Ordered an 'in stock' item that took 70 days to arrive

I ordered a product on 25 Feb 2026 that was shown as being in stock, and paid for express shipping. The product didn't arrive and I didn't receive any updates until the 24 March, at which time they wrote to tell me they were awaiting stock of the product and that it was delayed from their supplier. They admitted it had not been in stock at the time of my order being placed. Their revised time estimate came and went, so I followed up again and was given a new timeframe even further out. That date also came and went. I messaged again asking for an update and did not receive one for ten days, at which time I called over the phone - on 1 May 2026. On that day they shipped the product, but with no apology or remorse. I asked for a refund of the shipping fee I'd paid, which they agreed to. I had to proactively push for updates throughout the process, and while the people I spoke with were friendly it was still a dismal experience to deal with first false advertising, then lack of communication, then incorrect delivery estimates.

$7000 item never even sent.

Ordered a $7000 notebook which was never sent. Delays before a postal label was even created (despite the notebook being advertised as available). I had to follow-up with their chosen courier to find out the product was never even despatched (so no monitoring of these things on their end). All I got for such an expensive purchase was a chore.

Unable to replace controller | Corsair AIO cooler

I purchased a Corsair AIO cooler from JW Computers, initially it was not detected, that turned out to be a day of troubleshooting for the Z390 Strix ITX board to get it sorted. A few short weeks later, the AIO lost power, again a day or so troubleshooting I was able to isolate it to the Corsair controller, as I had a spare I was able to test it with. They asked me to send videos, so I did that to indicate the problem clearly.

I requested a replacement Controller box from JW Computers, however they require me to remove the entire Corsair AIO from my PC, which as you can imagine, requires taking the motherboard out.

So, that's a terrible experience for me, I would have thought perhaps they could just sent me a controller, but it seems like they're bound by internal policy.

Ordered on the 2nd

Ordered on the 2nd, knowing the order was "pre-ordered" and stock will come in on the 12th.

No notifications by the 14th, I emailed. Got told they don't know, so I pressed more. Then told it'll only be shipped out by the 29th at best.

It's now the 29th, heard nothing. I had to call them, and only then they admit they still don't have it and no ETA.

Was supposed to be for xmas, we're well past and there's still no ETA.

Here's an idea: don't take orders you can't fulfil. If the dates change, try telling the customer proactively, rather than leaving it to them. You claimed to do better, and literally immediately failed to do nothing again.

Your workers are hopeless! They don't know how to check online orders.

Im just all out of words. I couldn't really explain how these computer tech people are trusted by many. They couldn't even get my order right. I've been waiting for my order since last Tuesday because i paid for express shipping. But i guess these guys who work with computers every day don't know how to check online orders and their stock items. They try blame google for sometimes wrong stock. But its in their website. All i can say is these is the worst place to order online for computer products. These computer tech people don't know how to do their job properly. I recommend office works or something that's is more Australian trusted companies. Not some bullshit JW computer. Shoe shops online order is way faster than your workers checking online orders. Because they took 2 days. Not for express shipping. And yours i paid express and still haven't seen any product or shipping information.

Took 7days to tell me no stock

Ordered memory from them contacted them after 3 days asking for my tracking info. They said they were just waiting on stock from the manufacturer and will be sent soon.

Day 7, email saying product not available from manufaturer. I contacted them about getting some other ram they list as instock on their site. This is also ram they wont have on hand and would need further days to get.

Seems they dont keep barely any stock on hand and just order it in. Crappy buisness model.

Online and delivery

Ordered a 5070 TI gpu on Saturday the 18th, the website saying it'll ship in '2 to 4' business days. Gpu was already processing by Sunday, shipped by Monday and arrived today, Tuesday the 21st. The customer service via email is also ridiculously fast. Despite the controversial reviews I 100% would recommend this company.

Wish I could give zero stars

Wish I could give zero stars. $109 wasted. Be warned! I purchased the Kensington Magnetic Privacy Screen 14". Once you open you can't return. Only measurements are for packaging, not the overpriced flimsy bit of plastic sheet. Claims fits 14" screens, but only 12". I wasted so much time emailing back and forth with the supplier, JW Computers, being accused of providing fraudulent pictures, to find out that as I've opened and applied it to my laptop I was never entitled to a refund. Save your dollars.

Terrible buyer experience. Do not trust google reviews

Ordered a very expensive Laptop out of working hours. Immediately contacted via email to cancel my order after having seen reviews around and having found a better price on a reputable seller. The day after, shop replied they rejected cancelling the order claiming it shipment was already in process. From tracking history I verified this to be a very obvious lie. As a last attempt to find an amicable conclusion to this story, I proposed them to price match the other seller's offer. Apart from informing me they would not cancel the order, he shop never replied to any of my messages.

Bad Support Team

Recently got a headset i had for 2 months. They refused to replace the headset under warranty which the clips have broken on the inside of the headset under normal use. The headset i was using is: DTT1990 Pro MK.II

They said: "This case is quite unusual, as we’ve never seen headsets break in that specific section before."

Its been shown on reddit multiple older headsets from beyerdynamic have had the same flaw with these spots on the headsets they just trying to save money over supporting customers.

I got told to contact the beyerdynamic which i am now. Hopefully they can help me.

Smooth Experience Buying - BenQ MA320U Monitor

I purchased a BenQ monitor for the MacBook series (BenQ MA320U) with express shipping and transit insurance as I am aware that their warehouse is in NSW while I reside in VIC. The whole process was smooth and well-managed. The one thing that could improve is providing their delivery partners such as Direct Freight customer contact numbers to notify they have arrived since less experienced delivery personnel sometimes don't realise that in large apartment complexes you have to key in the unit number at an intercom for the resident to be aware you are at the drop off. We later resolved this swiftly as I directly collected the item from the delivery partner's depot. I have now changed my mind regarding the monitor, after seeing an attractive discount for the "Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 32" Mini LED UHD Curved 1ms 240Hz Gaming Monitor". I will provide a separate review on how the returns process goes.
