I had an issue with a damaged order that was immediately processed for a reprint. Another printing issue was also resolved within an hour of submitting my request for resolution. Happy with the resolution!

I’ve been using Gelato for the past year for my business. It makes my life so much easier. I don’t have to worry about production, packaging, shipping. My main concern were issues with shipping, and they handle it very well! If something is wrong with the poster, or package is undelivered - gelato ships replacement right away!

I have been here before with Gelato, two orders that have been late.
I have been here before. I have an order for a customer in the USA that should have been shipped on Monday. It was placed on the 25th August. My order details in Gelato have stated 'In Production' since then and have not changed today 3/9/26. It is showing as 2 days late on Etsy and there is nothing I can do. This is not the first time this has happened this year.
Still no update on the 4/9/26 at Gelato. Etsy now show this as 3 days late on my account, and there is nothing I can do. I have offered the customer a full refund is this is not met and that I will still deliver at my cost. So that will take an order with a profit of £3 to a loss of £12. Thanks Gelato.
The order is still saying In Production and being a Saturday I expect it still to say In Production on Monday. I was told it had moved to a new production facility but nothing has happened there.
I now have a second order that should have shipped on Friday. Today it says In Production; that is two orders 'In Production' now and going nowhere. Time to move on to another supplier once they are complete. I hope other Mug designers who use Gelato in the USA are taking note.
Both these orders are still showing as 'In Production' on the 6/9/26. No communication from Gelato on either item. I had another order that was completed in a day in the USA. It is a shame it was not either of these orders.

Sample Orders
So far, so good! Placed a sample order this evening, and it was an easy enough process. Connected to my Etsy shop, and that was so straightforward, which is great. I will write a further review (an honest one) once I get my first orders. All great so far, though.

Using this platform has been the most infuriating and frustrating experience I've ever had. Not only is their tech unreliable and hard to use, but their customer service feels like talking to a wall. I lost so much money due to their api sync issues; it's not funny. There was a point where all my products suddenly went to negative. I would NOT recommend this if you plan is to sync it with your Etsy store. You will need to keep an eye on shipping prices and sudden changes of your margins PLUS poor quality prints.

At first, good product, good quality. But when you start a business you order often and then you see the lack of consistency, lost item, shipping delays, custom fees, poor customer service, and it repeats over time without them trying to find solutions. They just don't care about the small businesses.

Gelato’s platform is so easy to understand, it’s the most smooth and pleasant experience. The website loads quickly, the number of products you can choose from is enormous, and many of them are quality brands made in good places. I could not be happier with the product range. Uploading designs is super easy and you get a dpi measurement that tells you if your design will be a good quality when it is printed! Best of all, it’s free. I highly recommend this platform!
