I have actually learned quite a bit.
I have actually learned quite a bit from this experience. For me personally, I am glad that I signed up for the audio to accompany the written part. Not all the audio totally matches the written but that is ok. I do think that the question about hand placement on the wheel is misleading as I believe the recommended placement didn't turn our to be the correct choice.

The course was effective
The course was very thorough. Although some of the data presented do not represent recent years, the objective is definitely met through the material presented. Particularly, the alcohol and drug section of the course. I believe everyone should take this course before obtaining a driver's license in any state.
