Established as a limited company in 1946, we have been producing high quality ladders and access solutions from our head office and manufacturing facilities in Forfar, Scotland for over 79 years. We are a family-run business split into two divisions, Ramsay Ladders and Ramsay Access, allowing us to provide ladders and access solutions for a variety of sectors within the commercial and residential markets. Although renowned worldwide for our original Loft Ladder, our product range at Ramsay Ladders is as diverse as the purposes for which they are used for. Regardless of its purpose or the environment in which it is to be used, every product is designed with the latest innovations and manufactured to a standard that few companies can match.

What a great company

What a great company. We ordered a standing platform. Then asked for a delivery date as it was urgent. They took of there transport and put on an overnight. Tracked it for us and the delivery was made. The product was sturdy and we only had to put the hand rails on. 100 percent great experience

I don't know the age of my loft ladders…

I don't know the age of my loft ladders approximately 25 to 30 years old, and Ramsay's had no record of the serial no. I ordered the part that looked like mine and checked the measurements. It fit perfectly apart from l had to move it back 25 to 50mm and drill some new holes in the floor.
No problem all well I can now lift the ladder with my little finger. Delivery good.

I recently purchased the Ramsay TE5.0MF…

I recently purchased the Ramsay TE5.0MF Extra Heavy-Duty Aluminium Triple Extension Ladder and found it to be a masterful piece of industrial equipment. It represents a substantial financial investment. However, for high-end homeowners and professional tradespeople needing to safely access extreme heights, its premium build quality justifies the cost. Reaching a massive 13.30-metre fully extended height from a manageable 5.05-metre closed length. The integrated rope operation system makes hoisting the massive sections incredibly smooth. The pulley mechanism eliminates heavy lifting and awkward manual pushing during setup with foolproof automatic swing clutch mechanism to secure the sections. Equipped with wall running wheels on the top section and heavy rubber feet at the base. It arrived exactly as promised within the 14–21 days delivery window.
