Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 871 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people encountered significant issues with delivery services, frequently reporting lost or misrouted packages, and experiencing considerable delays. Customers consistently found the customer service to be unhelpful and difficult to reach, often describing staff as rude or uncaring. This led to a general perception of unreliable and incompetent service. However, some customers also noted positive experiences with specific local post offices or individual staff members. A few reviewers praised certain mail carriers or local staff for their professionalism, helpfulness, and dedication to providing excellent service. These interactions show that some employees are committed to effective mail and package delivery.

Well the USPS is paid by the taxpayers they don't really have to do their " job" because they know they will get paid. Come on postal employees take a little pride in your job. 5 days and my small little box is still making a tour of Florida. The place it was shipped from!!

Terrible services

Terrible services, package lost and the times and date provided for the delivery were way off. It ended up costing me my package by it being lost. I was home and they updated the status randomly to dropped off in mailbox. Went to check and there was nothing there.

Passport office still closed at 9:45am…

Made a 9:15am appointment for a new passport application at the post office at 1301 E. Bardin Rd, Arlington, Tx 76018 2 weeks ago & received numerous text & email alerts to be sure to arrive early so appointment will start on time. It is now 9:15am & the passport window/section is STILL locked up. Myself & another gentleman were here 15 minutes before our scheduled appointments. We asked 20 min ago for a supervisor. This is RIDICULOUS!

Use a different delivery service.

Unfortunately my seller used a delivery service that requires a low IQ to work at. You guessed it, the USPS. My apts do not require a pin to get into, and even tho the sticker clearly shows the correct address, I didn’t get my item. I understand mistakes happen, but this isn’t the first or 2nd time this happens to me. Do better please.

If I could give this company zero I…

If I could give this company zero I would. They have my parcel and won't track it and won't sort it for me despite me being on the phone for ages. It does appear they keep packages and do what with them? I evidently have to have a UK tracking number but I have a US one from the company who posted the parcel and they won't track that.

HORRIBLE mobile customer support agents

I had a truly disappointing experience with USPS today. A package I had sold to a customer was never delivered because of an "incomplete address," an issue I have never encountered in my many years of shipping with USPS. For some strange reason, they decided to return the package to me without any proper explanation. I was never notified of this and would've never known without the customer telling me. I checked their address and it definitely appears complete and is a real address, so no idea why they couldn't deliver it. I struggled for hours to get on the phone with a REAL support agent after being stuck going back and forth with a stupid AI-automated clanker. After finally getting on the line with a real person, I had to wait 20 minutes, only to be greeted by an incredibly rude and condescending lady. She simply repeated out loud what the tracking site was telling me, that the address was incomplete blah blah blah, and said there is nothing she can do. The entire time she spoke in a disrespectful tone. I asked if the package could be intercepted or if I could at the very least have a proper explanation as to what happened and she simply repeats the same thing again in a montonous voice, that the address was incomplete. No way???? Literally no different than what the clanker from before was telling me. I waited far too long for a real person to assist me, only to be told the exact same thing. No wonder it is so hard to get through to a real agent. They are equally as useless as the bots. It was very clear this so-called customer support agent did not want to do her job nor did she want to help in any way shape or form, and based off of almost every review here, my experience is not a unique case at all. I am so extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism by these support agents. Whoever the lady I spoke with, she is absolutely not fit for a customer support job and I have no idea how she was selected for that role. They DO NOT CARE. I understand if she truly might not have been able to do anything on her end, but the manner in which she talked to me felt like she was talking down on me like I was stupid, which no customer should ever have to experience. Even if she couldn't have helped me much, I would not have to write this review if she had just spoken to me with basic level respect that should've been learned in kindergarten. This poor review only goes to the horrible customer support agents on the phone, and not to my local post office who always provides excellent customer service and are always willing to help.

The USPS is a criminal empire

The USPS is a criminal empire that needs to be dissolved. The service is broken. Customer service is non existent. The constant price increases are robbery. The once prestigious service is dead.

The United States Postal Service in forney tx

The United States Postal Service in Forney Texas 75126 is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. This is the second time they have sent my important mail to another mailbox and luckily the paycheck that came last week was delivered but the neighbour came out of my door and gave it to me but today the title to my car was supposed to be delivered to my mailbox but it was delivered to someone else’s mailbox again. I’m sick of this mail carrier. We just need someone who’s reliable to deliver the mail. This is very bad customer service and then when I called 800 number or going in person they will tell me the informed delivery is inaccurate. Well it’s not, every other time at other locations when I get a notification that my informed delivery said my mail was delivered, it was there. This carrier has to be stopped ill sue yall about my important mail. This is the title to my car. It seems that all the junk mail gets delivered to the correct mailbox but important mail doesn’t

I hope USPS goes out of business

I hope USPS goes out of business one day and gets replaced by a better company that actually gives its employees a purpose to live for. Absolute scam artists over the smallest inconveniences ever.

Late delivery notices

There is absolutely no reason for packages to be shipped from Pulaski NY to Seneca Falls when my delivery address is in Pulaski NY.
When we wait weeks for delivery to take place and a delivery date says "expected today"; but instead your package leaves your town post office same day on a delivery vehicle then headed more than an hour away. This is poor business practice and exactly why people dont get their deliveries on time. This is beyond ridiculous.
