Where do the Trails explore?
We have over 1,200 Trails across villages, cities and towns in the UK. Visit our website and enter the location you wish you explore, and you'll see all the nearby Trail adventures.
Who are the Trails for?
Literally everyone! Our Trails are particularly great for families with kids aged 4 - 11, and adults who love acting like big kids! Thousands of adults have completed a Trail without a child in sight.
How to get a Trail
You can get a Trail from treasuretrails.co.uk. Trails can be instantly downloaded to print at home or use on the Treasure Trails app, for same-day Trailing fun! Or, if you fancy a digital detox, we can print and pop one in the post for you.

Easy ordering system, quick delivery and excellent after service. I've now downloaded the app as well as having the books.

We’ve done these trails across most of the UK and have found the majority of them to be superb. They’re an excellent way of exploring and there’s always something interesting to learn and see. We tend to amble round them to enjoy and appreciate the location and its amenities. We never visit a new place without buying a trail. Highly recommended for all ages.

Great fun. Purchased as a gift and was thoroughly enjoyed by adults and teenagers in the group

Wymeswold is a charming village and the sights attractive. A lack of pubic toilets and an easily accessible picnic/playing field are drawbacks. However the pub we went into was vary welcoming.

My wife and I have been enjoying these treasure trails for a few years now, and at less than £10 it really is a cost effective way to entertain yourself and the family for a few hours. You can be a spy or a detective exploring towns and cities all over the UK, even places you've been before are seen in a new light, as the trails reveal new information, history and sights that you've never seen or noticed before.
Whether you chose to go old school and have the clues delivered in the post through your letterbox or whether you're gen Z and have them downloaded to your app in a matter of minutes, they're easy to use.
The clues give you guidance and if you get stuck there's help on hand. You don't necessarily have to be that fit either with the average trail being between 1 and 2 miles only and you can check if it's suitable for prams or disabled access before you buy.
The plus for us, is that my wife can use her Tesco club card points to buy trails so it doesn't cost us anything. Winner winner chicken dinner 😁
If you successfully complete the trail you are also entered into a monthly prize draw, which obviously you're gonna use on future fun trails 🎉

Puzzles are set at just the right level, makes you think but not unsolvable. Great directions means you don't get lost. Makes me explore a place so much more than if I just went for a look round on my own.

Haven’t completed the trails yet but they look great and easy to follow.

Lot of choice of trails for where we are going. Have completed a few and always enjoyed them. Great for families to look around without children getting bored. Good website and further downloads for kids.

Absolutely love a treasure trail. They’re a really great way to explore somewhere new, encouraging you to look differently at your surroundings.

Some of the clues were covered by scaffold, the kids lost interest after about 30mins. Perhaps they were too young

It was a great way to spend a few hours exploring a town you thought you knew!
Very well thought out quiz
Would definitely do it again in a different town

The Hull treasure trail was enjoyed by the 9 people who took part
I would buy this again when we visit other places
It highlights the parts of the town that we would have missed
Thank you

We have completed many Treasure Trails over a number of years and found them enjoyable and challenging whether done as a couple or a group of friends. Preferring to work from a paper copy, we find the printed trail attractive and user friendly.
Our most recent buys are slightly different - a driving trail and a longer walk - and both look interesting.
My only criticism is of the length of time taken for a printed trail to arrive by Second Class Royal Mail. The TT website advises a few days but our recent trails took 2 weeks to arrive. In the meantime TT had sent out replacements by First Class mail but in spite of their efforts one trail arrived the next day, one arrived 2 days later. I was advised that once trails are in the post TT have no means of tracking them.
Having had an identical experience at the end of 2025, we would recommend that you order printed trails at least 3 weeks before you plan to use them.
