In 1953, SW Hart and Co., a pioneering plumbing company based in Perth, decided that the sun was the best energy source to heat water in Western Australian homes. As a result, solar hot water in Australia was born and Solahart geared up for expansion.
Since then we’ve built a reputation as a world leader in solar innovation and technology and invested millions of dollars into R&D and manufacturing. We’ve also installed over one million systems in over 70 countries around the world. We’re at Everest Base Camp and Antarctica. Even Nelson Mandela’s South African home had a Solahart system installed on the roof.
Today, after more than 65 years as Australia’s solar energy experts, we’re set to turn our brilliant past into an even brighter future.

Easy selection process, absolutely fantastic product. Installation went smooth and I am totally over the moon. Last seven month 1 x Tesla Battery = 0 Dollars to Electricity Retailer.

A crew of 5 men was given the task of removing my old solar generating system and to replace it with State of the Art solar panels and power wall. it was a pleasure to see the crew working together as a good team. Suffice to say that the team was polite, professional and did the job that was supposed to take two days, in one day and sometimes in the rain.

Well I thought the young guys that came and did the installation were more than capable but just under the pump. The job was done in a hurry as they were trying to get as much done as they could and then drive back to Geraldton.
All seamed done. As all lights working and it was up and running or so I thought. Western power came last week to do inspection and it would seem my batteries are not doing what they are meant too. Then I find out that the power point that they took out of my meter box was not illegal. It was just so that they didn’t have to do an upgrade on my meter box. To say that I’m not happy Jan is an understatement. These young fellas are under the pump. They make mistakes and that’s understandable but for my batteries to not even be working when the power is switched off is not understandable.
Just wondering how long it will take before they come back and upgrade my meter box and get a my batteries working?

From the initial consultation to the installation of my new solar & battery system was outstanding. I loved the level of detail presented at the consultation stage, it was so informative giving me all the information needed to make a decision. The installation process was seamless. The work done by the installation team was high quality. Friends and other Tradies have remarked on the quality and neatness of the work done of the battery installation. I would highly recommend Solahart for Solar and battery installation.

Sola Hart quickly and efficiently fitted my heater in a fine space of weather during a particularly wet time.

It took months. Some of the hold up was Ergon but finally it’s up and running. One panel was faulty still waiting on replacement. The panels are working and exporting into the grid. Admin were very helpful. The Goodwe installer’s were really good and cleaned up their mess.

Began well with Rockingham Solarhart . Liked Gary’s way of selling his product and company.
Things went sideways when the sales team had a member leave and not all information passed on, the team at Rockingham then picked themselves up and moved on,
The install went without problems and the system is working well

Professional friendly and efficient staff, with quick delivery and installation.
We can't believe the product has sky-rocketed, The original product was closed and the one in 2026 an open circuit both the same capacity and the same kind of booster.
Originally we paid in 2004 $1,700 and in 2026 we paid $7,978 which is huge increase.

Have used Solahart for at least 30 years now, they have stood the test of time and they are reliable. We have had solar hot water, now on our second for this house. Also have solar panels on the roof. Would also consider a battery at some stage.

Good communication re the installation and delays, Efficient installers. I felt we didn't get enough info on panels and what the harvest would actually be, we expected yields to be greater than 5kw but actually it is 2.3- 3kw so far, with 6.3 SYSTEM. We bought a hot water relay and with these yields we would be better with off peak, We have had to have this reconfigured at our cost to have a switch to change from solar to off peak, so not explained well enough. The address for the service on QR code and paper work in meter box is incorrect!! It is listed as St Andrews Retirement village which is 2 blocks from us, this should have been checked.

From start to finish Solahart made things very easy for me. They were always ready to answer questions and to show me all that I needed to know. A very smooth and pleasant experience. I would recommend Solahart to anyone.

Very disappointed with a few aspects on the process.
I find the communication of Solahart left a lot to be desired, including an unsatisfactory quotation that cost me an extra $700 after the completion of the works. This manifested in repeated emails demanding payment of the said $700 blow out, this without speaking to me personally, which I fond distasteful.
My other concern is that I believe my battery is grossly under engineered as well (too small). I am yet to hear from them regarding that, which was conveyed to Solahart 8 days ago. So I’m not confident of a successful outcome unfortunately considering past experiences.
So in conclusion, the best thing I could say to people considering Solahart for their installation is to “prefer others.”
Thank you
Ron
