Unfair automatic subscription and refusal of full refund
I signed up for a trial period, and without any transparent warning, I was placed on a recurring subscription that charged my card. As soon as I realized, I contacted customer support to get a refund for the months of March, April, May, and June.
However, they refused to issue the refund, using internal excuses and rules about timelines that were never clearly stated in their terms and conditions. I did not use the service during this period, and this is a clear case of hidden terms and abusive automatic renewal.
I demand a full refund for March, April, May, and June immediately. If this is not resolved, I will continue with the formal chargeback dispute through my bank for unauthorized and misleading commercial practices.

Stole money from my daughter!
Clarity Check took money from my 14-year-old daughter’s bank account without authorisation. She spotted four deductions made by Clarity Check - 50p, 50p, £29.99 and £29.99 - even though she has never heard of them.
It’s not clear how she was tricked into sharing her bank or card details but why on earth would a child want to subscribe to Clarity Check’s services? This is theft from a minor.
I contacted Clarity Check but they have not refunded my daughter. I have reported them to the bank and will report them to the legal authorities. What a dreadful, unscrupulous company.

Do not use this scam! I checked a dropped call from a local number. Claritycheck came up on a Chrome search to check the number. I didn't see that it was just an advertisment, carried on and put the number in. After about 10 minutes of searches it asked for my email address to send the results to, which I foolishly entered. It then asked for £1 to get the information! Any charges should be up front before they ask for any personal data.
