Very easy to understand. Don’t normally gamble but have been I’ll and so thought I would try my luck .

I have worn glasses and contact lenses since I was 14 yrs old but always a compromise with less than perfect vision . As I got older I needed lens for reading in one eye and lens for distance in other. Then varifocal glasses when eyes got older . I have astigmatism also . I never had perfect vision due to these issues and then cataracts bilaterally. I knew I had to have surgery so opted to go privately to get the best lens I could and after research I booked to see Kieren at his vision care clinic. I am so happy that I did and from the first consultation through to my post op visit he has made me feel at ease and explained all my choices. The pre op assessment was thorough and gave me confidence that I was in good hands. I had both eyes done on the same day after full discussion of the pros and cons . This had to be in Cardiff which was worth the travel to have both eyes on same day, although this did heighten my concerns initially to have both done at the same time . It did mean no juggling glasses for the interim period whilst waiting for the other eye to be done.
The procedure itself was well managed with lovely staff to put me at ease whilst anaesthetic drops etc were administered and Kieren again explained everything at each stage . It was nothing like I was expecting . I won’t lie , I was nervous but It was painless and just like looking into a kaleidoscope , all done in less than 30 mins. Don’t know why I worried ! It’s been over a week now where I have followed all post op instructions ( lots of drops ) and I have the best vision I have ever had ! … I cannot thank Kieren and his team enough for giving me freedom from glasses after 50 yrs ! I would not hesitate to recommend Kieren and vision care clinic. Life changing !

I have waited a long time to have a range cooker of my dreams. We had a leisure range for years which was all we could afford at the time. It was very good and I was very happy with it for nearly 9 years. However I wanted a Rangemaster to last us through the next 10 years and have not been disappointed.
It is a very good build quality and easy to use… we bought a Rangemaster professional deluxe as I really wanted a bread proving drawer and the 2 ovens. It has so far turned out some very good meals in the last 3 weeks.
There are a couple of niggles though. Why isn’t the wok burner in the centre of the cooker top … being on the right it means the condiments/ oils and jars I keep to hand on the right hand side worktop for cooking are getting very hot and being splashed whilst using the wok burner.
The griddle which is over the ceramic job section does not get hot enough for searing as the ceramic hot plates beneath the griddle keep turning on/off by the thermostat ? Will have to still use the hot plate cast iron griddle I already have on the gas ring section for steaks/ searing etc …
I have 4 burns on my arms from the roasting tray rack fixed to the door as this makes it difficult to reach in to get other items being cooked on the upper shelf . But I will no doubt get used to it and work around this …..
It is great to have all the flexibility though that this cooker offers with the oven multi functions and the varied gas ring heating . My very handy husband has made a stainless steel deflector plate to put up to use when wok cooking to protect the condiments etc from becoming extremely hot .All in all it is a great oven with surmountable issues . Looks amazing and is easy to clean . Looking forward to many more meals from around the world…. Peshwari nan and chicken satay on the griddle were both pretty yummy !
