I recently made a mistake and sent 10 USDT via the opBNB network to my deposit address.
First, Mypal support lied and claimed that because crypto is decentralized, it is "technically impossible" to recover. When I confronted them with the technical facts, they changed their story and asked for a ridiculous 57 USDT fee to recover just 10 USDT!
They clearly hold the private keys to the address and can recover it, but they prefer to mislead users and set impossible fees to avoid doing manual work. Unprofessional and dishonest. Avoid this app.

Hello, after reviewing this case and the relevant support records, we would like to clarify several important points.
The 10 USDT was sent through the opBNB network to a deposit address that did not support this network. Our deposit page clearly reminds users to verify the selected network and warns that deposits made through an unsupported network may not be credited or recovered through the normal deposit process.
We found no record of our support team stating that the funds could not be recovered “because cryptocurrency is decentralized.” What our team explained was that the deposit had been made through an unsupported network and could not be processed through MyPal’s standard deposit procedure.
At your request, our team contacted the third-party custody wallet provider to explore whether an exceptional manual recovery could be arranged. The provider offered a possible recovery solution and quoted a 57 USDT manual processing fee. This fee was determined and collected by the custody provider, not by MyPal, and MyPal does not receive any part of it.
We understand that paying 57 USDT to recover a 10 USDT transfer may not be economically practical. However, MyPal did not cause the incorrect-network transfer, withhold the funds, or impose the recovery fee. Despite the warning displayed on the deposit page, our team still contacted the custody provider and attempted to find a solution on your behalf.
Therefore, the claim that MyPal deliberately misled you or imposed an unreasonable recovery fee is not consistent with the actual handling of this case.
