About Scalapay

Written by the company

Scalapay is an innovative payment service allowing consumers to pay for their purchases in 3 instalments, without interests: the first at the time of ordering, the second after one month and the third after two months.

Scalapay is available on more than 3,000 brand partner websites and in more than 4,000 physical shops. Its partners include names such as Kiko, Twinset, Douglas, Shein, Alpitour and Stroili, as well as fashion, beauty, home and travel companies in 9 countries (Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Finland).

How does it work?

Online, the customer can select the payment option at the time of purchase, register and proceed to enter their credit, debit or prepaid card details. The balance will automatically be divided into three instalments, the first immediately, the second and third one month apart. Choosing to pay through Scalapay has no cost, in terms of interest or commission, for the end customer.

In-store, the customer registers on the Scalapay website, selects the retailer where they want to buy and how much they want to spend. The Scalapay system generates a barcode which, when presented at the checkout, will be scanned to complete the transaction.

I want to share that my experience with Scala has been nothing but positive.

As a suggestion to make the service even better, it would be great if it could be used via NFC at any business entity, operating just like a standard payment card.

Thank you very much for your excellent service and for considering this proposal.

Sincerely,

Julian Anthony Murray Carryl
