Unlike all other car comparison sites in operating in Europe that I have personally used, bookingcom/rentalcarscom purposefully omit the location fee (sometimes written as the premium location fee) from their rates to make the price of the car look cheaper at the outset.

From their website, " NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE - Local Charges
This section shows charges that you’ll pay at the counter because of (a) where you're picking your car up,".

The rental car company will charge you this after you return the car - plus the tax. Which for me was an additional 20%. Likely an agreement between the two entities.

In my 30 years of renting cars this is a first for me. Every other site I have used has everything included. You just need to decide if you want unlimited KM or not.

There are better, more transparent car rental comparison sites out there than this lot. This is sneaky/deceptive.

This is something (sh1t) that I never use personally but occasionally need to manage my children's accounts for whatever annoying reason. Today, I can't log in - which I believe is the usual and expected experience. Faced with multiple unsolvable puzzles.

So, we can't do it. You can't contact support either without solving these unsolvable puzzles either👎🏻

All good. It will be my go-to for books in future.

Limited or confused currency options. No english language with Euro currency site.

You should fix that.

Went to the bank to open account. Hard to park there. Took forever.

They got my email wrong. No way to contact them. Rang the central number. Got a 'muhammed/sukdeep' who struggled with English. After 20min phone call and after giving him bank sort code (which uniquely identifies the branch) I got my call back from a branch at the opposite end of the country. And that is that.

Hopeless.

I know it's cheapy crap from ccpland aka china but for low value items, it's handy.

Can't log in today because they want a mobile number that I didn't give in the first place. I have my email and password.....but no good. So that is the end of that.

Hopefully, the one order I have with them gets delivered


Edit 8.05.26: Thank you for the updated reply. I cannot log in with my email and password to access your help centre. I am receiving spam marketing emails now daily from a different aliexpress email so they all have to be marked as SPAM. Thankfully, I didn't give you my mobile number!

With this company for 4 years. Never missed a payment for their not-very-fast broadband. Gave umpteen emails (that they replied to) to let them know I would be leaving - including a final email one month before the expiry of the contract.

They are still billing me several months later.

These companies behave as if the customer pool is unlimited. I went from a potential return customer to never going back to this company.

All good. I don't fly in Europe on any other airline.

While trying to research a future booking the city I am looking for is listed as being located in another country. I contacted customer service about this inaccuracy but was fobbed off.

I would not like to be trying to get some help if there was a problem during a reservation abroad!

No packaging for transit. All boxes exposed and damaged. Fortunately, glass items were not broken. Wouldn't be able to return them though.

I have been using Firefox since forever. Years. Today I am uninstalling it as its translation only supports simple Chinese and not Traditional Chinese as is used by people in countries like Singapore and Taiwan and many other places (Hong Kong included).

Trying to see if I need visa for countries Japan and Taiwan but they list Taiwan, China. Not sure if there is a city or area also called Taiwan in China but it's the country of Taiwan I'm interested in.
