We had an emergency situation with our dishwasher at our summer house while guests were staying there, and it needed urgent repair. We had to organize everything remotely, in a situation where it was difficult to ensure someone would be at the house to open the door.
After repeated calls and no one being able to tell us when a technician could arrive, Andi from customer service was the only person who directly contacted the technician to arrange a specific time.
The dishwasher was still under warranty and needed a part replacement. Everything is working perfectly now.

Terrible customer service. We had 3 Bosch Aircon units installed in our house bought by our Aircon engineer. Within 5 months our bedroom outside unit started making a terrible loud noise. Our engineer called them to take a look as was still in warranty. Took 5 months for Bosch to send thier engineer to look at the problem properly. They determined 2 months ago that the compressor was gone and have apparently ordered a new one. Every time our engineer chases they say they are still awaiting the unit to arrive. Where is it coming from Mars? Now 7 months in and still not fixed. The hot weather is coming and we'll need to use our Aircon to sleep. Steer clear of Bosch. If it goes wrong there is no help and it's truly lengthy, frustrating and stressful to get it corrected. Not worth it.

Update: I contacted Bosch Aircon as advised, even though that's exactly what our installer has been doing. That was a month ago and no reply. I rest my case. An engineer from Bosch finally came out after chasing by our Installer. Fiddled around for 10 mins as they did months ago and still not fixed or new box sent out. Been waiting two weeks since for them to let our installer know what's happening and they are ignoring him. Now 9 months with a broken Aircon unit. I'm aware this isn't the right section to review, however, the advice you gave had led yet again to another dead end.

I bought two small Bosch blenders in the past two years. Both lasted only 9 months. I thought Bosch was a reputable brand, but clearly this is now debatable.

I bought the Bosch stick vacuum and used it infrequently for 3 months and the short hose in the power head has already detached and developed holes along the wires. This has led to a drop in suction and cleaning power. The hose is made with very cheap thin plastic and not durable. Very poor quality for the premium price.

It was a cheap bearing of low quality that failed.

Ordered replacement vegetable compartment for fridge. When it did not fit and we ordered a replacement because this was beyond the 14 day return period, Bosch would not accept a return and credit. What kind of customer service is this?

Bought a Bosch water heater 2 years 5 weeks ago and it broke. Were Bosch concerned?No. conveniently it was 5 weeks out of warranty. When I contacted them I was told the technician would call to make an appointment, but no. Complained to the CEO by email and just received an email from some minion with, basically, a kiss off. Disgusting.

Lost item, bad service.
I ordered 4 things, all the appliances to be installed arrived and were installed, that is a plus! But I also ordered a vacuum cleaner and they have not delivered it for weeks now! I called several times, wasting a lot of time, and they simply cannot solve the issue. Lots of promises, no delivery! They are unwilling to simply send another one until they find the original one, but it has been weeks!

FOLLOW UP:
In the past two weeks, we’ve received between 5 and 10 deliveries per day without any issues. Bosch was the only company whose courier failed to deliver. According to their customer service, the delivery team “tried to contact me,” but no one could tell me from what number, and no attempt was made to reach out via email — which they clearly have.

This isn’t about whether someone rang my phone; it's about the complete absence of a functional delivery process or any backup communication. If I hadn’t chased them multiple times, would they have just forgotten the order entirely?

Still no clear explanation, no phone number provided, and certainly no accountability.

I left a review on their website for one of their products, that review and all the 1, 2 or 3 star reviews have been purged from their product pages, leaving only 4 & 5 star reviews. Shameless.

Bought a Bosch fridge freezer KGN39VLEAG/01, 3 months later it was buzzing like a bee, way above the noise decibels specified. Called Bosch and they sent out a technician. He reluctantly visited our property the second time and changed three parts in a new fridge recently purchased, covered under the 1year warranty it came with. We asked for a replacement, they declined, preferring to send a technician instead.

Two and half years later, fridge stops working, freezers continues to work. We call them again, they wanted £250 for repair warranty each year or £120 for a one-time technician call out plus the cost of any part. You get the story....

The Old Bosch company and products, is dead and buried. The current day Bosch has the name, not the glory and durability of the products. The old Bosch fridge freezer we had lasted 14+ years. This new and expensive fridge freezer barely lasted 2.5 years. The UK customer service team don't seem to care about pride in Bosch products or customer concern. They seem to be mired in corporate bureaucracy.

No company effort to help with their broken product worth £800 and less than 3 years old, without making you pay for the product the second time. Bosch has fallen.

Buying a Samsung replacement. Never to buy Bosch again.

In the recent years I bought a Bosch coffee grinder and a immersion blender. They worked as expected during the first 2 years and something; I treated them with care and never used for prolonged time or with food too hard to grind. After that, one after the other, they died: the engine lost power making the tools useless (same happened to my friend who bought the same coffee grinder at the same time). Is it my conspiracy theory or also this well established company sells product that are made for lasting just enough to overcome the expiration of the guarantee and to give the sensation to the customer that they lasted long enough, and (s)he's willing to buy another one? I am not a mechanical engineer but I am pretty sure they would be able to produce much better engines for their product, but it's not their philosophy anymore apparently.

I already written a nice review in 2015 for shipping but now I have to make a bad one for the washing machine. It broke several times and after 8 years it completely died. I thought it was one of the most popular brands but I was wrong. Listen to my opinion and dont't buy this brand anymore. A washing machine that only lasts for 8 years is absurd! The model was Aqua vigil 6 kg top loading WOT20226IT

We already liked the Bosch reputation and having had the occasional Bosch appliance in various countries, we knew what we wanted when it came time to renovate the kitchen in our new house in Spain. What really sealed the deal was the Customer Service we received from the online chat. Dalila is fabulous, patient and professional. We talked to her almost daily for a week or so with questions and requests and she never once made us feel like we were bothering her. We spoke to other people in the company also and they were good, but Dalila really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. We look forward to receiving a kitchen with brand new Bosch appliances and will enjoy the technical and aesthetic features that have been associated with the Bosch name! Thank you

Disgraceful service from this Bosch and from their agents in Tarragona, BSH. I had a cooker hood, less than 2 years old and under warranty. To avoid having to go straight to the warranty service I asked a local technician to see if a quick fix was possible. After a quick look they said I need to contact Bosch, which I did. BSH arrived and completed a repair without any authorisation, and presented me with a bill for 380 euros because they said 'the unit had been interfered with'. This was only a basic check and no attempt to fix the unit was done. Bosch, and these agents BSH, are scammers. Avoid.

My washing machine has been awaiting parts for over 6 weeks. Several dates for the arrival of the parts have come and gone. I was advised to take out a D&G policy to cover the initial repairs and offer a replacement machine, should further repairs not be possible.
I contacted Bosh and they referred me to D&G, who have failed to respond to my email and phone call. I reverted to Bosch and they now have informed me of a date for the arrival of the part, which cannot be guaranteed! Six weeks without a working machine. I have emailed Bosch but have yet to receive a response.
My Bosch ticket reference #04702622. Which I confirmed by responding from my email. My appliance model WAQ2446, serial No.09252. I am completely fed up with the lack of care and attention.

BOSCH Therm 5600S butane running on system potable water from Dermope.
Started to leak badly. The heat exchanger has a hole in the quite cheap and thin copper. Filled the boiler with water.
Gave the warranty service all the details they turned up a week ago I thought to repair it but no they were only interested in testing the water to try and get out of repairs.
A week later still nothing from Bosch and no hot water.
In the UK Bosch is great. We have had them for years and service is excellent.
Here in Spain they appear to just want to get out of fixing an obviously faulty product.
Will never buy Bosch again.

Bought an upright cordless vacuum cleaner and it is complete rubbish! No good on short pile carpet! as you pull the vacuum backwards it jutters along....it will be the last one that I buy from Bosch!

Bosch repair service from Alicante is terrible. When you call they say that a repair man will call the next day and it never happens. I have called everyday day for 5 days and no repairman has called me back. We have been without a washing machine for weeks and no-one at Bosch cares. All they want to do is sell you extra warranty. We have only used the washing machine for 4months and it is not fit for purpose. Think twice before spending so much money on a brand that does not provide a quality product and zero aftercare

Disgraceful customer service. Bought a steam generator iron that blew steam and water out dangerously after every third use. Returned it four times for repair only to have it returned, unrepaired, unreplaced and a huge argument to try and prove where I actually bought it. Several emails to and fro got me nowhere with this company and I would NEVER EVER purchase another Bosch item due to their lack of customer care. AVOID at all costs.
