Catastrophic experience...there are commercials every 5 minutes.
Netflix seems like a better option at the moment

Constant ads. Fewer and fewer new movies. Worse and worse orginal content. After years as a loyal customer I can't take the abuse any more.

The tech issues are constant!!! No audio or interuptions of the play. Over all I would like to give them -5.

HBO Max: grandi diritti sul tennis, esperienza sportiva deludente

Mi sono abbonato principalmente a HBO Max solo per poter seguire Roland Garros e il tennis, dato che non c’era altro modo per vedere questo torneo.
Le partite in diretta o intere in streaming si trovano abbastanza facilmente, ma tutto il resto dell’esperienza sportiva è stata piuttosto deludente.

La ricerca degli highlights è poco intuitiva e spesso praticamente inutile. È molto difficile trovare rapidamente i momenti salienti delle partite, le interviste post-partita, le analisi o i contenuti di approfondimento che ormai ogni appassionato di tennis si aspetta di poter vedere facilmente.

Anche la sezione “Vedi tutta la programmazione” è organizzata in modo confuso: ci sono molte icone quasi tutte uguali, senza una chiara distinzione dei contenuti, e bisogna aprirle una per una per capire cosa contengano. Gli highlights, tra l’altro, spesso non si trovano affatto.

Se HBO Max decide di acquistare i diritti di un evento importante come Roland Garros, dovrebbe anche essere in grado di offrire una piattaforma sportiva degna di questo nome.
Io ho pagato un abbonamento appositamente per seguire il torneo, ma rispetto a servizi sportivi più esperti l’esperienza risulta molto inferiore, soprattutto nella facilità di accesso ai contenuti più utili e richiesti dagli utenti.

Non scrivo questa recensione con rabbia, ma con la speranza che venga migliorata l’esperienza per chi ama davvero seguire il tennis.

HBO Max: great tennis rights, disappointing sports experience

I subscribed to HBO Max mainly to follow Roland Garros and tennis, since there was no other way to watch this tournament.
Live matches and full match replays are fairly easy to find, but the rest of the sports experience has been quite disappointing.

The highlights section is poorly organized and often almost impossible to navigate. It is very difficult to quickly find match highlights, post-match interviews, analysis, or additional tennis content that fans normally expect to access easily.

Even the “See Full Schedule” section feels confusing: there are many similar-looking icons with no clear distinction between contents, so users have to open them one by one just to understand what is inside. In many cases, highlights are simply missing.

If HBO Max chooses to acquire the rights for a major event like Roland Garros, it should also be able to provide a sports platform worthy of such an event.
I specifically paid for a subscription to follow the tournament, but compared to more experienced sports services, the user experience feels far below expectations, especially when trying to access the most useful and requested content.

I am not writing this review out of anger, but in the hope that the experience can be improved for people who genuinely love following tennis.

should be better!!!

The streaming quality is absolutely horrible. You can’t watch a movie without it having poor quality like you’re watching a movie from the 90s when it should be in 4K crappy surface.

I just canceled the HBO Max subscription bundle & went back with what I had. If they can’t figure this shit out & make it easy for everyone why bother having the subscription “bundle” at all. It’s not a bundle it’s a hassle when all I wanted was to watch a docuseries

Everything is showing black screen the entire time I cannot watch anything just audio...

I am so disappointed in this streaming service. HBO was once the studio that everyone strived to replicate and having only recently restarted watching their streaming service, I am so baffled and annoyed at the buffering, the restarts of the program when forwarding through scenes...it's so third-tier...what hsppened??

Everyone I’ve spoken to is asking for Norma Jean & Marilyn. Hopefully it will be on HBO soon

How much corporate greed can HBO customers take!? I’m about the cancel HBO as I have ads every 2 minutes…just get the heck out of my life with your corporate profit margin chasing baloney. It’s worst than watching National TV that is free. I pay for Netflix, Peackock, Prime and HBO- and I’m about to cancel HBO because it has far more ads than any other streaming service. What happened to them??? Go back to cable and leave us alone with your stupid ads.

The paid ad free plan still shows ads they just call them promos

HBO really looked at Netflix raising prices and said: “Hold my unskippable ad break.”

Nothing says “premium streaming experience” quite like paying for a subscription just to get interrupted by the same loud-ass commercial for a reality show I would rather survive a medieval plague than watch.

The funniest part is HBO used to feel classy. You’d open it and think: “Ah yes, cinema.”
Now it feels like cable TV wearing a fake Rolex.

I’m 3 episodes deep into a dark psychological drama and suddenly:
“HEY YOU FAT F*CKS, BUY A NEW KIA.”

Absolute masterpiece of immersion.

At this point I’m expecting ads in the middle of dialogue:
“I love you…”
buffering
“THIS MOMENT BROUGHT TO YOU BY DOMINO’S.”

Amazing strategy though. Make people pay monthly AND test their patience like it’s some social experiment.

We paid for it to each nhl games it glitches more than it plays! Wtf you should not be charging for this bs!!!

I pay for hbo max to watch prem rugby and ufc. The highlights take days to be added to hbo. Highlights are on YouTube quicker with less adverts! Why pay for hbo?!

Horrible service migration. Didn’t work at all. No agents know how to help or are willing to try. Avoid at all costs

I started using HBO max to watch Friends. Too many adds compared to Netflix. Will be switching back to Netflix after watching the show

HBO has the best series…and the WORST adds and customer service! Why they keep repeating the same add over and over again?! “Get the subscription without adds”? I tried, and it gave me a huge headache and…yes, the adds didn’t go away. I’m tired of watching that ro.co add over and over again!!!:?

Too many ads ruins boxset experience. I think dvds should make a comeback
