Complete cowboys whose advertising breaches the ASA regulations. They claimed to have found two PCP loans I could claim for despite the fact I have never ever had car finance! Given their initial dishonesty I would never trust them with my personal details or to conduct a claim on my behalf!
Five stars even though I returned the product. No fault just didn’t look right on me. Fast free delivery and equally fast free and simple return process. I’ll be back at some point! Thanks.
Aside from the "Linen Look" trousers that very much weren't Boohoo didn't make a refund until I chased them twice including sending proof of delivery and threatened them with raising a PayPal case. They also charged me £4.98 for the return despite advertising the cost as being £1.99. So for quality and customer service I have given them 1 star because you cannot choose zero! On top of that I unsubscribed from their marketing emails (that I never signed up for) three times on the website and they still kept sending them every day, sometimes twice a day. No apology by the way and no guarantee of being unsubscribed either. Finally they say refunds can take up to 21 days to appear... Recommend they are best avoided.
You might also want to avoid the following who are in the same group
Pretty Little Thing, BoohooMAN, Debenhams, Karen Millen, Nasty Gal, Oasis and Warehouse
I bought a £300 garden cupboard great materials but absolutely appalling assembly of parts which meant I returned two cupboards entirely and only got a replacement roof and front panel for the third one with the help of the retailer concerned. The replacement had clearly been taken apart and reworked obviously with poor grace given the quality of work but I accepted it just to be done with the whole affair and because I could fix the remaining defects myself. On a £300 cupboard. Churnet Valley themselves ignore emails by the way. I wouldn't but a bird table off them after this and it is a pity I can't share all the photos of poor workmanship here.
I have been requesting to return an item which is a bracelet that turned out to be the wrong size. I missed the size guide on the website and there was no prompt for that information just a random size sent.
I bought from this company due to their suggested Tibetan Buddhist connections - see the "about" information on their website - plus because of their advertised “no hassle return policy”. Since requesting to return the item they have done the reverse and finally reveal that the return address is in China which will cost me more than the purchase price! Their email also tells me to falsify the value of the item when returning it to avoid customs duties and is full of warnings about the risks involved in returning items.
The whole setup appears to misleading and dishonest.
I opened a case with PayPal who have refunded me.

Dear customer,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We would like to clarify a few points for transparency. On the product page, a detailed size guide is clearly displayed, including instructions on how to measure the wrist and choose the appropriate bracelet size. Orders are fulfilled strictly according to the size option selected by the customer at checkout — we do not send sizes at random.
Regarding returns, our return policy is published on our website and states that return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. As our products are handcrafted and shipped internationally, which is also disclosed in our policy. We understand that international returns may not be convenient, and this is why we often try to offer alternative solutions where possible.
The customs declaration suggestion mentioned in our email is a common logistical practice to help reduce potential customs fees, but it is always optional and at the customer’s discretion. We apologize if the wording caused any discomfort.
We respect PayPal’s resolution and are glad the matter has been closed on your end. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will continue working to make our size guidance and return explanations even clearer for future customers.
Quick straightforward help to solve problem with using National Trust membership to book tickets. That said both NT and EH websites need to be clearer on this.

Hi Steve, thanks for your review! We're happy to hear that we could quickly assist you with your booking issue. We appreciate your feedback.
We had an issue with a purchase - a manufacturing issue not any fault of A&E - they were really helpful and supportive in resolving the situation. Highly recommend them.
I bought a pair of goggles sold as OK to use with an open face helmet. They are most unsuitable as the strap has no anti slip coating and does not grip firmly. They also dig into the bridge of your nose. I returned them using the label the seller supplied via Amazon albeit at my expense. The package was returned to me because the seller refused to accept it - with what was clearly an Amazon returns label on it. Thankfully I got a refund for the cost and postage from Amazon but clearly this company are not to be trusted so I would suggest best avoided.
Bertoni replied saying they don’t sell on Amazon yet the seller was The Bertoni Store and I stand by my comments on suitability and fit.

this is the page of shopbertoni.com, we don't sell in Amazon, if you have a matter with a seller of Bertoni brand in amazon.UK or with Amazon UK directly please contact them
Item badly packaged and arrived broken. Only way to deal with it appears to be webchat but after 45 minutes no reply. Probably all the other complaining customers!
Don't respond on social media either - are they closing down?
If they can't run online sales properly why bother. - avoid buying online at all costs

Service has completely collapsed. Lockers near me are always full and when I finally found an empty one further away it was not emptied for SEVEN DAYS. Not going to use them again as convenience was the only reason...
After a poor start being supplied a duff machine (suspect been sold before) and having to argue for a replacement we are pleased with the performance of the second unit. After sales support good albeit for a minor cosmetic issue that shouldn’t have happened. Chap who came today was first rate.

Hello Steve,
I am so sorry to read that the first appliance was faulty and it was a tricky process to get a replacement. I am pleased that the new appliance is now working as it should. I will feed this back to the relevant department.
Bottom line with Hermes is they are cheap and usually efficient but if something goes wrong that is beyond there automated “support” service you cannot make contact acceptably so give up!
We’re so pleased you’re happy with your order from musicMagpie! Have you heard of our refer a friend program? You can get 10% off your next order when your friends use musicMagpie too! Find out more here: https://www.musicmagpie.co.uk/store/refer-a-friend
One star because cannot give zero. Bought a hand grass trimmer which had a three year warranty and which went blunt in three months. Ferrax could not have cared less when I first asked how to sharpen it they said take it to a garden centre! Clearly had no idea but would sell me a new one - after three months. Refused to honour the warranty by telling me “ If you are looking for a replacement or a refund of the product I would advise you to contact the retailer however, it would be entirely at their discretion.” Clearly total cowboys, probably just import middle men for Aldi and best avoided!
I bought a belt from this site measuring EXACTLY as they specified against an existing belt "to the usual hole". When it arrived it was four inches too short. I emailed them that day but got no response so after a week I have just phoned them to be palmed off with a refusal to refund or replace "because that it their terms and conditions" So unfit for purpose is my problem? Most uncooperative and unhelpful company best avoided. Taking this further...
Just bought four blinds off this company, quality is at best average but operation/design terrible. Delivery was late. All four when installed with the rollers dead level hang uneven at the bottom. This is before you have to faff about sticking strips of masking tape on the roller to avoid runout. They actually admit that this may be needed in the fitting instructions!!! Customer service is slow to respond and asks for ridiculous measurements, photos, etc. when adequate pictures have allready been sent. The answer is do not install the roller level and the fitting bracket opposite the roller needs to have slotted screwholes to allow for fine tuning. They were saved from getting the lot back by my other half not being able to find the right shade elsewhere. I can understand the attraction of a Drop Shipping business model but feel that greater oversight of design versus fitting method is called for. Frankly best avoided...
