I booked Parkingmycar and paid online…
I booked Parkingmycar and paid online in Sicily town Trapani in Port, but later realised without installing mobile application I couldn’t do anything, for some reason I couldn’t install app as I am foreign tourist, no other form of communication, no detail address or phone number provided, at end I couldn’t find the parking, lost €40, finally found random parking for €8 for 8 hours.
My recommendation to people do not follow online scam such as Parkingmycar, go straight to port and find any available parking spots there, it’s plenty of choices.

We are genuinely disappointed by how easily negative ratings are given and defamatory terms such as "scam" are used, unfairly damaging the reputation of a company and the services it provides.
First of all, we would like to clarify that our app is available in all European Union countries. Furthermore, using the app is not mandatory in order to use your booking.
The confirmation e-mail includes a "Voucher in formato PDF" ("PDF Voucher") option, which allows you to download your booking voucher without installing the app. The voucher contains all the information you need, including the parking address, map, contact details and access instructions.
Our app is simply designed to make the parking experience easier by keeping all your booking details conveniently in one place. After all, spending a couple of minutes downloading an app is often far preferable to spending an unknown amount of time searching for an available parking space with no guarantee of finding one.
We also regret that you chose to publish such a severe review without first contacting our Customer Care team.
Our support service is available 7 days a week via WhatsApp, website chat, email, Facebook, Instagram and our telephone support.
Had you contacted us, we would have been happy to provide all the information needed to help you reach your reserved parking space.
We always welcome criticism when it is based on objective facts. However, describing our service as a "scam" is not a matter of opinion: it is a serious and unfounded allegation that misrepresents the reality of the service we provide.

Easy to use
I was asked only to rate my experience booking a spot at this parking, I still have not gone there, so this review is only for booking. That said, the booking process was very easy and the price is very good for airport parking. Just a few days ago I paid 30 euro for 2 hours at a parking garage at this same airport. At this parking it's all day for just a little over 20 euro. This parking is not as close as the first but there is a free shuttle. I actually tried to book a spot at the first place but the process was not easy and was still going to be more expensive.

App was easy to use, but got a parking ticket anyway. Not easy to contest, so 60 euros for fine and 60 euros for rental car fee.

DO NOT USE - poor communication and lack of integrity.
The parking garage did not specify it was in a ZTL zone. I made a reservation and then sent an email to cancel within 10-15 minutes. They will not refund my money even though there are emails showing I cancelled within 15 minutes AND then their response that was not sent until THE NEXT DAY AFTER WE HAD TO MAKE OTHER PLANS.
Lack of integrity and honesty.
Extremely disappointed. Don’t use this service - poor response time, especially when traveling in a foreign country!!

We won’t hide the fact that this feedback leaves us very perplexed,
To be described as lacking integrity and accused of providing insufficient information seems, to say the least, unfair.
As previously confirmed, the information regarding access to the restricted traffic zone (ZTL) was already available, prior to booking, in the ‘Dettagli’ [Details] section of the offer page and, after booking, within your booking confirmation voucher.
Our offices close at 18:00; your email requesting information reached us at around 21:30. We therefore replied shortly after we reopened, at around 09:30.
Our reply simply reiterated this information, which was already available to you, and was in any case sent shortly after our offices opened and before your scheduled arrival at the car park (10.00).
As regards refunds, as stated in our terms and conditions, cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time of arrival at the car park. This information is always visible both when searching for offers and during the booking process.
We know that last-minute unforeseen circumstances can arise; for this reason, we offer the Protection package, which allows you to cancel your booking up to one minute before the start of your parking session, providing greater protection in the event of a change of plans.
Furthermore, we would like to clarify that ParkingMyCar operates as a booking platform: the space booked on our portal remains reserved and allocated to your booking for the entire duration of your stay.
We would like to emphasise that the terms and conditions relating to booking, cancellation and refunds are always clearly set out, so that every customer can make an informed choice.
For this reason, we do not believe there was any fault on our part and, therefore, do not consider it appropriate to grant a refund.
We take all reviews we receive seriously, as they are a valuable tool for continuously improving our service. We are sorry, however, when a negative review stems from a mismatch between the customer’s expectations and the terms and conditions that had been clearly communicated prior to purchase.
We hope that reiterating these points will help to finally clarify the situation.
