Excellent Customer Service
I have been ordering from Salons Direct for years and they always been excellent so I have never required customer services. However I recently did have an issue with a product which was unusual but Abagail in Customer Services sorted this out immediately.

I am contacting you regarding the Lotus Chrome Barber Pole I purchased from you.
Unfortunately, the barber pole is not working, and I am also concerned that the product does not appear to be as described on your website.
The product description states that it includes an internal transformer and a 4-metre power cable, with a low-voltage jack plug connection for straightforward installation. However, I have been unable to get the barber pole working with the supplied connection.

Poor Packaging
Poor Packaging – Needs Improvement
I’m disappointed with the packaging of these products. I’ve had issues with colour tubes coming out of their boxes, and bleach powder packets bursting, causing mess and unnecessary waste and unable to store properly.
As a hairdresser, I rely on products arriving in good condition and being properly packaged, especially when dealing with professional colour and bleach products. The packaging needs to be secure enough to prevent products coming loose or splitting during transit and storage.
This is frustrating when you’re trying to run a salon efficiently, and I feel the packaging standards need to be improved. I hope this feedback is taken on board to prevent the same issues happening with future orders.
