Yo LoveUh...

Yo, this beyond all temptation, love, divinity, and grace is a very secure and kind place to be in audio sound bytes town. I think the times we find the most excellent experiences we often don't always confide in love, but in hate and mockery... I love y'all! Peace and Blessings...

Ditto Music banned my account, blocked my royalties and provided no specific evidence

**Title: Ditto Music banned my account, blocked my royalties and provided no specific evidence**

I am Thiago Bastos, an independent gospel artist and the person responsible for Bastos Music. My Ditto Music account was used to manage releases connected to Thiago & Jéssica, Thiago Bastos and Jéssica Bastos.

On 9 June 2026, I received a generic email stating that artificial streams had allegedly been detected on my music. However, Ditto did not identify the affected track, ISRC, platform, country, period, number of streams or value involved. I was not given an individual technical report or any specific evidence that would allow me to understand or challenge the allegation.

Despite that warning, on 22 June 2026 Ditto accepted my payment of R$299.49 for the annual Label 5 subscription plan, invoice number 509077. Then, on 1 July 2026, my account was banned.

I lost access to my dashboard, releases, analytics, royalty reports and withdrawals. At the time, I expected to receive approximately R$12,000 in royalties. I cannot confirm the exact amount because Ditto removed my access to its financial reports.

My catalogue remained available on digital platforms, generating streams, while I was unable to access the account, review the reports or withdraw the legitimate royalties generated by my music.

I want to state clearly what I have never done:

I have never purchased streams, followers or listeners.

I have never used bots, automated replay software, click farms, VPN farms, device farms or stream-exchange systems.

I have never purchased packages promising guaranteed streams.

I have never hired or authorised any person or company to artificially manipulate my music statistics.

I have never participated in groups created to repeatedly play songs or exchange artificial streams.

Before this accusation, I had never searched for or attempted to use this type of service.

My music was promoted through my own public gospel playlists, my existing audience, social media, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and normal organic promotion. I am a playlist curator and include my own songs alongside other gospel artists. One of my playlists grew significantly, but real audience growth should not automatically be treated as fraud.

I already had a legitimate music history before joining Ditto. Part of my catalogue had previously been distributed through Warner/ADA, and I transferred much of it to Ditto because the company promoted a model in which independent artists could receive 100% of their royalties. I also have releases handled through SoundOn that remain active without this type of accusation.

I sent explanations and supporting material, including artist analytics, playlist information, previous distribution history, social media activity, evidence of my audience and proof of the annual subscription payment. I requested a genuine human review and a detailed explanation identifying exactly what Ditto considered artificial.

I am not against anti-fraud controls. Streaming manipulation harms legitimate artists. However, an artist should not lose an entire account, catalogue access and royalties based only on a generic allegation without receiving the specific evidence behind the decision.

The consequences have been serious. This affected my releases, my professional planning, my income and the music projects connected to my family. These royalties are not just numbers on a screen; they are income generated by years of work.

I am asking Ditto Music to:

1. Conduct a genuine human and individual review of my account.
2. Identify the tracks, ISRCs, platforms, dates, countries, quantities and values allegedly affected.
3. Release all legitimate and undisputed royalties.
4. Restore access to my account or allow the safe and complete transfer of my catalogue.
5. Refund the annual subscription if Ditto refuses to continue providing the service that was paid for.

Until Ditto provides specific evidence, transparency and a fair opportunity to respond, I cannot recommend this company to independent artists. My experience has been extremely stressful and damaging.

artist mapping

I think there should be an option to select new artists so they aren't linked to previously created profiles when uploading a song by a new artist. Someone unfamiliar with the process might think the song would be uploaded to a new channel, not another profile, because there's a reason to announce an official release date.

The process is convenient

The process is convenience, but the release date is quite too long to proceed without paying extra more money, the release date should be shorter after add music into the ditto system.

Ditto is predatory and ableist, stay away.

Ditto suspended and cancelled our account due to what they deem as fraud. They were unable to produce evidence of said fraud and when given evidence of the contrary(again, as this was the second time we have had to deal with this, the first they accepted the same evidence...) they refused to budge. We are autistic and our audience is largely neurodivergent which means they do in fact listen to our music and at times they repeat songs(not more than 3 times a day as the data from Ditto's own records show). Ditto is predatory of smaller artists and have clearly ableist policies. Any money earned has been held back as well which means Ditto have also fraudulently earned off our music. Stay away from this distributor.
