As a cybersecurity analyst
As a cybersecurity analyst, I recently investigated an incident involving the theft of my payment-card information. During my investigation, I discovered that my card details, along with the information of other individuals, appeared to be listed for sale on a website operating under the domain cvv.black.
Further investigation led me to identify NameSilo as being associated with the domain’s registration infrastructure. This raised concerns about whether NameSilo was providing services or infrastructure that enabled the operation of a website allegedly involved in the sale of stolen payment-card data.
Given the seriousness of the matter, I believe this warrants further investigation. My findings include evidence of stolen card information being advertised for sale, relevant domain-registration information, and technical details connecting the domain to its associated service providers.
I am raising this report in good faith so that the relevant parties can investigate the matter, determine the nature and extent of any involvement, and take appropriate action to prevent further victimization of individuals whose financial information may have been compromised.
