I paid extra for the service, but the service is horrible! My internet is down, there are no "known outages" I've been waiting on the line for 35 minutes and the "estimated waiting time" has been betw... See more

Terrible Speed at Ausssie Broadband
My up-till-now great ISP Tangerine sold their Network to Aussie Broadband and everything went downhill fast. My regular 750Mbps connection went down to 100Mbps most of the time, even though I am on a 750Mbps plan. Multiple support attemptes did nothing to resolve it, I just got spam called by rubbish support unable to solve or seemingly even understand anything.
AVOID AUSSIE BROADBAND AND TANGERINE.
1 star is 1 star to many.
1 star is 1 star too many.. been on hold for 1 hour and counting, this is simply unacceptable when charging a premier for the service. I remember signing up to support local business but obviously profits come first so service has become non existent. Suggest looking at other providers
Prices up, service down.
Overcharged (promised one price, only to see months of overcharging). Hardware is junk. Overpriced for what you get. Wait times for tech support is insane. Save your money and time. Go elsewhere.
Useless
Used to be leader in Australia, known for high level customer service and resonable pricing.
They are now one of the worst, charging hugely inflated monthly charges for a service no better than their competitors charging significantly less.
Constant price rises, despite no improvement in their product is now the normal.
Their once superior customer service is now as bad as everyone else’s - I disconnected a month ago (after 10 years with them) for the reasons noted above and was promised a pro rata refund in 5 business days.
Over 3 weeks later, no refund and 40mins on hold to even speak to someone to chase them up.
With any luck they run themselves into the ground.
Avoid at all costs.
Previously loved Aussie Broadband, Not Now
Previously loved Aussie Broadband, that is until I moved and was informed after signing up that the 100 mbs FTTN service wasn't available and I was advised to reduce my plan to the 50 mbs the area can support to save money.
Aussie price their 50 & 100 mbs plans at the same rate. If you are on the 50 mbs you are paying the same and receiving half the service, Aussie are intentionally ripping off customers
Excellent tech support
Excellent tech support, in case of faults, they do not muck around asking to confirm irrelevant things. The service is consistently reliable...

Used to be good but is now easily one of the worst.. Terrible customer service!!
💯 customer service
I wanted to take the time to recognise David from your technical support team for the outstanding support he provided today.
I called for assistance setting up my Grandstream HT802 business phone adapter, and David spent around an hour helping me get everything working. What impressed me most wasn’t that he had all the answers straight away, but that he never gave up. When the documentation turned out to be outdated, he found the newer documentation and worked through everything step by step until we successfully configured the device.
Throughout the entire call, David was patient, professional and genuinely committed to solving the problem. At no point did he try to rush me off the phone—he stayed with me until I was completely satisfied and everything was working perfectly. That level of customer service is rare and deserves to be recognised.
I also wanted to mention that my experience with Aussie Broadband has been excellent overall. Your internet service has been reliable, and I really appreciate the proactive text message updates whenever there’s a planned outage, an unexpected issue, or when services have been restored. It’s reassuring to be kept informed rather than left wondering what’s happening.
Please pass on my sincere thanks to David. He is a real credit to Aussie Broadband, and experiences like this are exactly why I’ll continue recommending your service to others.
poor tech support
disappointing. their network was blocking traffic for my EV charger (Teison). after several weeks of providing clear evidence I got nowhere. moved elsewhere and it worked immediately.
They don't live up to their marketing hype.
After lodging a complaint with Aussie Broadband via the TIO about the unreliability of their internet service to our address, and then receiving a response from their customer service team that basically said "we are sorry for your problems but there is nothing we can do about it" we have decided to end our contract with them. They don't really seem to care about keeping their customers, they are expensive compared to other providers, and they don't live up to their marketing hype.
Standout customer service experience
Standout customer service experience. We've had good service from Aussie Broadband. We do experience some speed issues but I think these result from NBN infrastructure issues rather than Aussie Broadband's offering. Whenever we've had an issue, their customer service team has been helpful, professional, and have communicated well.
Absolute rubbish
Absolute rubbish, paying for 1GB and getting way less than that, what a rip-off.
if there were o stars availavble i…
if there were o stars availavble i would give it.. absolute trash even third world country provide better connection than this trash...
Great customer service
Had an issue with broadband ethernet dropping out after switching out modem, was in the dark for most of the day until dealing with customer service professional Rayna( not sure of spelling sorry)guided me through reset up, she was calm, precise and it made the whole process effortless to deal with, thank you you made a challenging day much brighter.
Really really bad reception doesnt…
Really really bad reception doesnt matter what plan you go with you still only get at best 80mps
Customer service terrible, no one answering phones
Used to be fantastic with very helpful Aussie staff who couldn't do enough to help.
I think it is now an overseas call centre as I was on hold for over 30 mns each time, and gave up.
I was told I was 59 in the queue.
Boring on hold information.
Letter recently sent regarding a price increase was arrogant and poorly written.
Got through to another service provider immediately so I will be changing, also got a better price.
Friends have also cancelled aussie broadband, due to poor customer service. Surprising really as each mobile customer is paying over $300 a year and if thousands cancel it represents a big loss to shareholders. CEO should take a good long look at deterioration in service.
Nothing but issues
Nothing but issues. Have called them more times in 1 year than i did with previous ISP provide in 20 years. Problems with wifi dissapearing, Home phone signal problems over and over and they cant resolve these. They had no answer for the wifi problem so called back a few months later and they resolved it. But out again. Theyre useless.
I have had 50/20 with Aussie broadband…
I have had 50/20 with Aussie broadband for four or five years. Recently upgraded to 500/50 and have never had more issues in my life. Not once have I gotten close to 500. It is more like 150-300. But my internet is worse than the 50 download. I work from home so need fast reliable internet. This is not it. How does ten times faster deliver less?
AVOID!!!!
Constant drop outs, extremely poor customer service. Stay away. Overpriced and unbelievably poor customer service . Rude, condescending and not helpful ! Never again!
Great customer service
I'm not sure if it was the person I spoke to or not but the customer service today was surprisingly helpful. I explained to Hayden that I was over 70 and he would have to walk me step by step on how to restore my internet. He was so patient and even thanked me for being so nice to him. In a world full of impatience it was so refreshing to have such good service.
