Great experience, we went to Nottingham Store to buy a carpet. Chris was helpful and quick to process our order, add extra notes to our booking and gave us advice how to best fit the carpet we are self fitting

All contact with Tapi has been great. From advice, to choice of flooring. You are guided through every step so a very painless experience. Would definitely recommend after dealing with a more local flooring company who let us down. Tapi have been great in price and with a friendly service we will use them again.

From start to finish the transaction with the Woking store was excellent. I'd already ordered my samples online and used the imaging tool to see how my selected carpet would look in my own home so I arrived knowing exactly what I wanted. Per, the surveyor who came to measure was meticulous. Took time with it and made sure that I was choosing the right colour door strips, didn't push me at all to have new underlay. ( I chose to have it so that everything is new and fresh) and gave me the interest-free options. That process went without a hitch.

The fitters were exceptional. There isn't any issue between the change of flooring ( which I've experienced in the past) and all the cutting around architraves is exceptional.

At every stage I worried that something would go wrong as often happens with any renovations but this was easy and literally seamless! I would recommend!

I booked a free measure up on Saturday 5th September 2026. The floorologist was a mr MATHEW ROGERS and to be very honest this gentleman deserves more stars than just 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ he went above & beyond to get what I wanted even with a smaller budget after hours Mathew still gave me his time untill I was satisfied and happy with my order. Infact because of Mathew Roger’s I cancelled my 2 other appointments with companies. Hand on ❤️ this man should be running his local store in my opinion very soon ,hence why I went with TAPI

I've not had the carpet yet but sales and service have been fantastic. Stacey helped me pick the right carpet and underlay with no rush and then went out of her way to help later when I realised I hadn't applied a discount code. 5 stars are well deserved.

Costings opaque, didn’t like their charges & particularly charges for grippers being 5x the cost of elsewhere. Very peculiar quote / invoice documents. Staff very helpful / patient with a frustrated customer. Tapi has a near monopoly on carpets so need to sharpen up their act

I have ordered my new floor covering, but it will not be fitted until next month.

Our experience with Tapi Coventry was excellent all round from walking in store and being dealt with by Stephen. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and found us the same carpet we had found in another competitors store and it worked out Tapi were cheaper all round and that even included the fitting. Stephen followed up by arranging to come out and measure the stairs and top landing and even explained the way the pattern would lay on the stairs with samples. This wasn’t explained to us by the other company. We were happy to proceed so he booked a date that was convenient and took payment… easy as that. The day of fitting was stress free to, the fitter John called in the morning to give time of arrival and turned up within the time he given. He was very polite he asked how I wanted it and got on, a few hours later it was finished and he even hoovered up all the bits. Best carpet fitter ever. The very next day I received a courtesy call to ask how my fitting had gone and ask if I was happy, this in my mind told me that they appreciated our business. I would highly recommend Tapi Coventry if your looking for first class service A*

Craig Shatford at the Junction One store in Bidston was an absolute dreamboat from the moment we walked through the door.

He listened patiently while my elderly mum took the scenic route explaining the measurements of her bungalow, and very quickly helped us find the right carpet pile for her needs. He then went out of his way to help us choose the right colour; no easy task, as Mum is partially blind...

Craig also guided her through the payment and booking process with endless patience, giving her time to remember details such as her address and never once making her feel rushed or awkward. Sadly, she has experienced eye rolling and impatience from salespeople elsewhere in the past, so his kindness and respect really stood out.

A true gent who clearly knows his stuff. He turned what could easily have been a stressful morning into a genuinely pleasant experience for both of us.

Thank you, Craig. We’re now looking forward to getting some lovely quality carpet fitted and, most importantly, keeping Mum warm and cosy this winter!
