Absolutely appalling service from Evan Halshaw Newport.
The lack of care, urgency and communication has been shocking. I bought a car that has had ongoing issues, and instead of taking responsibility and actually pushing to get them resolved, I have been left constantly chasing them.
My car was kept for over a week, largely because of their lack of urgency, and despite submitting a massive formal complaint, I have received no response. Emails are ignored, complaints are ignored, and nobody seems interested in actually sorting the problems.
They even caused an engine warning light to come on and then tried to push me off until October to have it dealt with. This is completely unacceptable after buying a car from a dealership.
The whole experience has shown a complete lack of care for the customer. It feels like you're left to deal with the problems yourself.
I have now reached the point where I do not trust the Newport dealership to resolve my car properly and am having to take the vehicle back to Merthyr Tydfil instead, despite this being much further for me. It should not have to come to this.
The whole experience has been incredibly stressful and frustrating. When you spend a significant amount of money buying a car from a dealership, you expect the vehicle to be fit for purpose and, if something does go wrong, you expect the dealership to make a genuine effort to put it right.
No responses from Tia Matthews, Ellie Noble and Nathan Collings on my emails. No response from the complaint. Nothing.
Even told by another company that they do not want to deal with Evan Halshaw anymore!
I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from Evan Halshaw Newport to think twice.

Had a product recall on my car, no appointment needed!
Arrived at the Wigan branch and was quickly sorted out by the lovely and helpful Doreen. The engineer quickly took my car and changed the Airbag.
Everything completed in half an hour and a nice cup of coffee to boot!!!

impossible to contact
every time i have needed to make a booking i have had to drive to the site in person as they do not answer the phone or online enquiries.
once at site the service is brilliant but the fact you have to take a few hours out of your day for something that could be sorted in minutes over the phone is what lets them down.
