changing before pickup, and they took care of it.
Vehicle handover was nice and easy. Ian went over everything with me, like paying tax, and explained how returns work, which was pretty detailed.
I drove the car home and noticed the brakes weren't great. I reported the issues online, and within a week, they sent a mechanic to check it. He agreed it needed new pads and discs. Then another mechanic just came out and did the work right in my driveway. The customer service agents through email were really good. I asked for an appointment after 1 PM, and they made it happen.
All in all, I'd buy from Cinch again.
