I have been a customer for over a year…
I have been a customer for over a year since I got a mortgage with the bank. I was very satisfied with the service especially how good and professional the customer service was. Now after the merger it surprising how bad the service has become to the point that I wait for very long for simple questions, I don’t get any useful reply or I directly don’t get a reply. I didn’t even got a reply when reaching to ask to change advisor and highlight the bad quality of the customer service

Personal interaction excellent with tips on upscaling
My interaction with Helle who is my RM in the bank was good. In half hour, I had my doubts cleared.
However, as I mentioned to Helle, it would help if:
a) the website was updated to show the daily foreign exchange rate on the front side
b) the fees listed for services on the website
c) if there could be an English option as language besides danish, considering the bank has international customers who may not be completely fluent in danish official language.
d) to have safety or security boxes in my branch. (Lyngby)

Great staff and offers
I was in touch in order to get a bank loan. Very nice services and great staff. I wan in touch with Lyngby department and my advisor was "Jonas Bang Nielsen", very nice guy and department. All they did was to help me figure out the best way for me. We had a really good chat with him and he helped me to understand the complex calculation in an easy way.it is a highly suggested bank to consider if you wanna buy a property.

Trying to open a bank account
I have been trying to open a bank account, but I didn't hear anything efter filling in the 'besked'. So I called them and I am in disbelieve how they treated me. I just moved to Denmark so I don't have a Danish phone number yet and she treated me very rude because of it. Saying this like: "Why don't you have a Danish phone number? You live in Denmark?" To which I answered, but I just moved here 2 months ago. Then I got the answer: "2 MONTHS?!! and you still don't have a Danish phone number??? Tsssss" How disrespectful can you be! Everybody that moved to another country knows how much effort and time it takes to get a job, CPR number, phone number, bank account... Not to mention you need a CPR number to get a Danish phone number in a long-term contract! So this was a horrible experience for me, my conclusion: don't ever become a member at Spar Nord as an expat!

So by the end of the day I am truly sorry that you have had a bad experience with us. This is not what we hope for when we welcome new customers in our bank. First attempt: fulfilled the online application to get called, never received one.
Second: call the bank directly to get some help, they told me to go to their physical Office.
Three: went to the physical Office, "Hej I would like to open a bank account", the lady said "no, you have to fulfil your application online.
What a bank !
