The Backgammon game did not arrive after 7 days and I had nothing to give to someone on their birthday. I have tried for three days to get a responce from this company and they are not responding. They actually do not use their phone number anymore. I wonder why? I really hope I have not been scammed.

Poor service, uncontactable
I made an order on 7th July. My bank account has been charged but I never received a confirmation email or order number. No sign of delivery yet and it's been over a week. I have been trying to contact Jaques almost every day since making the order. The email on their website doesn't work - I have tried it twice. I have filled in their online form 3 times and heard nothing yet. There is no phone number. I was hoping to get these items in time for an event, so I am losing hope despite trying to contact Jaques. This is a last ditch attempt to get help!

I have been very disappointed with the service that I have received from this company.
I ordered a Noahs Ark which was a lovely item.
However a few months later the bottom has broken off.
I have sent numerous emails to the company and a photo but they are refusing to help as I do not have an order number.
Surely the photo shows that I ordered it !
I am now worried about the presents I have since ordered and are considering sending them back and not even opening them

Excellent Customer Service…
There were a couple of issues with my purchase but there was no quibble in resolving immediately. Unfortunately Evri let them down and the replacement did not arrive. However, on contacting Jaques they sent out another replacement immediately with another courier which was received very quickly. For customer service I would give 5 stars. I have only deducted one star because perhaps quality control could have been better. I suppose I should also say that my grandson loves his present and we look forward to many days hunting for bugs in the garden.

Excellent - I'd not heard of Jaques previously only came across it through Amazon and went onto their own website. Its a veritable delight! So much to choose from and all arranged in age categories which makes it easier when looking for gifts for grandchild. I also think that considering you are getting quality wooden toys which will last and last and give great delight rather than the plastic stuff its reasonably good value for money too. Will be back in the build up to Christmas!

Never buy from Amazon again!
Really lovely products, beautifully packaged, reasonably priced, promptly delivered and, crucially, safe.
I fell into the trap of buying toys from Amazon when my children were smaller and quickly learned that the Bad Old Days of unsafe toys were back - 3 out of 3 items from Amazon contained items that were potentially fatal (chokable size pieces coming loose).
Now I only choose reputable companies and am delighted to have found Jacques, I'll be returning!
