The Tapo plugs set up easily and the app generally works, BUT when Notification settings are for NO promotions to receive a survey request FOR A PRODUCT I DON'T EVEN OWN, is plainly ridiculous. Made worse by the totally unnecessary questions their customer service expects me to answer in order to stop that junk!
"Advisors available Monday to Friday 8am-4pm and Saturday 8am-2pm". All you get is the usual Automated Idiot robot & if you don't input what it wants you get cut off! It's impossible to get to a human agent! Chat is even more pointless, if that was possible! Service is non-existent! They rebranded due to Hermes disgraceful reputation, but nothing has changed. Every bit as bad.
Edit: Usual stock response. If you don't understand what went wrong from the comments then you never will! Pointless wasting time with such a pointless company.

It gets 2* because I've "won" the occasional voucher, but nothing of any consequence. Recent voucher prizes are there IMO to placate people who've never had a proper win. Despite many requests I've never been told the actual odds on winning. They say they can't say, what they mean is they don't want us to know just how unlikely a proper win is.

Dear TC Mann,
We really appreciate you sharing your feedback with us, and we're sorry to hear that a significant win hasn't come your way yet – we know that can be frustrating after playing for some time. Regarding the voucher, we want to be clear that this is simply an addition to our existing prize plan. No current prizes have been removed or reduced, and your chances of winning across all of our draws remain exactly the same as they have always been.
On average, the chance of a ticket winning a prize is better than 1 in 4. The chance of winning one of our biggest prizes – Postcode Millions, Millionaire Street, and our £250,000 prize – is better than 1 in 250,000, and the odds of winning a £1,000 prize are better than 1 in 2,000. In 2025, 84% of players won a prize. We hope this gives you a clearer picture and helps to address your concerns.
We truly hope that a bigger win comes your way soon, fingers crossed!
After emails were ignored, I phoned to have a mistake corrected. Agent said it was done. 5 months on & proof it wasn't! Numerous emails, which clearly aren't understood, result in stupid replies from push-button agents! Telling me to do things their system won't allow! Their mistake is costing me money, and they do nothing to correct it!!!

We are truly sorry to hear about the ongoing difficulties and frustration this situation has caused. We are actively looking into this to understand what went wrong and how we can resolve it.
2nd class mail is a 4th rate service! Advertised as "Delivery in two to three working days including Saturdays" it's a joke! Never more than 2 deliveries a week, often only 1 if you're lucky. Posting dates on delivered mail going back 2 or more weeks proves mail is held back. When Ofcom issue fines RM prices go up to compensate! All complaints get are excuses, never any improvement.
It's a pets-only advert site. The current name is misleading, and of no use to the vast majority. Edit: More than 4m don't want to advertise pets, & sticking another ad in your response is cheap!

Thank you for taking the time to share your own personal review. 4 million pet lovers may disagree but we value all feedback. To clarify though, at Freeads, it is FREE to place Ads, including pets, accessories and services.
The phone number displayed on their TV ads comes back to the address of a business centre in London, one occupant of which is a loan company dealing in logbook loans. None of that fits with a company supposed selling mobility scooters. The company clearly don't like it, but this is fact which anyone calling the number can verify. Despite the company reply, 0800 999 5555 is still on their TV ads. Dial it... It's V5 loans"!!!

If the car you get has no issues then you'll probably be okay. But if you have problems then Motability are no help, simply leaving customers to deal with vehicle dealers/manufacturer. They also make contact difficult by not accepting emails & don't even use X (Twitter), & if you write a letter they even question the info provided. Definitely not customer friendly. Latest changes to new schemes are even less friendly.

Despite several complaints, at every login, their advert for an app reappears! So called tech support cannot or will not identify which cookies are responsible, instead it's left to excuse merchants with platitudes. As for their advice to refer to Financial Ombudsman, that's just another fob off. It used to be a good bank, but their poor implementation of technology has gone haywire!

Hi, this issue has been passed to the relevant teams. Thank you for your feedback.-Tom
An 8 month old Golf with WiFi drop-outs on almost every journey, has been ongoing from day 1. An issue widely reported over 18 months ago, yet still not fixed. Supposedly a s/w update is coming, but then so is Christmas, the difference being that we know when Christmas will arrive! From dealers to manufacturer excuses are all that ever come. Disgraceful. Update: Only now, after 9 months VW say my car is not fully online, but cannot say how to get it there! Finally going into dealer in another 2 months. After 11½ months they're going to look at the fault for the first time! In over 55 yrs motoring Volkswagen are easily the worst manufacturer I've even met!
I've never met a more useless bunch! Report a problem & get asked for all info previously given. Then a template response which doesn't address the issue. This happens each time. Matter how long you spend they never provide anything useful. Faceless wonder never accountable for their poor service.
It should be remembered that they still list a company even after that company ceases to be a member of Checkatrade, & there is no indication that such membership has ended. Checkatrade then no longer have any influence over that trade. That could give consumers a false impression of a trade company's worthiness. Checkatrade should make it clear when a company is no longer a member. Edit: Checkatrade said I should leave a review for bad company no longer a member. I did so, but that review has not been published! Nore is it clear that the company is no longer a member, even though Checkatrade have been notified.

Thank you for raising this — we understand why that could be concerning.
When a tradesperson’s membership ends, their profile is not presented in the same way as an active member. Active members are clearly marked and display current membership details. If a membership has lapsed, they should no longer appear as a current Checkatrade member or benefit from the associated visibility and features.
We do not continue to promote or represent a company as an active member once their membership has ended. However, historical reviews may remain visible for transparency, as they reflect past customer experiences during the time the trade was a member.
You’re absolutely right that clarity is important. Consumers should always be able to see whether a tradesperson is a current member. If you’ve seen a profile where that isn’t clear, please let us know the company name and we’ll review it as a priority.
Having queried with them the cost for reply texts they confirmed them to be free, but subsequently this turned out to false. Either they don't know their job or they lied. Given the chance to reimburse they refused to do so. They clearly value a few pence over customer relations! Good riddance to a penny-pinching company. Edit: They had the chance to correct matters but refused. Capital One are gone!

Ordered from them via Amazon but after a week, and on the day of supposed delivery, they had still failed to confirm the order. When contacted via Amazon the response was an auto reply saying the place was closed! That is not customer service!
After reporting an issue with my TV, LG firstly ignored me for 2 weeks then simply responded, after asking for purchase & all other details, with 10% discount in their online store! They never even addressed the technical issue reported! Thinking I would waste another penny on such a bunch of lazy gits [LG] is arrogance beyond belief.
When trying to expedite a parcel taking 4 days to travel 26 miles, the automated menu took 3 minutes to recognise I needed a person, then the foreign agent simply read a screen, robot style, without any understanding of what was happening. Automated Idiots!

After numerous issues with accessing their website the replies from CS, when not totally irrelevant through not understanding the issue, were patronizing & ineffective because the problem originated with ASDA. Following complaints by phone, where the foreign agent just hung up, then on callback the manager refused to take the call, emails were sent. These were never replied. Further letters by post to the CEO & Chief Customer Officer also went unanswered. This really is one of the most ignorant companies I have ever had the misfortune to use!
