Delivery was very good. However, when I tried to set it up nothing was working. I had to consult the manufacturer online and we decided the battery was empty and I had to fully charge it using a mob... See more

Placed order ,picked it up straight away. Excellent service
Lovely item no problems ordering or collecting. Staff friendly and helpful
I would give it minus if I could!!...bought a plastic shed from Argos, when it arrived it looked like it was a returned item, as non of the sharp metal frame parts were in bubble wrap, they were just rattling around inside the box. We didn't take any part of the shed out of the box as it was quite clearly damaged, the roof panel had a dent in it and various scratches and holes in the panels, probably due to the loose sharp metal frame rattling around. This should never have been sent out in the first place. To make matters even worse we've had to keep the shed in our front room for the last week waiting for someone to pick it up!!! Also the process of trying to return something to Argos was an absolute nightmare. I will never be buying from Argos again.
Bolton Store and online customer care review
I purchased a green metal clothing rail from Argos based on the product photographs, which showed green hanger stoppers appearing integrated into the frame. The item I received instead had white, removable plastic stoppers.
After contacting Argos through several channels, I was eventually told to take it to my local store. At the Bolton branch, I was told that because the written description didn't specifically state the colour or material of the stoppers, Argos had not misrepresented the product, despite the photographs showing something materially different. I was offered a £4 partial refund, which I accepted as the rail itself is still usable.
My main disappointment is the customer service. I was repeatedly passed between different channels and struggled to get a meaningful response. I eventually raised a formal complaint via live chat and was told a manager would contact me within 48 hours. No one did. After contacting live chat again today, I was simply told to wait another 48 hours. It increasingly feels as though Argos has a culture of simply ignoring customer concerns or passing customers from one channel to another, with no one taking ownership of the issue.
I also believe there’s a good chance Argos’s Trustpilot replies are AI-generated, given how repetitive they are and how they ignore my requests not to be directed to Twitter or Facebook.
I will update this review with the outcome of my complaint. If no contact is made again after another 48 hours I shall be writing to head office.
So far, my experience of Argos customer service has been extremely poor.
Very easy to make a order and staff are very helpful in the Stranraer store
Ordered an item and was advised in confirmation email would arrive the next day. Nothing and its now three days later. Spoke with three different call handlers who all advised something different. Told yes it had been dispatched, told no it hasn't been dispatched, told it was out of stock, told it was with the delivery company.
Two months ago I ordered a fridge/freezer from Argos. Arrived on arranged day however the two delivery men were rude and miserable despite me ensuring the area was totally clear. Literally just put it down and walked off.
Will not shop at Argos again even if they are cheaper
The bunk beds were well priced to start with. Delivery was free. .a bonus. And the actual product was and is very good. Grandchildren incandescent.
Good price reduction in sale Bought few items well made good quality material fit spot on fine TU quality very good collected from store keeped updated on order
The item was fine, the delivery was a mess it should have came on the Monday but nothing no text ,so went on to find out where it was only to have to rearrange a delivery date ,which the earliest was 3days after the original date not very good
Stuff with bang on timing are alright as fast as anything
Bought an HP printer on 29th May 2026, promised 3000 Nectar points as part of the promotion, still haven’t got them. Order number 6779579082, customer care case number CE-202607-2105. Will be giving Argos and Nectar a 1* review every day until they sort it out. Don’t ask me to contact you by Facebook or Twitter/X, I don’t use them, even though you keep asking me!. Use the info above order number and case number to sort it out! 1* again as promised until it’s resolved!
Rahul, congratulations, you have earned Argos another 1* Trustpilot review. I followed your instructions and called 0345 6402020 on Monday 17th August. I spoke to Fons, who gave me another customer care case number ENQ-202608-21423, and promised me that the 3000 Nectar points, plus an extra 149 points for the printer purchase would be added to my account within 48 hours. Not surprisingly that deadline has passed and the points have not been added. This really is ridiculous now, and no I will not contact you by social media! You have everything that you need to resolve this mess! I’m fully expecting another one of your “I sincerely apologise” responses. Don’t bother insulting me anymore, just fix the problem please. And yes, Argos will continue to get 1* review each day until this is resolved!
I have also written to Argos customer services explaining all of this with copies of all paperwork, still nothing!
Very easy to place the order. Collection was quick and simple
Normally very good but sadly this time was a bad experience.
I placed an order on 31/08 for delivery on 03/09 between 7am and 2pm, received confirmation of the order and it said they would text with a 2 hour slot on the day. I waited in on the day, but had not heard anything by 11am, so checked the status online and the order was only showing as processing and not despatched.
I used the online chat and spoke to someone who said there had been some sort of glitch and the delivery was never booked. They rebooked delivery for the next available slot between 7-2 on 07/09. Again I got confirmation by text and email of the new delivery date. Morning of the delivery came and again, no message with a time slot, I again check on my account and there are now 2 orders showing for the same thing, both due for delivery on 07/09, and both still showing as processing. I again queried it in the online chat and was told the other person had not actually booked it, I questioned how it wasn't booked when I'd had confirmation email and text that it would be delivered but that was ignored and I was just asked to rebook.
I rebooked for the next day, again between 7-2. I did not receive any confirmation so I checked an hour later and now 1 order number was showing as cancelled and the other still showing as processing.
Once again I went on to the online chat and was told the previous person had in fact cancelled the order, instead of rebooking, and I would have to wait for the refund and then re-order, but now the price for the item has significantly increased.
I will be getting the refund and ordering elsewhere, in future I will stick to ordering things that are in stock for collection, and leave orders for delivery to companies that actually deliver the order.
