Extremely disappointed with Mondial…
Extremely disappointed with Mondial Relay’s service. My experience with this company has been absolutely frustrating from start to finish.
I have been waiting for my package for about a week and a half. During this time, I have had to contact Mondial Relay multiple times myself regarding the delivery. I initially asked them to change the pickup point because the original location was not suitable for me. I discussed this several times with their customer service and clearly explained that I needed my package to be sent to a different pickup point.
I was repeatedly told that the information had been passed on to the courier and that the pickup point would be changed. Everything seemed to be sorted out.
However, my package was eventually delivered to the original pickup point anyway, despite my repeated requests to change it.
I contacted Mondial Relay again and explained the situation. I was told that they would resolve the problem and send my package to the pickup point I had selected. I was also specifically told to wait two days and contact them again if nothing happened.
I waited those two days. Nothing happened. There were no updates and no actual progress.
At that point, I decided to go to the original pickup point myself and try to collect the package, even though the location is very far from where I live. I went there because I simply wanted to finally get my package and put an end to this situation.
But even after doing all of that, I was told that my package was blocked and could not be handed over to me.
So after a week and a half of waiting, numerous messages, repeated requests, explanations and promises from Mondial Relay, I still cannot receive my package — and they are not providing any real solution.
The communication with customer service has also been extremely disappointing. A few employees were polite and respectful and genuinely tried to help me, which I appreciate. However, most of the replies I received were literally one sentence long and provided absolutely no useful information. My questions were often answered without any clear explanation of what was happening with my package or what exactly would be done to solve the problem.
In my experience, Mondial Relay is extremely poorly organised. Information does not seem to be communicated properly, agreements are not followed through, and the customer is left having to contact them over and over again just to find out where their package is and what is actually happening.
I do not expect perfect service, but I do expect a company to follow through on what its employees promise, handle packages according to its procedures, and treat its customers with basic respect.
At this point, my package is still blocked, I cannot collect it, and despite all my attempts to resolve the situation, Mondial Relay has still not provided me with a proper solution.
This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and based on the service I have received, I cannot recommend Mondial Relay.
No refund
Three months ago, they canceled two of my shipments for no reason, and I still haven't received my money back. The customer service is appalling. They either ignore my messages or keep asking the same questions, even though they have black-and-white proof of purchase and photos of their cancellations. I don't recommend them unless you want to lose 40 euros and they won't send the packages anyway.scandalous
Do I have to speak French for a Dutch package service?
The tracking link in the email redirects to the French website instead of the Dutch one. And it doesn't work anyway.
A pidgeon could handle the delivery better
A pidgeon could handle the delivery, customer service and thinking skills better than MR. Last 3 packages have each been months late, had to start a complaint with the local commerce board and even months later when a company uses them without my knowledge, they still mess it up. So we can’t quite speak of growth here. Not sure how this company is still around
My package was sent to a different…
My package was sent to a different location than the one I selected. It’s an hour cycle away from my house. When I got there this morning they couldn’t give it to me because it wasn’t scanned in yet, but still in a bag outside in the rain. I received an email the day before to say it was ready for collection and made a plan with my work to go to this location today because they are only open on week days and from 10h until 14h. How can my package be sent so far away without giving me an opportunity to select a different location before it even left the dc?! How can I get an email to say it’s ready for collection if it’s not?! How can I now arrange to actually get my package before they send it away like this point has previously done with my husbands order?! How can it be that when I phone your customer care they can’t do anything or compensate me in any way?! Probably they won't seeing as there is nowhere via their customer service or online contact forms that actually take complaints or allows you to submit them!
It’s been 2 weeks since my package…
It’s been 2 weeks since my package arrived to Netherlands from France, but 2 weeks they were fulling me, keep changing pick up point. At the end after 2 weeks they said that it went back to sender. No responsible company. Never gonna use this company again! Customer service is terrible
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. It has been almost 3 weeks since I placed my order, and for nearly 2 weeks the package has been shown as “in distribution” with no clear or official information about its actual location. Customer service said they would investigate, but there has been absolutely no result or update.
The service is simply unacceptable, and I will never use this company again.
My experience with MondNo response and unpaid compensation for lost parcelial Relay has…
My experience with Mondial Relay has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
I sent a parcel on January 7th (shipment number: 16374217), which has been officially declared lost. The parcel was insured for €500, but more than four months later, I have neither received my parcel nor the compensation.
Since then, I have:
Sent multiple emails (none have ever been answered),
Filled out several contact forms (no response at all),
Called customer service many times.
The only “solution” I get from their agents is to send more emails or fill out the same forms again, which clearly leads nowhere.
Now, I am being told that they cannot process my claim because they “cannot trust the customer” due to possible fraud cases. I find this unacceptable. I have followed all procedures correctly and can provide proof of all my communications.
At this point, Mondial Relay has:
Lost my parcel,
Ignored all my emails,
Provided no real support,
And is refusing to pay the insurance compensation without valid reason.
After more than four months, I am left without my parcel and without my €500.
This is not just poor service — it feels like customers are being ignored until they give up.
I strongly advise others to be cautious.
Betaald voor een pakket die niet bestaat
Betaald voor een pakket die niet bestaat. I received a message from Mondial Relay - Customer Service stating that a package would be delivered to my address, but no one was home.
In any case, I logged in through their website, registered, and paid €3.90 for the transfer of my package to a store near me. I received a pickup code from Mondial Relay. I was able to track my package using this code. Now, when I try to check where my package is, I get a message saying that there is no package for this code.
Mondial Relay is unreliable and impossible to deal with
I use Vinted a lot – together with my friends and my husband – and we are all running into the same issues with Mondial Relay. Parcels simply never arrive, many show no movement at all from day one. Everyone I know has at least one or more packages that are lost in their system.
On top of that, pickup points in Amsterdam have almost completely disappeared. Where I used to have four nearby, I now have to travel 30 minutes across the city just to collect a parcel. Completely impractical.
Customer service is useless: Mondial Relay (and Vinted, by extension) are almost impossible to reach. If you do get an answer, it’s just a meaningless chatbot reply telling you to “wait a few more weeks.” That is not customer service, it’s driving customers away.
At this point Mondial Relay is absolutely not reliable.
Cheaters
Cheaters! They stole / lost very expensive package and every week i call them i have to wait another week. Today after two weeks i have to wait another two weeks. They have any informations about package/ dont know where package can be. " investigation " is normalny 5 days. I have to wait another 14 days. Cheaters!!!! Not recomend
1 star is too much.
1 star is too much.
Ordered a dress with ASOS to be delivered at pick up point.
Box could not be picked up on time for personal reasons.
Pick up point didn't return the pckage and marked it as delivered.
ASOS and Mondial relay both not accountable. No proof the package was picked it up and way past the return time frame now. DELIVERED TO WHO?
Not reachable thought the phone, a disc keeps repeting my order number and asks to confirm. Shameful.
It’s a joke
It’s a joke. First takes them over two weeks to ship and they end up delivering to the wrong point “close” to the the one I selected - it’s 1h in public transport one way or 2h walk. I’m sorry for not being willing to Uber to pick the parcel. my rerouting request have been ghosted. Unfortunately I will not be travelling two hours to the middle of nowhere to pick it, so I guess I will now wait another two weeks to process the refund. Anyway, Not the first time it happened with this service. It seems - the drivers just drop it all in one location as they see fit and customer service is just ghosting you.
Impossibly Inefficient
Impossibly Inefficient
They get two stars because in most instances your parcel will eventually arrive. Most instances. Eventually. Just like cut-rate logistics companies like the abysmal Homerr, Mondial are the slowest, most inefficient, most vexingly vacant shipping companies in Europe. They are preposterously slow. My latest example (out of at least 10 bad examples); I have a parcel that was shipped from Italy on 26 Feb that has currently been sitting in their Dutch sorting facility for the past 8 days. Unacceptable, but not a surprise. It's always like this. One time they delivered my parcel to a pick up point 40 minutes away and it took a week dealing with their poor customer service people to get it to my city. This is just a bad and largely useless company that should be embarrassed at their inefficiency and inability to improve.
More than 30 days without delivery
I have been waiting for my package 33491018 for more than 30 days and there has been an investigation only to always be extended, have no results and my package is not delivered. Every time I call they tell me I have to wait and that a lot of people are having the same problem and that I just have to wait! Ah come on!!!!!!!!!!
I’d give this company 0 star if I…
I’d give this company 0 star if I could. Parcels delivered to wrong pick up points far away when there are plenty pick up points nearby. Impossible to reach CS by phone or emails. Sent numerous emails stating that it will be responded in 2-5 days but they never did. Utterly garbage service/company.
Can't do their job properly
Took ages to deliver and then promtly delivered to the wrong pick-up point on the other side of the city. Absolutely useless company.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. They have delivered my parcel to another location very far from my home. I incurred in costs and time for going to that other location which I didn’t even pick up, and they are say they’re not responsible. The company didn’t offer any compensation and just gave unprofessional/mediocre answers. Pathetic!
