Trying to open a bank account

I have been trying to open a bank account, but I didn't hear anything efter filling in the 'besked'. So I called them and I am in disbelieve how they treated me. I just moved to Denmark so I don't have a Danish phone number yet and she treated me very rude because of it. Saying this like: "Why don't you have a Danish phone number? You live in Denmark?" To which I answered, but I just moved here 2 months ago. Then I got the answer: "2 MONTHS?!! and you still don't have a Danish phone number??? Tsssss" How disrespectful can you be! Everybody that moved to another country knows how much effort and time it takes to get a job, CPR number, phone number, bank account... Not to mention you need a CPR number to get a Danish phone number in a long-term contract! So this was a horrible experience for me, my conclusion: don't ever become a member at Spar Nord as an expat!

I am sad to hear about your experience. Some of the things you mention in your review are just really bad coincidences and some are rules set by the government but carried out by the bank. So by the end of the day I am truly sorry that you have had a bad experience with us. This is not what we hope for when we welcome new customers in our bank. I hope, that you can find a bank, that will match you when we clearly could not.
