Consumers frequently experienced frustrating issues regarding appliance quality, unexpected breakages, and severe hardware failures shortly after purchase. People also encountered unhelpful support agents, difficult communication channels, and lengthy delays when attempting to resolve warranty claims. Shoppers heavily complained about unfair trade-in valuations and persistent difficulties receiving proper assistance from customer service representatives. Very Disappointing Customer Service…

Very Disappointing Customer Service Experience

I recently purchased several Samsung appliances for my home, and unfortunately my experience with Samsung’s customer service has been extremely disappointing.

As part of my purchase, Samsung offered four months of Tide as a promotional gift. The issue should have been simple: the link provided to redeem the promotion did not work.

I contacted Samsung multiple times expecting an easy resolution. Instead, despite reaching out for help, they were unable to resolve something as basic as providing a working link or another way to redeem the promotion.

The value of the Tide promotion itself is not really the issue. What concerns me is what this experience says about Samsung’s customer support. If the company cannot resolve such a simple promotional problem, it makes me seriously question what kind of support I will receive if one of my major appliances actually has a problem and needs service or repair.

I purchased multiple Samsung appliances because I trusted the brand and expected the customer experience to match the quality and reputation of the products. Unfortunately, this experience has significantly reduced my confidence in Samsung.

Samsung should understand that customer loyalty isn’t only about selling good-looking appliances. The quality of the support after the purchase matters just as much.

I hope Samsung takes this feedback seriously and improves the way these issues are handled.

Premium Product, Shockingly Unprofessional Delivery Experience

purchased a 467L Samsung Bespoke AI Double Door Refrigerator (Order ID: IN260831-72900511) expecting a premium experience. Unfortunately, the delivery service was one of the worst I have ever encountered.

Only two delivery personnel arrived to deliver a very heavy refrigerator to my 5th-floor apartment. I specifically requested them to arrange additional manpower because it was clearly unsafe. Instead of listening, they removed the protective packaging and attempted to force the refrigerator into the lift.

As a result, they damaged the refrigerator door, leaving a visible dent on a brand-new appliance.
What happened next was even more disappointing. The delivery executives threw away all the protective packaging, abandoned the damaged refrigerator in my parking area, and left without completing the delivery or offering any assistance. They also stopped responding to my calls.

Because of their negligence, I had to arrange porter services myself, incurring an immediate cost of ₹3,000. Since the replacement refrigerator will also require porter assistance, I will have to spend another ₹3,000, resulting in an unnecessary loss of approximately ₹6,000 due entirely to Samsung's delivery partner.

The damaged refrigerator still remains in the parking area, exposed because the delivery team discarded all the protective packaging.

I have already raised this issue with Samsung and have photographic evidence of the damage. I can also provide CCTV footage, porter receipts, payment records, and call logs to support every aspect of my complaint.
I expected far better from a brand like Samsung. A premium product deserves professional delivery and responsible customer service—not damaged goods, abandoned deliveries, and customers bearing the cost of the delivery team's negligence.
I hope Samsung resolves this matter promptly by replacing the damaged refrigerator, reimbursing the additional expenses I have incurred, and taking appropriate action against the delivery personnel so that no other customer has to go through such an experience.

Oh my goodness!

Oh my goodness!! Samsung has made it impossibly difficult to order an accessory to my Samsung phone?
Went to my account and it would not complete my checkout.
Went to find help for this issue which is where my nightmare continued!
Phoned number and it absolutely would not provide me with a human being and the stupid recorded voice would not and could not solve anything...all it did was frustrate me?
Worse experience and looking for an alternative phone to provide better options on adding accessories with less stress! Better company with better customer service!!!
Suprised Samsung sells any products with customer service like this?

Unprofessional behavior and improper diagnostic procedures by Samsung Turkey Authorized Service

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by Samsung Authorized Service in Istanbul, Turkey, regarding my flagship TV model QE65QN900ATXTK (8K Neo QLED with Slim One Connect Box).
The technician visited my home without bringing any testing equipment or a spare One Connect Box. On this flagship model, the LED backlight power and driver circuitry are supplied directly through the One Connect Box. Standard Samsung service protocol worldwide dictates testing the TV with a spare, functioning One Connect Box to determine whether the fault lies within the box or the panel.
Instead of performing a proper diagnostic, the technician made an unreasonable and unauthorized proposal:
"We don't have a spare test box. You can pay 25,000 TRY (~$700+) to order a new box for testing. If it turns out the box is not the problem, you forfeit that money, keep the part, and then we will charge you 98,000 TRY (~$2800+) for a full panel replacement."
The technician refused to check the internal power board or test for blown fuses using a multimeter, attempting to shift the financial risk of their own inventory shortage and trial-and-error method onto me, the customer.
Demanding 25,000 TRY just to test a component—with no refund if it fails to fix the issue—and casually quoting 98,000 TRY for a panel replacement without any technical measurement is unacceptable for a global brand like Samsung.
I request Samsung Global Management to intervene, audit Samsung Turkey’s service standards, and send a senior supervisor equipped with proper diagnostic tools and a test One Connect Box to evaluate my TV free of charge.

Youtube not working with tv under warranty. Send for repair, they changed the motherboard and send back it problem persists. Next time i send my tv they said no problem with tv so need to pay dkk 1660. I asked why change motherboard if no problem, technician said we suspect that it could be the problem.
Nice brand where people need to pay to fix the product under warrenty and their technecians fix product just by guessing.

Ordered a Galaxy Ring over 2 months ago. My finger is still bare.

Ordered an S26 Ultra with a Galaxy Ring, a case, magnetic charger and screen protectors. I got a really good deal from using my student discounts. Like it was incredibly good. Well, the three days that UPS tried to deliver it I was in the hospital for 3 days and missed the delivery so it got sent right back. I called to speak with support who told me they couldn't send me my order and id have to create a new one. So I did. I ordered all the same items, except this time all the student discounts had just ended that day. I called again and support told me they couldn't price match an already place order. I have a bad health problems and couldn't afford the ring. I got a cheap case and magnet charger. And ended up paying $400 because I was in the hospital having surgery. On top of that, they never refunded me for my first order. I had to call like 10 times and have support tell me "the escalated it". It took almost a month and a half to get a partial refund because the Ring still says "confirmed" lol. It has said confirmed for over two months now. And every time I try to call and get my money back for that, I keep getting the "I've escalated this" lie. Those rings are expensive and I am poor. Ive had an S21+ since it came out. Ive had Galaxys since the 6 came out. The 21+ was awesome. This S26 Ultra sucks. The mics are horrid. And I paid for a Galaxy wearable 2 months ago that magically disappeared into thin air as far as the actual physical ring or any monetary value applied to it. Maybe if i call support just ONE MORE TIME ill magically get my $400 refund. Thanks Samsung.

Samsung LIES: minus 1,000,000 Stars

I was considering a Samsung smartwatch; an unexpected $130 promotional credit appeared in the Shopping Cart, so I purchased it. The watch band was too small. If Samsung had just had me return the small watch band and sent me the large watch band to replace it, it would have been fine and done.

Instead, Customer Service said to return the original order, then reorder it, and then the “price match” would be handled. Since July 17, 2026, I have "chatted" with (or spoken to) several customer support representatives. Those who promised a response never did respond. Time frames were given - all of which expired with no response.

Customer Service Rep. John Junio advised the following on 7/28/26:
“At the moment, the option for price matching is unavailable until the new order is marked as delivered. Once your Watch8 is delivered tomorrow (7/29/26), you can reach back out to us and we’ll be able to process the $130 price match against your old order.”
John Junio • ‎4:22 PM

Customer Service Rep. Bien advised in an e-mail the following on 7/31/26:
“I’m glad that I was able to help you in regards with your concern to process you a refund for $138.44 and it may take 3/5 business days before you receive it.”

Customer Service Rep. Francis Kyle Apana advised the following on 8/10/26:
“……your $130 refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 48-72 hours.”
Francis Kyle Apana • ‎7:18 PM

Customer Service Rep. Francis Kyle Apana advised the following on 8/10/26:
“Within 48-72 hours, you will receive an automated corporate billing receipt sent straight to your email. This receipt will officially document the $130.00 credit being pushed back to your original payment method.”
Francis Kyle Apana • ‎7:22 PM

Customer Service Rep. Joshua A De Lima on 8/26/26:
I'm really sorry for the confusion made by your previous representative. However, I've seen on the case number you've provided has an ongoing escalation. So please be assured as I'll be going to follow it up so that the request would be completed, and you can take advantage of the $130 credit.
Joshua A De Lima • ‎4:04 PM

The incompetence of Samsung Customer Service is staggering. It doesn’t take more than 2 months to resolve a simple promotional credit issue.

Today – 9/4/26 – they finally advised that they will NOT honor the $130 promotional credit on the re-order THEY told me to initiate.

Samsung’s tone deafness for customers is unbelievable. I see that TrustPilot shows 88% 1-star reviews for Samsung. That clearly demonstrates a problem. Need I say more?

I fully regret owning multiple (6) Samsung products: 2 TVs, 2 SmartWatches, a tablet and a cell phone. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product, and will be sure to educate friends and acquaintances accordingly.

You have been informed.

I used to swear by Samsung cell phones…

I used to swear by Samsung cell phones for 25 years. You'd think with advances in technology, I would be locked out of my phone and have to have everything wiped clean. All my contacts lost. All my apps lost. Not sure if the $8 left in my Tim Hortons wallet will still be there after I download the app again. Bought Flip 7 in February. Their tech support phone number doesn't work.

Absolute worst order support service…

Absolute worst order support service team ever. They use AI when they don't feel like typing. None are English as a first language. Response time is extremely slow and their escalated support team apparently has zero technology background.

I had an issue in checkout that was clearly a technical issue with how Samsung.com interfaced with Verizon's API. I was told the escalation would take 24-48 hours. I submitted nearly every screenshot of the workflow.

Five days later, I get an email saying the cart rejected the trade-in offer in that it was maximum possible trade. They never looked at the screenshots or researched it whatsoever. The issue was they screwed up the Verizon checkout API configuraiton. I verified the very same integration on Best Buy. I wanted Samsung because they had a special offer on accessories. Because they took so long to reply, the offer I wanted to take advantage of expired.

I'm planning to switch to Apple. I gave them plenty of feedback and received no response. I hope they become the next obsolete tech company.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. We had a oled tv which stopped working after a year. They said they would send someone out which they did. We were then told the part was not available and they would refund our money. They picked up our tv over 3 weeks ago and still nothing. I was sent info via text saying the money would be transferred 7 to 10 business days after they had it and when I complained today the person said I was told 21 to 30 days when I said I had it in writing she said it didn’t matter got aggressive and when I got frustrated she hung up on me. I didn’t get abusive towards her.DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG

GDPR is not a good reason for not a good reason for

I posted a review yesterday regarding the poor and confused service I received from Samsung. The advice from the tech support team was helpful but the shop team did follow through on what I was told would happen.

The excuse seems to be that due to GDPR they cant replace the washing machine at my new address. Very odd as they can send a repair engineer to my new address.

Frustrating to have this argument via trust pilot as Samsung don't seem to have a transparent complaints process.

See below

I am posting on line as it seems impossible to get my case resolved via technical support.

I have moved house. Before moving I swapped my washing machine for a new washer drier, (I have no drying space in my new flat)

Within the first few days the washer dryer developed a fault , it would not recognise the door was shut and would not run.

Samsung sent out a engineer to my new address , who said the PAC board was broken. He recommended asking Samsung to replace the washer dryer

I asked Samsung to do this but they said for "security reasons" they could only replace it at the delivery address the house I had moved out of. Which of course was impossible

I think this is a breach of UK consumer rights legislation

I spent 4 hours on phone trying to get this resolved . I was twice put on hold by the shop team and the call dropped out after half an hour on hold so I had to go back to square one.

The second time I was put through to the shop , I asked the team member to call me if the call dropped out, She said she was too busy to do this. (Have to say the technical support team people who tried to help me were lovely)

First class horrible experience , making me fee physically ill.

Samsung I thought you were better than this . Very disappointed

As replacement seems impossible , I am hoping a repair , which was against the engineers advice will work.

We are sorry to see that your new Washer Dryer developed a fault so soon after purchasing, and you have not received the level of support that we hope to give to our customers, Charles.

In order for our colleagues in the Online Shop Team to action a replacement, it will need to go to the address that is on the order, and this is in line with GDPR rules and regulations that must be adhered by at all times. We cannot make amendments to the delivery or billing details on your order. You can request to return this for a full refund, if this option is available, and place a new order to the new address.

Our colleagues will do everything they can to make sure all issues are resolved promptly and that you have the best solution. If the calls drop, they will do everything they can to get back in touch with you. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and we'll take this on board to help improve our services in the future. I sent my z-fold 7 in for a simple…

I sent my z-fold 7 in for a simple inner screen protector, one of the technicians damaged my screen sent me an email saying they wanted $600 to replace it when I have Samsung Care Plus but that's not the point they damaged my screen. I have been on the phone since 4:00 p.m. it is now 7:00 p.m. Just trying to get a hold of someone that can figure out how I can get my phone back to see what they did. They are literally holding my phone hostage, broke my screen and sent me a bill.. I'm switching to iPhone, as many Samsung products as I've bought this is how I'm treated. I got a s24 Ultra for my son, a s-25 Ultra for my husband, I have my z-fold 7 "they broke" and I just got a flip 8 which I'm selling to buy an iPhone. I should have known better with Samsung, they have literally been caught on video damaging TV screens to try to get money out of customers so I guess when they get your phone in an area no one can see this is what they do. They won't even send me pictures, don't ever buy from Samsung don't make my big mistake.
