Excellent Customer Service
I was struggling to get our brand new car insured (DVLA and insurance systems are usually not 'in sync'). But the AA were able to sort the insurance 'manually' at a really competitive price. The agent who dealt with my call was friendly and helpful; providing information and explaining processes really well. Shortly after the insurance set up, I received an email confirming everything, and the following day I was able to set up my account. I was very happy with the service I received.

Web pages - Lack of attention to detail
Lack of attention to detail, probably from back end where program written for AA website. Essential line of address missing. Not advised date Deposit was to be taken from bank account. Programmers missed off bit sending & returning web page of Theaa and it will not load in Firefox browser. Bad Bad mistake. Please put this right!

Shocking amount of time needed to get through them on the phone, over 60 minutes. Once i renewed the policy (which was good value) i never received the policy documents via email as requested. Old fashioned organisation.

Telrphone discussion ofthe policy b
I needed to discuss the policy before committing online. It took me almost half an hour on the phone waiting for the call to be answered. I felt this was far too long. The representative who eventually answered the phone was pleasant and helpful and dealt with my enquiry.
