Seems like Ziggo decided to become the sloppiest company ever. For 2 years was it fine. Not perfect but fine. This year it turned into a disaster. My internet interrupts every 10 minutes or so. And not just interrupts, but results in an extremely annoying bug that my phone / laptop just does not reconnect back to the wifi unless I fully reload them. But this is not the whole story. Apparently, Ziggo decided that the best way to deal with customers problem - is to totally ignore their customers. The customer support is basically unreachable. You go to the website and some AI of the level gpt 2 advices you to install the app. App tells you that the connection is perfect... even when you are disconnected and using your mobile data. No email provided to write them. When you call the customer support, some supid AI-bot asks you what's wrong and in 0.1 second sayd it didn't understand and asks to repeat. The only reachable department is the one to cancel the subscription. Well, if so, I assume it's the only way to deal with it

Two weeks ago, Ziggo did work in my neighbourhood and knocked out the internet in my entire apartment building entirely. They only agreed to come to fix it 6 days later but didn’t show up. When I enquired with them they said they had no record of an outage at our address. Finally they arrived on day 7 and, after several hours, managed to fix it.
No sense of urgency. No offer of mobile data to compensate for the fact that I had to rely on it for everything at home. And customer service that wasn’t able to even provide accurate information about the outage.

PLEASE AVOID ZIGGO, DON'T BE TRAPPED LIKE ME!!!!
July 27th, 2026, two guys from Ziggo came to my house and presented an offer for my home internet. I told them I am currently with Odido. They told me that I DONT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING, THAT ZIGGO WILL CONTACT ODIDO AND SWITCH ME OVER, they said they only need my approval and signature. Not knowing that it was a trap to sign contract with them having noticed that I dont speak dutch. Now they sent their internet package to my house even when my contract with Odido is still in progress. When I called Ziggo, they said I have to contact Odido myself because I cannot cancel Ziggo contract anymore since the 14days notice has expired. More painful is that Ziggo has very unprofessional set of people as their customer relations, very rude and unwilling to solve any problems. How can I be paying for the service I never used? This is a FRAUD!!!

So I broke the second rule of getting into a service in Nederlands (Agreeing with an agent that came to my door to sell me on Ziggo Zakelijk, the first rule is agreeing on phone). Really cool guy selling a vile product.
All went well and router delivered but on installation day(17th August) the guy didn't find where the Ziggo line came into my house and had to set an appointment for 3rd of September. That still wasn't a problem until I got a mail from KPN on the 24th of August around 8pm that my internet will be disconnected and in the next 1hr, I was without internet.
Apparently even without confirmation that a successful installation was done and I have internet access in my house, Ziggo had sent a notification to KPN that I had internet and KPN had gone ahead to disconnect my internet.
I spent the whole of 25th of August on the call with 6 different Ziggo customer care agents with none being able to profer any solution to how I can have internet between now and 3rd of September. They all just kept coming up with excuses to end the call or some plainly said there was nothing they could do. Some were so annoying I had to end the call due to their cluelessness.
I haven't started using them yet but I already regret even having contact with them already.
If you are not using them yet, better don't start.
I still dread the horrors that lie ahead when I indeed start using such a useless network provider which is already providing me headaches before I am connected to them.

Constant internet outages; instead of the advertised 1,000, your speed will be less than 100; there’s always network jitter; it’s impossible to play games, work, watch videos, or make calls. the techs don’t solve anything and they don’t care about you or your opinion. If you value your money and your sanity, steer clear of this cesspool.

Horrible app and customer service. They are scamming you with the contracts. I have been payin 20 euros more than an available deal. They would call you for all the other cross sell opportunities but not when they are overcharging. Go to KPN I'll do that when my contract ends.

Ziggo customer support is worst than anyone can imagine, they are rude and hang call on your face. And they can scream at you because if I will try to explain the issue they will not listen.
I was moving to new apartment and I request technician and I get email that technician came but I was not home but I was all day waiting for technician and the problem is in email it shows technician came to new address but infact technician goes to old address and he behave like rude and I try to reach out to him and request him to come to my new address and there might be some system issue, why behave rudely and ask why you calling me I don’t wanna come and make new appointment and I get email that I have to pay fine of 35 euros and then I try to contact customer support multiple times my call was assigned incompetent people and they said no you should pay first and ask for refund and one person even had time to understand and hang the call and I almost have to multiple times wasting my whole day of work on this company don’t care about their customers, and one lady after multiple calls and trying to explain hey look I have email saying technician came to new address but he goes to old address and it’s your system issue, she said is top up my balance of my account by 35 euros and I will not invoice changes I still have to the same amount I was happy that finally whole of struggling with such incompetent people someone able to resolve it but when I get invoice for this month it’s still showing 35 euros fine added but no top up. It’s the worst company which you can imagine to deal with. On customer support chat no one is there for hours and hours. It’s like you make a one year contract and after that they don’t care about you. I will cancel my contract end of this fix term and I will recommend other companies, stay away from this crap

As promised, I’m updating my review. The technician came today exactly as scheduled, fixed and set everything up, and the internet is now working perfectly.
Everything went smoothly, the technician was on time and professional, and so far I’m very happy with the quality of the connection. Thank you!
Very disappointing experience so far.
I received my modem on August 4 and connected it immediately, but it has never worked — the red light keeps flashing.
We contacted customer support the same day. Unfortunately, the agent did not seem particularly helpful and asked almost no troubleshooting questions apart from our address. We were simply told that a technician could come on August 11. So even though I received the equipment on August 4, I may have to wait a full week before I can actually use the internet.
I later tried to contact support again to check whether everything had been properly set up on their side and whether they could see my modem on their network. Reaching anyone, however, has been almost impossible.
Today, Saturday, I spent the entire morning trying to call. The phone menu is completely different from the one we heard earlier in the week, and there seems to be no option to speak to an actual person. If live support is unavailable on Saturdays, that is perfectly understandable but why not simply say so and provide the opening hours? Instead, the automated system keeps sending you through different options without ever making it clear that there may be no agent available at all.
To make matters worse, these calls are not free, so I am being charged for repeatedly trying to reach customer support without ever being connected to anyone.
The phone menu is also only in Dutch. I understand that living in the Netherlands means learning the language, and I am doing so, but technical terminology can still be difficult to understand. Having an English option would make a significant difference in situations like this.
At this point, I can only give one star. I hope the technician resolves the issue on August 11, and if everything works properly afterwards, I will be happy to update my review. But so far, the customer experience and support have been extremely disappointing.

Yesterday afternoon, completely unexpectedly, two large men wearing Ziggo-branded shirts appeared at my door. They said they were from Ziggo and wanted to offer me a contract.
I found this approach intimidating, especially because the fibre-optic cables in the building have already been installed and, at this stage, signing a new contract is simply not an option for me. I told them, “You are two years too late,” because I did not want to enter into a discussion. Instead of accepting my answer, one of them responded, “Because…?” I had to make it clear again that I was not interested.
A clear “no” should be respected immediately. Sending two imposing sales representatives to someone’s door without an appointment is not an acceptable or customer-friendly way to approach potential clients. This visit left me with a very negative impression of Ziggo.

Can’t express in words how terrible this company is. Can’t email them. If you call them, they ask for documents which you can’t send via email because they don’t accept emails - as an internet provider. lol

Very unprofessional customer service. I ended my contract in April, with the last remaining charge scheduled for May. Despite this, I keep getting bills for the months after. Each time I call customer service they say it's a mistake, "fix it", then just bill me again. Called again and was treated like I'm the inconvenience here, while they are literally taking money from my bank account that they are not entitled to. I now blocked Ziggo from being able to take any money from my account. This is embarrassing for a company of this stature and extremely unprofessional.

my recent experience with Ziggo has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have ever had.
I have been without a working internet connection for a few days days. After troubleshooting with customer service, Ziggo determined that a technician needed to visit my home. I specifically arranged my day around the appointment because I have two young children and needed to be home during the agreed time slot.
On the day of the appointment, I stayed at home throughout the entire appointment window. I then received an SMS saying the technician was on the way and asking whether I was home. I replied immediately confirming that I was.
Shortly afterwards, I noticed a missed call from a hidden (No Caller ID) number. My phone never rang—it simply appeared afterwards as a missed call. Because the number was hidden, it was impossible for me to call the technician back.
Realising this may have been the technician, I immediately contacted Ziggo customer service. After navigating long automated menus and speaking to multiple representatives, I was told something I found astonishing: I could not contact the technician, and Ziggo's own customer service could not contact the technician either.
By the time I finally reached someone, the technician had already marked the appointment as "customer not at home."
I explained repeatedly that I had been home the entire time, had replied immediately to the SMS, and had proactively contacted Ziggo while the appointment was still ongoing. I even asked whether the technician could simply turn around and return, as the report had only just been entered. I was told this was impossible because nobody could contact the technician.
As a result, I now have to wait another week for a new appointment, despite doing everything that was expected of me.
To make matters worse, I was informed that I would be charged a €35 no-show fee because the technician had reported that I was not at home. After a lengthy discussion, the representative told me she would "make a note" on my account and hoped that I would not be charged. I have received no written confirmation that this fee has actually been waived.
What disappointed me just as much was the lack of an accessible complaints process. Ziggo does not provide a direct email address where customers can submit a formal written complaint. Instead, customers are expected to navigate lengthy automated phone menus, use a paid 0900 support number, or rely on an dutch AI chatbot. For a company providing an essential service like home internet, this is simply not good enough.
The issue is not that appointments sometimes go wrong. The issue is that Ziggo's process gives customers no practical way to resolve a misunderstanding in real time:
technicians call from hidden numbers that cannot be called back;
customer service cannot contact the technician;
there is no direct written complaints channel;
and the customer is left waiting another week for an appointment they did not miss.
I wasn't asking for special treatment. I was simply asking Ziggo to acknowledge that I was home and to allow the technician to return before incorrectly recording me as a no-show.
I expect much better from one of the largest internet providers in the Netherlands. I sincerely hope Ziggo reviews this process, because no customer who is present, responds immediately, and proactively contacts customer service should end up being recorded as absent with no way to correct the mistake.

Headline: Do not open that door! Trapped in a 3-year nightmare by a dishonest agent.
"Opening the door to a Ziggo sales representative was the worst financial mistake I have made. Almost a year ago, an agent came to my house and explicitly promised a 1-year contract for €35/month. Instead, I discovered I was fraudulently locked into a 3-year commercial contract, with the price now skyrocketing to over €60/month.
Furthermore, the agent promised to handle the cancellation of my previous provider (KPN), but they failed entirely. As a result, I was forced to pay double bills to both companies for three full months. When I tried to reach out to the sales agent to resolve this nightmare, he completely vanished and blocked my phone number.
This business model relies on predatory door-to-door tactics, unfulfilled promises, and trapping customers in long-term contracts under false pretenses. Disgusting customer care. Fortunately, I am permanently deregistering my business and emigrating. If anyone from Ziggo is reading this: do not open your door to their agents unless you want to be scamming
