Inexplicable delays and worthless service

Deliveryman passes by without even ringing, website indicates that the package (which is from Germany) will get delivered at an Access Point by the end of the day instead. The day passes, no package.

I make sure to now indicate delivery to the closest Access Point - website indicates that the package will be delivered by the end of the next day. The end of the next day arrives, still no delivery at the Access Point.

I send an e-mail to complain about these inexplicable delays, only to receive a nothingburger reply indicating that they can not guarantee anything, and I will just have to keep following the tracking! As if that is not enough, the second day after the original delivery date, a few minutes before my e-mail receives a reply, the destination randomly gets changed from Access Point to my home address again.

I call customer service, and they tell me that "Oh, because the delivery got changed, you will have to wait for another 24 hours" when I did not even indicate that I wanted such a change! Absolutely shameful. Still have not received my package.

In the meantime, another package from the Ukraine (a country that is actively at war) delivered by another postal service has arrived in perfect order. Note that I ordered this at the same time. What a stark contrast. A war-torn country puts more effort into their deliveries than this shameful company does.

Package not delivered due to signature

I’ve been waiting days for new shoes and have been looking forward to getting them today. I’m going out and I had my entire outfit planned just to get an email saying they couldn’t deliver the package because they need a signature. Yes, I could’ve stayed home waiting for a package but a delivery shouldn’t disrupt my plans/whole day. I prefer other delivery services because they either leave it in front of my door (in my very safe neighborhood so I never worry) or they give it to my neighbors. UPS requires a signature for whatever reason and “won’t leave the package behind” as if it is a favor to me. It’s not a favor because now I don’t have my package!!! Such a nuisance, I cannot stress enough how irritated I am at this inconvenience portrayed as assistance.

UPS is a disgraceful company

UPS is a disgraceful company. First, they “lost” a very valuable item — a gold ring. However, I strongly believe that it was not actually lost, but stolen by one of the couriers, especially since the courier knew exactly what was inside the package. Later, I even found the same ring being sold on Marktplaats.

On top of that, their handling of customs charges is equally unacceptable. I have been trying to get a refund for the customs duties I was forced to pay upfront for the same shipment, but despite numerous attempts to contact UPS, I still have not been able to resolve the issue.

Their customer service is absolutely terrible. For almost three months, I have been trying to get a clear answer and resolve this matter, but I am constantly being passed around with no proper solution.

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company. In my experience, UPS is completely unprofessional and unreliable.

Do they even actually deliver?

Never, in my 14 years of living in the Netherlands, have they actually tried to deliver me a package. When it comes to other providers, it's at least 50/50 but with UPS it always goes straight to the pickup point, even when I was sitting at home all day, or worse, when I actually ordered it to my workplace and waited for it until late in the evening. I'd give them zero stars if I could.

Ordered supplements from Black Forest…

Ordered supplements from Black Forest in America. Next thing I know I am getting hit with a tax tariff which totalled in hundreds of pounds. I paid the price even though i was upset that was not included in the delivery which already left me out of pocket.

I return home to a letter saying 'sorry we missed you' with an invoice tracking number. The delivery driver had wrote on the note but i could not read it. The letters were all mixed together.

I go on the ups website which is not working properly and enter the number. It says I have £62.85 in charges. I am so stressed out. I pay it. When i go to reschedule the email provided is not mine.

I contact customer service and they get back to me hours later. The package is near my address but is not mine. The number on the form was not for my item. I tell them this and they send me on an email hunt to tell ups billing service.

I email them and they tell me there is not much they can do. Everything i explained they ignored and after 2 emails i got ignored and have heard no more from customer service.

I do not have the money to let this go and because of the drivers incompetence i am now out by over £60.00. The customer service do not want to help or do not know how to help. Either way the results are the same.

Paying for someone elses package and being out hundreds when i've already payed hundreds was not on my bingo card. Feel like i have been constantly scammed out of money. Like taxes, this is daylight robbery. If anyone else did it they would be tried and in jail.

I will never use a company who use UPS ever again and i won't order abroad anymore. I paid for the items three times over!!!

Update: Because i use paypal i explained to them the situation and they have cancelled the payment and refunded me. If it was not for paypal customer service i would have lost that money forever. UPS only cared about keeping money that was not theirs. At this point even Evri is better now! Thank you paypal customer service :)

Avoid

Ordered a parcel to be delivered to a shop that's open from 7am to 10pm only to get a message at 1:30pm telling me they couldn't deliver my parcel as the shop was shut! The shop doesnt close. Spoke to an advisor and it was one of the worst customer service calls I have called. The lady couldn't help me with anything and it took my five attempts to get her to confirm they were trying to deliver it to the correct shop. Would avoid UPS at all cots.

It feels like UPS’s main goal is to leave the recipient as dissatisfied as possible

Based on my repeated experience, UPS seems incapable of delivering a parcel to my home.
Every single time, the same scenario repeats itself. First, I receive a notification saying that my parcel will be delivered on a specific day and within a specific time window. I cancel or rearrange my plans and stay at home waiting for the courier. Nobody comes.
Later, I receive another notification saying that the delivery has been rescheduled to another day and another time. Once again, I change my plans and wait at home. And once again, nobody delivers anything.
Eventually, I receive the final message: *delivery attempt unsuccessful, collect your parcel from a pickup point.*
This has happened to me multiple times now. The courier does not ring the doorbell, there is no actual delivery attempt that I can see, and in the end I am expected to travel across the city to collect a parcel that was supposed to be delivered to my home.
At this point, whenever I see that an online store uses UPS, it immediately becomes a major disadvantage for me. Dealing with UPS has become a genuine headache.
I honestly do not understand how this company operates. Is this actually your standard delivery process — provide a delivery window, make the recipient stay at home, reschedule it, fail to deliver again, and then send the parcel to a pickup point?
This is by far the worst courier service I have ever dealt with. After experiencing the same situation again and again, I actively try to avoid companies that use UPS whenever possible.
Companies should seriously reconsider using UPS as their delivery partner. From a customer’s perspective, the service is unreliable, frustrating and incredibly inconvenient.

Delivery service is worse

Never ever have they delivered a package at home.
Each time I stay back for the delivery and no one comes.
I have to pick up the package from the pick up point.
They should shut down the name delivery and put it as pickup points only.

Repeated Delivery Delays Have Become a Pattern

Lately, my experience with UPS has been very disappointing. There seems to be a consistent pattern where packages are scheduled for delivery on a certain day, only to be rescheduled or delayed.

I understand that occasional delays happen, but when it becomes a regular occurrence, it makes the estimated delivery dates difficult to rely on. When customers make plans around a scheduled delivery, repeatedly changing the date creates unnecessary inconvenience.

UPS needs to improve the reliability and accuracy of its delivery estimates. If a package is unlikely to arrive on the scheduled date, I would rather receive an accurate estimate from the beginning than repeatedly see the delivery date changed.

Unfortunately, based on my recent experiences, the service has not been as dependable as I expect from UPS.

The worst logistic service ever

The worst logistic service ever. It starts with filling in the forms that are chaotic. At the startscreen I filled in that the package had to be send from NL to Italy. The costs where for that destination. The rest of the forms I had to fill in several times and the adress was not checked as with other logistic services. After a day on the road I got a message that the postcode was false and that they would correct that. After looking at the adress I saw that the destination was filled in as NL so not Italy. I send a mail to correct that, got a automated reply and nothing happened with that. After a week they did send it back and it had not been outside The Netherlands. So they did not forfill their service. I did send it the second time with DHL and it went perfect with 2-day delivery to Italy. Now, two weeks later I get a bill for return cost of € 10,99. Maybe UPS works somehow well for automated systems of large distributors but for private persons you should not do business with them. I am not the only one looking at their rating on several sites.

UPS Clowns

Lazy drivers, idiotic customer support, dishonest company all around.
This company truly doesn't care about its customers or about doing their job correctly.
Boycott them, either they will go bankrupt or forced to finally give a damn about their job.
