I used to love shopping at Taking Shape their clothes used to be of good quality and I don't mind paying for quality items. Lately I am finding the quality is not there anymore and could do better quality buying from Temu. So disappointed

I buy a lot of Taking Shape clothes and footwear. Always when on special. Often over 70% off. Maybe 5 disappointments over the last 10 years or so among hundreds of items bought. I always shop online, so that is an amazing record. Being a large size it is great to be able to be a well dressed pensioner on a budget thanks to the awesome sales every few months. Don't remember ever getting a wrong size or an item omitted. Sometimes the website can be a little difficult to navigate but I suspect that is my old phone. It is worth persevering. The quality is good to excellent especially for sales and clearance items at such low prices. I get a lot of compliments. Thank you TS.

A big shout-out to Leanne at the Windsor Taking Shape store for her exceptional customer service yesterday. She went out of her way to help me find lots of different options, and nothing was too much trouble. She was friendly, patient and genuinely helpful, giving me wonderful personalised service from start to finish. It’s not often you receive that level of attention and care when shopping these days. Thank you, Leanne. You made my shopping experience an absolute pleasure!

I went to taking place in pokekoke for first time ,definitely not the last time . Ladies were friendly and respectful and guide me very well also the price was good not expensive. I strongly recommend.

Taking Shape in Joondalup is my go to women’s clothing store. The staff are cheerful, helpful & so knowledgeable. Yesterday’s fashion parade was a fun time, with great combinations showcasing new styles. The colourful prints & natural fabrics are my faves. Well done, Bianca & all your ladies! Thank you. I’ll be back again soon.

I purchased a five pack of ladies cotton briefs in September 2025 but by February 2026 I’d had to restitch every single leg and waist elastic plus side seams on every single pair. When I called customer service they said because I’d called more than six months after purchase there was nothing they could do. As I wear briefs other than these, it took me a while to realise how poor the quality really was. I’d estimate none of them lasted without the stitching coming undone for more than ten or so wears and washes.

What can I say about Taking Shape. I am in my early 40's. A lot of the clothes seem to be aimed at older ladies who love bright colours. Having said that I have managed to find a few things that I adore. The black Bamboo leggings, a beautiful emerald green winter knit, a black swimming costume, a cute Summer dress. There are items for simple girlies like me who are not fans of big bright colourful outfits. My biggest issue is that they won't let you use your 'rewards' with existing discounts. I have $55 worth of rewards at the moment. They have 30% off. So I went in super excited with a huge armful of clothing (I wanted to restock my leggings and I found some cute jumpers too!) The lady said the $55 can only be used on full priced items and that she could take away the 30% discount and put them back up to full price so I could use my $55 rewards. No thanks. I put everything back. No other retailer does this. You get the discount and you get to use the reward! The lady said they get complaints about it all the time! Maybe change this rule Taking Shape? I spend hundreds at Country Road because they allow the discount plus all your rewards. It's fabulous and the only way to shop!

Thanking your great sales assistants - including Avril and the team at Taking Shape. I experienced trouble ordering on-line (my knowledge is limited). Transferred to Launceston store of TS and my order was taken by one of their staff. Pleasant, courteous and willing to assist. I ordered on Friday, 17th July, package arrived Tuesday, 21 July. Wonderful service - thank you !

I visited the Auckland Airport site a few weeks back. I want to say a BIG ups to Lita who helped me to find what I needed. What I really liked about Lita was I really wanted to buy a jacket and my sister told me I looked homeless. So I went to look for other things, but that jacket just kept calling me back, I told Lita I want it she took one look and said Na No!! Thank you for your honesty. And awesome help. Loved all my new purchases.

The staff at Taking Shape Bunbury are amazing. Dee and her team are most patient and kind and I am very appreciative of their exceptional service.

The customer service of the staff at Taking Shape in the Airport shopping center was amazing. They assisted me throughout my time there and i have been going back there again and again.

Once again Noeleen and the team have given me a great experience. As an older shopper who lives 183km from my nearest store, staff understand and appreciate my need for good service and honest opinions. The staff make me feel special. These are the reasons why I continue to shop at TS Bunbury.

I sent a support worker to my local store (Maroochydore) this morning to find out about replacing (1) the front tie beads on my favourite dress and (2) the hot pink front tie tassels on another dress. Both of these have come off and been lost.
The sales woman could not help.
This is incredibly disappointing

I was in Tuggerah Store today . As i walked around just after opening i was left to wonder by myself the 2 staff members were happy just chatting to each other !!! No customer service at all . I have been a customer for many years and i will NOT return. Also this business of no refund for discounted items is rubbish . Not Happy at all

The "girls" - more like miracle workers - were incredibly helpful, patient and just fantastic. I had them looking things up on the computer, finding stock in the back and running around like lunatics - they did all this while smiling, cracking the funnies and just being nice. They have always made shopping there a pleasure - looking forward to my next shopping spluge.

Quality clothing, including sleep wear, active wear, under garments.
The staff at their Newton, South Australia store are friendly, helpful and exceptional.

Fashion parade fizzle! Booked on line 3 weeks ago to attend this mornings event at the Mandurah forum. Firstly, As I had not received any acknowledgment of the booking I phoned this morning to be advised yes I was booked in with my friend. Staff apologetic that I had not received confirmation but all good to go. Secondly, Arriving 10 minutes prior to the event we two ladies were told all seats had be taken! We were welcome to stay, however we would have to stand. So very disappointing. Why on earth advertise an event and ability to book if the store is unable to honour. Personally this is a big turn off. I felt like we were not valued at all and quite frankly will avoid future visits to this store. Comments invited.

Follow up on loved the style and colour. Took the product into the local store. Told person it had been suggested I bring them in to see if the issue can be resolved.
I was told that the swimwear isn’t made to be worn in a pool! How silly of me to think I could use these to actually swim in. She said further that there was nothing she could do.
From reading poor reviews it seems that staff could benefit from training in how to manage complaints. I’m very disappointed in both the product and the response I received.

T shirts use to be top quality, thick. soft, non-hot, washable material that kept its shape and lasted hundreds of wears and washes. I’m going back 5-7 years ago when I bought quiet a few that I’ve worn over and over. Some had gold stars on t-shirt with styled arms and curved front and back, another had a silver stripe amongst other stripes. All very stylish. All t-shirts now will be lucky to last 1-2 years. Material is cheaper quality even though the shirt is just as expensive and styles are mostly the plain t-shirt shape. I hope taking shape can look back at previous quality materials and styles and go back to when they made great t shirts.

Visited Jindalee Taking Shape on the 18th January 2026 after receiving high recommendations from my sister who visited the shop in September 2025. I am a very difficult person when it comes to buying clothes for myself and I find it hard to get clothes that I like and feel comfortable in.
I was approached by Andrea and was from the word go in her care. She was super helpful, knew her styles and colours. She was never pushy, and asked my daughter what I like to wear. She went out of her way to find styles that I was comfortable in. I did buy clothes that I would normally not wear or look at, but after my experience with Andrea, I like what I saw and bought. I am actually going back there to buy myself some swimmers and a wedding outfit!! I hope I get to the great help from Andrea
